How to access iCloud movies/tv shows in iTunes 11.1

The iCloud icon recently disappeared and is not showing up next to my apple ID at all so I can't access the movies/tv shows previously purchased by Apple TV or iPhone 4S to stream it to my computer. The only way is to download it and I don't want to do that. Is there any way to reestablish the connection?

Open iTunes Prefs > Store and select the option for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases."
For some reason this option seems to get unselected.

Getting Easy Access to iCloud Documents from the Mac Finder
Placing the Mobile Documents folder in the Finder window sidebar allows for quick access to files in the cloud:
From the Finder, hit Command+Shift+G to bring up the Go To Folder window, and enter the path to the user Library folder found at ~/Library/
Locate the directory titled “Mobile Documents” and drag that folder into the Finder window sidebar, or make an alias, this allows for easy access
If you poke around the “Mobile Documents” directory you’ll find another series of folders, some are named nonsensically based on GUIDs as this folder is not intended for general user access, but each one is in accordance to an application that stores documents in iCloud. Apps including Notes, TextEdit, Reminders, Mail, Keynote, and any other Mac app with iCloud support will be included.Making changes to a document that syncs with an iOS device will reflect in the appropriate app from iOS. Likewise, for any documents stored in iCloud the changes made to the folder will reflect on other Macs. I want to access my icloud mail from devices NOT my own such as work computer, travel in hotel, other persons computer. I keep getting this message that tells me to LEARN more and gives all sorts of DOWNLOADING instructions to that computer. ENDLESS loop. I am not downloading or configuring a public or work computer nor is it my device. Thanks Roger, Today I signed up to the apple support communities specifically so I could thank you. And to publically complain about what Apple did and did not do when then terminated "mobile me" in June 2012. My short story.... prior to June 2012 I had access to my personal MAC G4 computer, a family member's old IPAD and my work PC. I tired to migrate to I-Cloud but that was not possible without buying a new home computer. So next best option would be to use a browser on either my G4, or the IPAD or the PC at work to access this new "icloud" server, or whatever it is. I've been a mac user since the very first macs came to the market so I'm not a novice. I spent many hours googling and searching Mac support to find out how to access my email after they turned off mobile me. I did not find a way, so I recently bought a mac mini to hopefully get all my new and historical email back and working again. Yes, I did get back on email again using the mac mini I had to buy, so apple did OK there.
But I find it negelent, perhaps deceptive, that Apple did not provide simple instructions like you did to the mobile me users that Apple effectively kicked off their email service, which I paid for, for many years. That's very much like stealing in my opinion....Apple couldn't send me an email to the Icloud link like you provided, with instruction on how to get to my email? Rather they kept insisting that I migrate to icloud, and insisting that I had to meet computer operating system requirements that my old G4 could not meet. In my opinion they were not honest. They effectively created the preception that anyone using an older mac had to buy a new one and I think they knew what they were doing. I heard someone say that ethics cannot be taught, I agree. Thanks again Roger, I can now access my Mac Mail from alternative locations.

It doesn't matter that you have a PC and not a mac.
The method you use for deleting content from the Apple tv depends on how it was put on there.
If it was synced from itunes as a result of your sync options, then all you need to do is uncheck the content you no longer want on the Apple tv using your sync options in itunes and click apply/sync. The Apple tv will always mirror the choices you make in the sync options, so anything removed there will then be removed from the Apple tv.
If the content is on the Apple tv because you have purchased/rented it from itms directly to the Apple tv, or downloaded a podcast directly to the Apple tv then that content will display a trash can to the right of its name on the Apple tv. When the content is selected, use the FF button on the remote to navigate to the trash can icon and you will then be able to delete that content.

I'm trying to buy all my favourite movies and TV shows without downloading them, to keep them in iCloud that I can access from all my devices whenever I want, but I'm scared that iTunes will remove them from my iCloud if something happens to the contract between them and the production company. Should I worry about that?

Thank you for taking the time to explain this.
But the thing is, I don't want to download ANYTHING because I don't have storage. That's why I want to buy them and watch them through iCloud (on my Mac iTunes) without downloading.
I know that it's safer to download them. But does "safer" mean that iTunes might not let me access my purchases through iCloud?
