How to access Bootcamp drivers in Windows 7?

Having successfully installed Windows 7 (64-bit) on a Bootcamp partition of my new iMac, I used Disk Utility to format an 8 GB USB flash drive, choosing the MSDOS (FAT32) Format option as instructed to do by the Bootcamp 5.0 installation PDF. I then unzipped the Bootcamp 5.0.5033 files I had previously downloaded and copied them to the root directory of my flash drive.
When I restarted Windows 7 with the USB flash drive mounted, I navigated to my flash drive using only the wireless keyboard and tried to open the setup.exe file to install the hardware drivers. To my surprise, Windows 7 regarded my flash drive as improperly formatted and therefore unreadable. It cheerfully offered to format it for me, which I declined.
Back on the Mac OS 10.8.3 partition, I found that I could reformat my flash drive using NTSC, but then the Mac OS could no longer copy the Bootcamp drivers onto it. Since I don't have the necessary Windows drivers installed, naturally I can't get online and download the Bootcamp driver files directly onto the Windows 7 desktop. And I don't have access to another Windows computer at the moment. So it's a case of: "You can't get there from here".
I'd appreciate any suggestions for workarounds.

Thanks for the links. I had consulted both of those web pages and followed their instructions. So I have requisite Bootcamp files. The problem is that, contrary to the instructions given in the BootCamp installation PDF, Windows 7 refuses to recognize my FAT32 formatted USB flash drive, so I can't get access to the driver files on it. And of course Windows 7 can't see the Mac OS partition so I can't access them there either.

Today I decided to install Windows 8 onto my Mac Pro running 10.8.5 in order to play games on Steam. I started BootCamp assistant and made a 65GB partition for Windows 8, and when I tried to install Windows I unchecked the top box (not sure what it said now). Now I have a Windows computer, I CANNOT get back to OS X. The Mac Pro will not boot into OS X, it just goes straight to Windows every time. I've read that there should be some place in Windows to switch back, but I cannot find it. I tried holding down the option key upon boot up at the gray screen, it still goes straight to Windows. I tried holding command R at the boot up screen, it goes straight to Windows. HELP!! I picked the 60.5GB partition to install on, could it have somehow erased my OS X partition? Is there a way to install bootcamp drivers from Windows?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If a clean installation of Windows 8 has been performed, Bluetooth is not present and does not work on your notebook. It is necessary to install two driver components manually to activate the Bluetooth functionality.

- If your notebook is equipped with an Atheros or Realtek WLAN card with Bluetooth, you have to download the Atheros or Realtek Bluetooth Filter Driver

when i try to install the bootcamp drivers on Windows XP i get a error message saying that it only works for windows 7. I've ran windows XP on my computer so i know it works so why wont it work now.

Were you running Lion on your computer when you installed XP and it worked? How new is your iMac?
It appears you updated the OS. This is a major change from what you had previously. So the fact that it ran previously is somewhat irrelevant.

I get the blue screen whenever I try to install the bootcamp drivers in windows 7

I just recently installed windows 7 home on my 2011 imac useing bootcamp.
Everything seemed to install fine however whenever I try to run the bootcamp drivers in windows to get my mouse and wifi and all that to work I get a blue screened.
Any Ideas?
Ive followed the exact instructions from the manual for OSX and nothing seems to work.

Question: Does the Windows disk that you are using have SP2 (Service Pack 2)? In other words, is your version of Windows a FULL version (and not an upgrade version) of XPSP2 Home Edition?
Having SP2 is a requirement to have XP installed on an intel Mac.
If you already have the right version then I am not sure what exactly the issue may be.

