How to access "SOLD TO" in IPCPriceCalculatorCRM.java

Hi,
I am extending the class "IPCPriceCalculatorCRM.java" and calling the method fillIPCItemProperties(List<CatalogItem> items,String bpGuid, String bpId).
But the values when checked for bpguid and bpid are same and is actually the incorrect bpguid value truncated to 10 characters. ..resulting in a in correct "Sold To" value.
Could you please help on this issue?
Thanks!

Hi Kandala,
As I looked into this method (fillIPCItemProperties), I found the below paramters with soldToGuid. Can you please check the method again.
protected void fillIPCItemProperties(CatalogItem catalogItem,IPCItemProperties ipcItemProperties,String soldToGuid) throws BusinessObjectException
Thanks,

Hello Experts,
Currently, I have a project where in I have to access a ,NET web service. It is made of C#. I just want to ask how will I start the accessing process? I made this simple equation on how my project is.
Java Project + C#.Net Web Service = Integration
1. Do i need to create a Web Service too for the Java Project? If yes, What are the necessary tools needed for the creation of this Java Web Service?
2. The .NET Web Service is available online. (It is made by other people).
3. Based on the equation, what is the equivalent technology for the + sign?
4. Can you site a concrete example for accessing a web service?
5. I'm new here. Totally I have no idea where to start.
6. Thank you experts.

Hello
Thanks a lot for your help ...
I am developing simple J2EE based web service client using IBM WSAD 5.1. I have used the following code to call .asmx web service in Java
String url = "http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/tempconvert.asmx?wsdl";
String namespace = "http://tempuri.org/";
name = request.getParameter("txtName");
try
System.out.println("In Internet Service");
ServiceFactory factory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
Service serv = factory.createService(new URL(url),new QName(namespace,"TempConvert"));
System.out.println("Got Service......");
Call obj = (Call)serv.createCall();
System.out.println("Got Call......");
obj.setProperty(Call.ENCODINGSTYLE_URI_PROPERTY,"");
obj.setProperty(Call.OPERATION_STYLE_PROPERTY,"wrapped");
obj.setTargetEndpointAddress(url);
obj.setPortTypeName(new QName(namespace,"TempConvertSoap"));
obj.setOperationName(new QName(namespace,"FahrenheitToCelsius"));
obj.addParameter("param1",XMLType.XSD_STRING,String.class,ParameterMode.IN);
obj.setReturnType(XMLType.XSD_STRING);
System.out.println("Parameters Set.....");
Object[] params = new Object[]{name};
k = (String)obj.invoke(params);
System.out.println("Result: "+k);
catch(Exception e)
System.out.println("Exception is : "+e);
}But this code is throwing exception that

• How to access the data stored in Java tables in E-Commerce 7.0

For the CRM E-Commerce 7.0 Web shop all the data related order templates, Shop Id and catalog variants are not getting stored in CRM tables. Can anyone please let us know where all the details are getting stored.
By searching here, in SDN Forum we found that these details are getting stored in some java tables. If this is true kindly let us know the following points.
1). How can we access these tables.
2).Where these java tables are stored .
3).Do we have authorizations to check and modify these tables.
4).If we donu2019t have authorizations to check and modify these tables, how can we get the access to them.
4).How can we write Database Queries to retrieve the data from these tables.

I am afraid, all these three entities are in CRM tables.
Web Shops - Function module CRM_ISA_SHOP_GETLIST, Table crmm_isa_shop_h
Catalog Variants - Function module - COM_PRDCAT_GET_VARIANTS (they are also stored in CRM tables) for a given catalog.
Now for the Order Templates - They are technically order objects with system status set to "Order Template" I1034. You should be able to see them in CRM tables alongwith other orders... crmd_orderadm_h and etc...

The only way to pass values between JavaScript and JSP is through cookies. It sucks, I know, but right now that is the only option.
You already are creating a cookie in JavaScript. So go ahead and read it in Java:
Cookie[] cookies = request.getCookies();
for(int i = 0; i < cookies.length; i++) {
Cookie c = cookies;
if (c.getName().equals("un")) {
// Do what you need here.

