You have to go to icloud.com on your computer to do this, not on an iOS device such as an iPhone. Go to this site, sign into your iCloud account, then you can see your contacts and other data as well as track your device with Find My iPhone (as outlined here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0f2442).

How to access my iCloud music library on my iPhone

As a newbie to the iCloud/iMatch, I have uploaded by iTunes library to the iCloud and now wish to access my songs on my iPhone (4.5). I go to settings, turn on iMatch, then go to music and expect to see my library show up. But I get a screen that says "no content," and that I can download music from iTunes. Obviously I'm missing something basic here. How do I get my songs already in the iCloud to show up on my iPhone? Many thanks for any advice.

Thank you. I went to the store and found that I hadn't enabled automatic downloads or cellular data. When I enabled these, the music app found the iMatch material and made it available on the iphone. However, I find that when I try to actually play a song on the iphone, it takes forever to load and quits stopping on me once it starts playing. I am on Verizon, and the signal here in fairly strong for email and basic internet stuff. Is this normal for downloading music off the cloud?

Well, the complete icloud.com website should be accessible from both Computer and iOS devices
There are many things you can do only in the web interface as:
- set up holiday message
- reset photostream
- share calendars
- setup auto-forward
- manage aliases
- manage rules
- manage email folders
iOS devices claim they will replace home computers but it is still far from reality
My guess is that Apple is trying to progressively integrate its online services in "packaged" applications and eliminate usage of web browsers that are difficult to trace and to control

How To Access Wifes icloud.

All our music is in there.
She was able to sinc my old ip3GS, to her icloud, I had no cloud or Apple ID.
We recently upgraded to the ip4S and now, I also have an Apple ID and we are having trouble accessing her cloud.
Question;
Can I access the music on her cloud with my phone?
Or
Can we transfer between clouds?
If so, how?
Or
Should I terminate my Apple account and share the icloud as before? (I only have the phone)

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can continue to use separate ID's for iCloud so that you each have your own mail, notes, calendars etc. But if you use her ID for iTunes, you will be able to share her music.

I know that Google and Apple (and by extension Android and iOS) are competing hard for all of us techie music lovers out there who use both ecosytems. Well, Google Play wants to have my entire music library, Apple's ever at the ready with iTunes/iCloud/Match, and now I've even gotten solicitations from Amazon which has a "Cloud MP3 Player" with purchases ready to download that I made from Amazon in 2010, before I ever dreamed of getting MP3 files instead of a physical CD. I mean the liner notes had the lyrics to the songs right? Well, I enjoy looking at lyrics. Anyways, . . .

Yes, one solution is to use both Google's and Apple's services and just duplicate everything everywhere. But, I'd just like to settle on iTunes/iCloud solution, but I have a brand new Android phone that I want to use. The iPhone 5 screen doesn't come close to my Motorola Droid RAZR Max HD! :-) Sorry, all you iPhone folks. You have all the app's., so I have to latch on to somethine for a reason why I stayed with Android!

Apple is pretty much the only one who does not support other platforms and it will be their downfall in the future. I have bought a few hundred tracks (and one movie) from iTunes before the competition started to catch up. Their Cloud service just came into Finland but I've already moved on to others. I've also bought music from Spotify, Nokia Music and Xbox Music. I've been a subscriber of Nokia Music, Xbox Music and now Google Music. I'm also a Netflix subscriber and I have a local IPTV service that also provides movie rentals from various providers - and guess what, they also work on all platforms.
The reality is that today was the first time in a long long time that I've actually even bothered to open iTunes. Lack of platform support will destroy iTunes in the long run. Apple is starting to look like Microsoft once did. Today you can even get Office for almost every platform - even mobile devices.
Limited access and/or features is also one of the biggest reasons that turn people away from legit services. DRM protected music was the reason I had over 20,000 MP3s before it was removed from iTunes. When that happened I deleted all the old files and became a honest, paying customer.

I've been a long time apple-users : In my household I have 3 macbook pro's - an old Cube G4 with cinema display, Airport extreme + airport express'es + apple tv + ipod nano, ipod touch V and ipod classic and a number of magic-mouses, bluetooth keyboards, ... So I've spent more than 12000 euro's on apple stuff.
For me an Iphone is just way too expensive FOR MY USE (occasional telephone call(I have a prepaid sim and I spend 15€ -25€ every 3-4 months on calls), I never check my email when away from home (wouldn't know what for), hardly ever on internet when on the go, ...). They have no offering to my taste.
So yes, I got myself a 'cheap' 330€ unlocked LG G2 from the sales. That to me is the maximum I think I will ever pay for a phone. Is it as good, better or worse than IOS ? It's in some domains better, in some very much as good and in others domains it's worse than IOS. Let's say it's different but not that different to be ignored or frowned upon.

Hi Friend,
iMessages and text messages just can be saved by backup in iTunes. There is any other way to get your messages from your old iPhone to the new one otherwise. So sync your old iPhone with iTunes, create a backup, then unplug it and sync the new iPhone wtih iTunes and take the backup created. Later, check if you got what you need.
PS.: you can't print the messages from iPhone.

I have iCloud turned on, location services on, find my phone works but when I try to access iCloud via Safari on the phone it takes me to a page Apple.com,
iCloud then three options
set up iCloud on my phone (i have)
Install Find my phone, it is installed and it works from my MBP
or install find my friends, I don't need that I have no friends.
my calendars and contacts and bookmarks and all are all sync'd and working on the phone, but i thought if I typed in iCloud.com on the phone in Safari I would go to my iCloud web page that looks like this on my Mac.
Is that NOT how iCloud should/would look on my phone via Safari?
This is maybe a dumb question after 3+ year of iPhone'ing

I've been playing with a Galaxy here at work and here's what I've found so far - please feel free to jump in and suggest alternative methods to configure or access the various icloud components.
So the original Q: Can you access your icloud account on Android?
Not entirely: the website can't be used from an android browser (not properly - even with Dolphin HD and posing as different browsers it won't load correctly. So Find my iphone is out, so is the address book or looking at your e-mail or calendar just in a browser window
I was able to setup my e-mail using the IMAP settings published here:

Be sure to setup the account manually - and note if you have trouble using SSL try TLS (that worked for me)
Address book is a no go so you'll have to use iTunes to sync all your contacts over to Gmail - if you still have an iPad it means managing contacts in two places though . iWork is an Apple proprietary bit so don't expect much there.
So in my case, if I'm really going to make the switch to a Galaxy from my iPhone it really means I'm going to have to switch to using google as the backend. The timing to swap over to a galaxy/android phone is not the greatest - given that I'd have to give up my Apple addiction (syncing photos and itunes and losing access to my device tracking). Plus I still have an iPad and a mac and like living in the Apple ecosystem. I think I'll wait and see what the new iPhone looks like before I commit

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.