BootCamp drivers crash Windows 7, slow startup, boot order?, backup drive

I have 3 issues that may be related or possibly not related to each other. I use an iMac (currently with Leopard 10.5.8 on a completely clean installation of both Leopard and Windows 7 on a freshly formatted and partitioned drive).
Issues:
1. Before reformatting and installing Leopard and Windows 7, I tried to install Snow Leopard and then Snow Leopard Bootcamp drivers into Windows 7. This crashed Windows 7.
2. Slow startup of Windows 7 - Drivers needed?
3. Firewire backup drive never re-mounts after using WIndows and then going back to OS X.
*Details of issues*:
In the past, before I completely re-installed Leopard 10.5.8 with a new Windows 7, with this same pair of operating systems, I always had a slow startup of Windows 7 on Boot Camp. Sometimes this would take up to 6 minutes to completely open Windows 7. The "Starting Windows" message would appear usually soon, but it would tale a very long time before the Windows logo Flag would appear. The slow startup still continues, even after a complete reinstallation of these on a freshly re-formatted and re-partitioned hard drive (This re-installation was done for reasons shown below).
For a long while I have thought that because I had never installed any BootCamp drivers into Windows 7, then it might start better if I were to install the BootCamp drivers from an installation disk. Thus when I the other day briefly upgraded to Snow Leopard, this time I went ahead while operating under Windows 7 to install into my already existing Windows 7 the set of Boot Camp drivers from the Snow Leopard installation disk. The installation seemed to go well, but it then hung up and never continued when it tried to install the Intel chipset driver. An an hour had passed with no further progress. Thus I force-shutdown the computer, and Windows then never opened until I restarted under safe mode. After that when I would restart Windows 7 "normally", I found also that the Apple wireless keyboard under BootCamp no longer was recognized. The "normal" slow booting of Windows 7 still remained.
Because of I was not sure just what all might have been messed up, and because I am waiting for new versions of several programs that I use to be made as versions compatible with Snow Leopard, I reformatted the complete drive (Both partitions were merged into 1), and then I reinstalled Leopard on a freshly prepared drive, followed by newly installing Windows 7 on a new BootCamp partition. Both systems were fresh installs on a freshly prepared drive and partitions. These were not from clones of the previous installations. This time I did not try to install any drivers from the Leopard disk. The slow booting of Windows 7 continues.
Things I have suspected might cause the slow booting:
1. Boot order of the Windows partition may be set to look for a CD-ROM before booting from the Windows 7 on the BootCamp Partition. To solve this, I have tried to open the BIOS on startup of Windows 7 in order to set the boot order. I am not sure which function key to press, but in trying several, I have gotten a DOS screen that shows Windows 7 as an option, but nothing else. When I select "Advanced", I get a list that includes "Safe Mode", "Boot Logging", and other items, but not anything for boot order.
2. The drivers for BootCamp might not yet be made for Windows 7, and I need to wait until these are so that these can be installed. After such, then maybe the slow startup might be fixed?
3. Possibly my Firewire backup drive interferes (permanently?) with the Windows startup process, because after I use Windows and then go back to OS X, the backup drive (Maxtor OneTouch III firewire drive) will not load on the MacIntosh desktop until I unplug the firewire from both the computer and the Maxtor drive and unplug the power cable to the backup drive, followed by replugging all of this in. (Note: The backup drive is formatted for Macintosh and is never seen as a drive in "My Computer" or in "Network Places" when I operate Windows 7).

Extra comments;
I also tried the following, which did not fix the startup (*Once up, Windows works well!*):
1. Checked for file and disk errors (ckdsk?? on startup).
2. Purged temporary internet and other temporary files (using internet options and disk cleanup utilities)
3. Cleared out Prefetch files.
4. Emptied trash.
5. Under "msconfig", I found 4 items there as startup items. I disabled Adobe Reader and Quicktime helpers, leaving only thus 2 startup items of the 4 enabled (Bulldog and some Microsoft thing).
6. Defragmented.
No better results.

How Do I Remove Existing BootCamp Drivers in Windows 7?

I've just replaced my 2009 Mac Mini Server with the 2012 equivalent. I've successfully utilised WinClone to clone my BootCamp partition from one Mini to the other. My copy of Windows 7 Professional 64bit opens as expected, and I've successfully re-entered my Windows Product Key.
My only unresolved problem is in re-installing the BootCamp drivers. I have already downloaded the latest BootCamp drivers to my pen/thumb drive, and inserted it in my Mac Mini once Windows has started. On starting the BootCamp package, and attempting to install the drivers, I am alerted to 'a network problem' - which prevents me from installing the latest drivers.
I suspect the problem resides in an existing BootCamp Manager v4.0.0.0 being present on my Windows install (from my previous Mac Mini).
On locating the existing BootCamp Manager, Windows will not permit me to delete/remove the program and its associated files.
I would therefore appreciate some assistance on either issue: installing new drivers, and/or, removing the existing BootCamp drivers.

