How to Access Website emails?

When I used to subscribe to MSN but would use other browsers because I liked them better and went to a website that had "click here to email us," I would have to restart the computer and reopen in MSN to access the email.
Now I subscribe to Vonage, so when my computer is on, it is ALWAYS online. I unsubscribed from MSN, so now whenever I go to one of these websites, this stupid soccer ball comes up demanding my password, then of course won't give me the email address.
How can I get around this and be able to directly access email addresses displayed on websites in this form? Thanks very much for any information or advice.

In my case, I use AOL mail application, but in OS X I have the mail application set to "point" to the AOL mail server. I did this quite sometime ago, so my recollection of the steps is fuzzy. When I click an "mail us" button, the OS X mail application opens and accesses AOL mail through the web.

Somehow I got it to work, a whole lot easier than i thought, kind of scary how easy... but Im not exactly sure what of several things is how I got it. Scariest thing; watching my iBook I wouldn't know that I was accessing it from the MB. It's only me doing it, but still seems so easy.

Depending on when you originally set up your Apple ID, you may have @mac.com, @me.com, and @icloud.com email addresses associated with your account, but all mail sent to those addresses should still come in to the same iCloud account (you can test this to make sure by sending yourself emails at those addresses). We need some more information to understand your problem. On the other computers are you using Thunderbird? Are the account settings the same on each computer? Are you using IMAP or POP? Tell me about 123 reg. Is that your ISP (mail provider)?

Thanks Roger, Today I signed up to the apple support communities specifically so I could thank you. And to publically complain about what Apple did and did not do when then terminated "mobile me" in June 2012. My short story.... prior to June 2012 I had access to my personal MAC G4 computer, a family member's old IPAD and my work PC. I tired to migrate to I-Cloud but that was not possible without buying a new home computer. So next best option would be to use a browser on either my G4, or the IPAD or the PC at work to access this new "icloud" server, or whatever it is. I've been a mac user since the very first macs came to the market so I'm not a novice. I spent many hours googling and searching Mac support to find out how to access my email after they turned off mobile me. I did not find a way, so I recently bought a mac mini to hopefully get all my new and historical email back and working again. Yes, I did get back on email again using the mac mini I had to buy, so apple did OK there.
But I find it negelent, perhaps deceptive, that Apple did not provide simple instructions like you did to the mobile me users that Apple effectively kicked off their email service, which I paid for, for many years. That's very much like stealing in my opinion....Apple couldn't send me an email to the Icloud link like you provided, with instruction on how to get to my email? Rather they kept insisting that I migrate to icloud, and insisting that I had to meet computer operating system requirements that my old G4 could not meet. In my opinion they were not honest. They effectively created the preception that anyone using an older mac had to buy a new one and I think they knew what they were doing. I heard someone say that ethics cannot be taught, I agree. Thanks again Roger, I can now access my Mac Mail from alternative locations.

It sounds like you have a security issue there. The agilent instrument driver that you are using requires access to some files that are restricted to Administrators on that machine. What you need to do is to give everyone full access to the instruments' driver directory. For example, if you are using LabVIEW, this will be in /labview/instr.lib. You will have to right click on the directory if you are in the Windows environment, choose properties and in the security tab, give Every One full access to the directory.

Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc.

How can i access an email account on TB from a separate computer without deleting/modifying how the other account is setup

I want to be able to access another email account that is set up as a POP account on TB, but I do not want to modify how the other email account is set up. My co-worker and I often need to access each others emails. Is it simply a matter of adding the email account on my computer as a POP, without moving his emails? Or would this require changing his account to IMAP? When i set up his TB account, I made it a POP so there are no messages on the server at the moment. What I don't want is for his emails to move from his computer to mine.
(He's new to TB and that would drive him crazy - I already did that when I switched him from Outlook)

Yes. And make sure to check the option to leave messages on the server prior to accessing the account.
Having said that, I think it is a very bad idea to share an account that way.
Note that this will give you permanent access to your co-worker's account.
In addition you're not only storing your own messages on your computer, but also all your co-worker's messages.
The same is true for him if he does the same.

How do I access multiple email accounts

I just got my Bionic a few days ago and have set up multiple email accounts (work, gmail, yahoo). When I click the "email" icon only one account appears. I can't seem to find the inbox, etc for any of the other accounts. The only time I can find those messages is when a new message comes in and I get notified of it. Then I can catch the other messages.

Firefox doesn't do email, so there are no "Firefox email accounts". If you are accessing "email" with Firefox, you are using web mail. Some web mail services don't allow for direct access, they want their users to access their email from a "portal" or "main" page and will re-direct any attempt to load an "internal" web site page back to the main page.
As far as loading 3 different web mail accounts at the same time, if they are in the same domain it won't work on Firefox without a Firefox addon. http://br.mozdev.org/multifox/
IOW, if those three email accounts all with Yahoo, without that add-on you would have to logon to each email account separately and log out of the first before logging into the 2nd. Then log out of the 2nd before logging into the 3rd. Firefox isn't capable of having multiple session cookies for simultaneous logon's to the same server. That add-on provides that "multiple sessions cookies" feature.

I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!"

How do I access iCloud email from a browser on a Mac?

I am trying to access iCloud email from a borrowed Mac. I don't want to set up my iCloud account on this Mac since it's not mine. My understanding is you can access iCloud via a browser, but when I sign into iCloud I am prompted to set up iCloud on the device, which is exactly what I do not want to do. This was using "mail.icloud.com" which was my best guess at a URL. I know iCloud email cannot be accessed via a browser on iPads, etc., but it should be accessible on Macs via browser from what I have read.
Anyone know how to do this? Am I using the wrong URL?

Well, the good news is I have the URL correct.
But regardless of whether I use http://icloud.com or http://mail.icloud.com, I still get prompted with a dialog box which says the following:
"Setup iCloud on a device to use iCloud.com"
If I click "Close" I end up back up at the sign in screen and have to enter my username/password again.
If I click "Learn More", my only other choice, I end up on some sort of help page that tells me how to set up iCloud on this device. Which is precisely what I don't want to do. I just want to access a webmail page like, for example, gmail.
I don't see any "Mail" icon there.