• How to access C/C++ functions in Java using existing .dll library

Hi JNI Guru's,
I am having well written API in C/C++.This C/C++ files are made into *.dll files.The api are working fine.
I wan't access the C/C++ api functions in Java., just using System.LoadLibrary("*.dll").Is it possible.I kindly request you to suggest some examples and how to do this.
Its Urgent !.
Thanks and Regards,
V K LAL

In general you cannot simply access dlls that have already been written. The DLLs called using JNI must conform to JNI calling standards.
This means you will probably have to write one or more "wrapper" dlls which a) provide the correct JNI interface, and b) call the existing dlls.
There are some programs around that claim to be able to generate such wrappers. Try a google search for "wrapper", "jni", "generate".
The JNI tutorial covers creating wrappers.

• How-to access username and password protected Java EE Web services from ADF

The title of this post is exactly the same as this article by Frank Nimphius:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/howtos/1013/protectedws/access_protected_web_services_from_adf.htm
The article addresses the problem of securing web services using usernames and passwords, when those web services are accessed through a proxy or a data control. In the examples, the user names and passwords are specified, whether in the code or the definition of data controls. (SKING/SKING).
In a very common scenario, users login to reach a page, for example, A.jspx, which contains a button that calls a web service, for example displayDate. Suppose that user has logged in by username/pass of (AHUNOLD/AHUNOLD) and AHUNOLD has access to the service and the page. Is there any way to pass the logged in user name and password to the webservice ? Of course we can hard-code the username in the data control definition or proxy code, but this is just one of the thousands of users who have access to the service and the authentication is not dynamic this way.
Hope my question is clear. Wishing you all a great Christmas.
Farbod

Hi Frank, and happy new year.
Are you implying that it couldn't be done declaratively? What is your suggestion for this problem? You know the problem... As I described:
- I need to secure my web services, so when exposed, no one from inside network or the internet, can access the web service without proper permission
- The web services are shown as web controls on jspx pages. The user has logged in before reaching the page. It is irrelevant to ask him to enter user name and password again.
- I have user names, passwords and roles in Oracle Internet Directory (Identity Management). It provides some APIs and I can retrieve the usernames and attempt logging in programmically. But how can I get username and password from the session in ADF application?
I guess using SAML or certificate could be the solution, but I have a problem with SAML, described here:
Re: Webservices Security, SAML, and Identity Management (OID)

• How to access SAP database tables with Java (Jco)

Hi!
I need to develop a Java Client for SAP with access to the SAP database. Is there a way to do this directly in Java (the db access) or do I have to use some ABAP logic in between to get the information to the java client? If so, are there any existing ABAP functions to read AND write db tables? Or do I have to create my own wrappers for each table I need to read and write?

Hi,
1) put .properties file to your packege under src\packages folder (src\packages\com\sdn\properties\jco.properties)
2) load property:
final InputStream is = getClass().getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("com/sdn/properties/jco.properties");
final Properties properties = new Properties();
try
properties.load(is);

• Access BAPIs Using the SAP Java Resource Adapter

Hi experts,
Can someone tell me how to Access BAPIs Using the SAP Java Resource Adapter?

hi Shweta,
Please refer the step by step procedure:
1. Start the deploy tool of the SAP J2EE Application Server with the DeployTool.bat in the directory //<SAP J2EE Engine Installation Directory/.../j2ee/deploying.
2. Choose Project → New Project and enter a name for the new project.
3. Click on the Deployer tab.
4. From the menu path, choose Deploy → EAR → Load Module and select the sapjra.rar file.
5. For the newly created node sapjra.rar, choose Server Settings → Identity Subjects and select Caller Impersonation as authentication type, so that the J2EE user data is used to log on to the ABAP system.
6. Make sure that the J2EE Application Server is running. Connect to the J2EE Application Server with Deploy → Connect.
7. Deploy the sapjra.rar using the menu Deploy → Deployment → Deploy Module.
8. Enter SAPJRADemo as application name and start the application.
9. Close the deploy tool.
10. Start the Visual Administrator again.
11. Select the Cluster tab and switch to <Server Node> → Services → Connector Container.
12. Click on the Runtime tab and choose sap.com/SAPJRADemo → eis/SAPJRADemoFactory.
13. Choose Managed Connection Factory → Properties. On this page, you need to specify the logon data for the ABAP system. There is already some dummy data visible in the property list if no real system data has been specified so far.
14. To change the value of a property, select the property in the list, change the value underneath it, and add the changes using the Add button. At the end, do not forget to save all changes by pressing the button Save Changes. The user configured for the SAP JRA must be the user authorized to read metadata of function modules.

To send the command to the modem :