The problem has resolved itself...
...despite spending several pointless hours trying to delete the existing BootCamp drivers without success, I finally restarted Windows yet again - and this time I was easily able to delete the existing drivers.
I then restarted my Mac, installed the latest drivers without issue and it all works just fine.
Windows, eh?!

Partition not big enough to install bootcamp drivers (installed windows 7)

I installed bootcamp, partitioned a drive to 6GB (thought it was 16GB)
installed windows 7 pro and went to install the bootcamp drivers so I can switch back to Snow Leopard and it won't let me install the drivers because the partition is so low on space. I don't have any other application on the windows 7 partition as i just installed it. I even tried to create room by deleting the sample photos, music and videos, which got me to a point where i could start the installation then it stopped cause it got too full again.
How do i get my mac back to snow leopard? OR how do i make my partition larger so I can install the bootcamp drivers?

Use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition. Use Disk Utility to erase free space.
For Win 7 and others you need to be considering a much larger partition size. I would recommend a minimum of 30-40GB. It depends on what you need Windows for. But my needs are such that several hundred GB are usual for my Boot Camp partitions.
Remember that just like Mac OS X, Windows needs free space for paging files and behind the scenes workspace.

Trouble installing bootcamp drivers in Windows XP

I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro and I installed Windows XP Professional SP3 on my Mac just fine but according to the Bootcamp Assistant Guide, it says while in Windows insert your Mac OS X disc to install bootcamp driver by selecting setup.exe from the bootcamp directory. First, I don't see a bootcamp directory but I did do a search and a file called setup.exe did appear. However, it then ask how I want to open the file and give option such as Internet Explorer, etc. Then I realized that although I have a gateway modem/wireless router at home that my Macbook Pro can be wire connected to and I'm alway connected to wirelessly when I'm in the Mac OS X, when I'm in the Windows XP, it doesn't recognize that I'm connect to a modem or that my Macbook Pro has internet connection in WIndows XP. As soon as I restart under MAC OSX everything comes back and I can either be connected wired or wireless.
So bascially I have a few issues going on. First clarity on how to get to the setup.exe from the bootcamp directory while in Windows XP and figuring out how to connect my current gateway modem/wireless router to my Macbook Pro while I'm in Windows XP on it.
Please can anyone help me out?

Apple recommends to only use the BootCamp Drivers they provide.
However you can tryout these Nvidia driver http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforcenotebook_winxp_185.85whql.html
Make sure to make a backup of your Windows before installing them.
Or at least make a System Restore Point.
Some people use DriverSweeper http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ to remove the 'old' drivers prior to installing the new ones.

and check your macbook,the slot where you put the speakers wire if the drivers are not install then a red light will come from it and if not then it means that the drivers are all install.

Burn bootcamp drivers for windows to a CD?

I'm posting from my PC; but on my Mac, I ran bootcamp, got windows installed ect ect.
However, I failed to make a disc of the windows drivers required for internet connection, ect on Windows.
(I DON'T HAVE A MAC OSX CD)
I realize the correct way is too put in you Mac osx CD when you get on Windows, but I do not have one.
I downloaded the bootcamp file an burned it to a cd, I must have not done it correctly; the installer opens an it says it's installing Nivida an then it just closes.
So, I'm thinking maybe I burned the CD incorrectly.
I'm running on Windows 7 32-bit.
There's gotta be a way to burn the bootcamp files required to make windows work correctly to a disc.

Windows Server 2003 is not on Apples BootCamp list of supported Windows versions http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1899
Therefor the 'automatic' setup of the Bootcamp Drivers from the OSX DVD fails.
Since in essence Win2K3 shares a lot with XP you might be able to install the drivers manually by going into the appropriate folder on the OSX DVD and start the setup 'by hand'.

It depends on the model of Mac and which version of Windows to a certain degree. It can certainly amount to more than 700MB
