How to access a Plan created in Enterprise Link Design Studio

I have created a Plan in Design Studio of Enterprise Link and i would like to put it in a report which i am planning to create using BAM active studio. Can some body tell me how to access things created in Enterprise Link from active studio/architect.

You have to create a plan to connect to the external message source, get the message and parse , and finally put it in the ADC data object (user created object). After this step, all your incoming messages will be in ADC data object. Only after getting the message into ADC object, you can use this object - you can create reports using this object.
I have a few questions
a) Can you identify your company. b) Have you taken the BAM training course c) These steps are given in training documents in lab 2-6 step by step.

Enterprise link design studio start up error.

Hi ,
I have installed BAM on XP and working on it.
When i try opening Enterprise link design studio i am getting TNS listener error.
A tns entry is there in the tnsnames.ora file.
I was using the studio previously and was working fine.

I have reinstalled Enterprise Link and now i am able to open design studio.
But BAM user was not created during the installation i created it manually.
I created a plan when i try updating the plan i am getting the following error

Cannot log in the BAM Enterprise Link Design Studio

I installed a BAM 10.1.3.3 in Windows 2003 SP1 server. And I cannot log in the BAM Enterprise Link Design Studio with the following errors:

Self Answer: reinstall the BAM, and only check the repository install, don't move the data service and it works.

In the web UI we have business role IC_manger where you can search the activities based on employee responsible and you can use business transaction assignment functionality to assign those activities to any other end user or team.
Else you can also use Agent inbox functionality if you have configure the agent inbox for those activity.

I am able to
SQL> create user ops$deskuser identified externally;
while deskuser is one of my OS user.
I believe it is a very easy question, however I just do not know how to access this user from sqlplus., please help

How can I to define permission in Task States- Designer Studio 3.1.4

The problem:
My flow there is a lot of parallel task and my enterprise need that task state can be change for state Suspenso.(my custon task state) when the user chooses the status "pendencia" (my custon status) in the flow. When the task to reach the state "Suspenso" the user can not to change it for other state, only a specific Role (Interrupcao) can to change it for other state. I need that my task has in your state the possibility to define permission for each Role like the order has. In the order I can to define, for each transition of states (Aborted, Cancelled, In Progress, Suspended ...), which Role can to change the state of her - Order Lifecycles Policy.
Any idea??

Order lifecycle policy governs the order states, not task states.
The user that is assigned to the task is capable of moving it into any state - there is no ability to restrict this to a role for a given state.

I recently had my hardrive fail and it was replace with a new one. It just happened to be the only computer I used to create and update my website. I lost some photos that are on my website, but there are 1 or 2 photo pages that I can't download them back to my computer from. Is there another way to get them from the .mac server to my computer? I hesitate to create a new iWebsite for fear of losing the one that has the photos I want. Thanks

You should be able to access any of the files on the Idisk.
You will need to construct a new site and in the future you should backup the "domain" file located in your user library/application support/iweb.
If you had that file you would not have lost anything.

I have created a custom attribute in UME by using the config tool, the problem that i was facing is i am unable to access those custom attributes via Iuser Api i.e even though i am using the method getAttributeNamespaces() it is returning all the attributes except the custom attributes that i have created in UME.

Use the user.api jar in your appln.
follow these steps in your code:
IWDClientUser wdUser = WDClientUser.getCurrentUser();
IUser user = wdUser.getSAPUser();
user.getAttribute("com.sap.security.core.usermanagement", "exact name of the custom attribute");

The whole purpose of connecting is to download remote files to local so they mirror each other.
It describes how to up load but not download.
Download is the exact opposite of upload.
Select Remote View, select all files, click Get.
When I get to that point, that will download all the webfiles into my local folder rewriting everything there?

But you don't have any files locally which will be overwirtten, do you? Just an empty folder waiting to be filled with files from the Remote server.

who could help? I can't set a value for a dynamically created attribute which is bind to a table.
My context of the view looks as follow (is defined in NetWeaver):
- Context
 - Availability (Node)
 - vctxService (Attribute)
 - vctxServiceDesc (Attribute)
 - ... (further predefined attributes)
 - ... (some have to be set dynamically as follows)
Then I have added attributes dynamically in the wdDoModifyView(...) - method, as follows:

If I understand your question correctly, you want to be able to generate a consistent, fixed URL to display a portlet. You can do that with portlet publishing. See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15919_01/wlp.1032/e14229/publishing.htm#i1045635 for the formats of portlet URLs. There should not be any additional configuration required.
