How to accomplish??

On our page, we send users to another company to register for
classes (we
have no control over that)...
The company uses a redirector, I assume to assign a ID number
in the URL.
On our page, I have to manually add this ID into our link,
otherwise it
shows the name of the last person who registered online.....
kind of a pain.
I was thinking there would be a way to check to see if the
number I have in
the ID field is different than the one used on the company's
registration
website, and if it is, use that ID number instead of what I
have.
The problem is I don't see a way to capture that info using
something like
CFHTTP.....
Any ideas??

thanks for the reply. I've tried upnp and it doesn't give me NAT type: open for both machines. the game consoles (one PS3, one Xbox 360) are wired, not wireless if that makes a difference.
In any case, for now I just use them one at a time and have the same static IP for both, and DMZ to that IP.

Bookmark folders that you created are in the Bookmarks Menu folder. "Sort" that folder.

Macs don't come bundled with iDVD anymore. If you have an older Mac that came with an iLife disk, you can install iDVD from that.
If your Mac didn't come with iDVD, you can still find iLife '11 disks in some stores.
There are other programs that can create DVDs, but I've never used them. From what I've heard, they're not as good as iDVD.

Writing equations in words, how to accomplish

I want to express a number of equations on words, as opposed to symbols.
Since the word descriptions are often six words or more I'm looking for a solution in PAGES that allows me to create what are essentially text boxes side by side. Then of course this has to be done for numerator and denominator so that we get N/D.
I tried using text boxes inside text boxes but pages doesn't appear to support TBs inside TBs.
If anyone has solved this problem within PAGES I'd be grateful for suggestions.
My only other thought on how to do this is to create an image in Pixalmator or similar program and then insert the whole image into PAGES.

SIT (Separated In Time) - how to accomplish ?

Hi there,
I have a task of creating a mirror system to our production system.
This is needed to rehearse deployments prior to deploying to production and also as a backup system to which we could switch in a DR situation.
The SIT system should receive all the messages the production system receives, it should process them and send to locations simulating our partners.
Creating a BizTalk cluster is not a big issue, I'm just struggling on figuring out how to make the other system receive all the same messages and not on the second day from the backup, but on the same moment or perhaps mili/seconds later.

So, basically, you want a live copy of PROD for testing.
There's lots of ways to accomplish this depending on many, many factors.
Do you really need all messages, or just certain apps/message flows?
What capability to upstream apps or transports have to duplicate or broadcast messages?
Is this constant live or can you bake a new test kit just for the testing cycle.
For example, at one site, we accomplished something similar by having WMQ and MSMQ copy messages to two queues, one real PROD, one TEST/QA. But not many other transports can do that.

How to accomplish a motion keyframe move across several clips?

I'm very familiar with how you acheive motion moves within one clip in
the timeline.
However, I can't figure out how to make two of three consequtive clips
make one continous motion move.
For instance, lets say I have three still digital images, 5 second each, in the timeline, one after another. I want the first still to start at 50% size and want a continuous growth to 100% at the end of the third clip. I know how'd I'd do
this within one clip (a motion keyframe of 50% at the head of the clip and a 100% keyframe at the end of the clip.
But how do you make one smooth continuous move across several clips in a row? I realize I could take those three clips, export them out as a quicktime and bring them back in as one clip, but that seems a long way to go everytime you want to do this. And if I nest the three clips, when I go to doubleclick them back to the viewer to add the keyframes, the nest just opens up again into it's own sequence.
So how is this accomplished?

Open Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Click the plus sign and enter the information
If you mean you want to add an alias to your iCloud mail account:

Create two logical tables from the same physical table source, in the content tab of the logical table source1 enter the condition year=2010 and for logical table source1 enter year-2011 in the where clause section. Then drag that logical table into into presentation and rest of the operations are as usual

How to accomplish the glowing eye effect?

Hello fellow Motion 5 folks. A Motion noob here. How do I get the glowing eye effect similar to what was done here:

I tried searching all over the net for tutorials in doing this but came out empty handed. Most of them were for After Effects which I do not use. Anyway if someone could tell me how to do it or at least point me towards a link of a tutorial or a book that could get me up to speed on this effect, that would be great. TIA!

Here's an outline for how to do this effect, it should get you close enough to do what you need. BTW, this is how I would approach it, that doesn't mean it's the only way. You will need to be familiar with:
Motion Tracking
Bezier Shapes
Blend Modes
Keyframing & Animation
If you haven't already, check out the Motion user manual sections on these topics, they go into deeper details than I'll give here for how to use and control things.
-Use the Analyze Motion behavior to track the eyes. If you plan to do mimic what's happening in the example video, I'd do a reverse track since the eyes start out closed. Track each eye, and then go back and clean errors in the track if needed.
- Once you have the tracking done, use the shape tool and create a bezier shape for each eye. Make the shapes fit as close to to the border of the eye and eyelid as possible.
-Apply a match move behavior to each shape and reference the Analyze Motion behavior. The shapes should now be tracking to the eyes., but depending on the camera movement, head movement, or blinking, the shapes won't always match, we'll fix that next.
-Turn on animation recording, and at the first frame and the last frame, adjust the bezier shapes to fit the eye, this will give you the start and end points for the shape animation. Now go through the shot and look for "extreme" movements,( the end of head turns or tilts, blinks, etc). Continue to adjust the shapes to fit, but not on every frame. Try not to create too many keyframes so you get a smooth animation. At this point, you are basically rotoscoping the shape. While doing this I usually turn off the layer, so you just see the shape outline and control points. Turn off the animation recording when done.
-For each eye, change the shape color to blue, red, green, whatever you want the main glow color to be. This will create the foundation shading like your example clip (blue edge glow glow). Go to the Blend mode for the layer and change it to Add or Screen.
-Duplicate the layer, change the top copy to a lighter version of the original color, or almost white. Don't use white, that will limit control for later steps. Change the blend mode to Screen.
(Here's where things get fun)
-Add a blur or feather the shape for the bottom, darker colored layer. As I mentioned previously, this is what will primarily affect the color part of the glow.
-Now you can continue to duplciate either the colored or light shape layers and play with the blur or feather to adjust and build up the glow. When set to Add or Screen, each layer will make the overall appearance brighter. Here are a few additional suggestions possibilities to play with.
-If you want the pupils still visible, use screen and adjust the brightness of the color, or opacity of each layer.
-Use different amounts of blur or feather for each shape layer. As I rule of thumb, I always use at least 3 layers for glows. Just don't go to heavy, remember, subtle always looks better.
-Try slight variations in color and brightness for each shape.
-Have fun experimenting!

Baltwo or anyone that can assist, You seem to give clear cut advise...can you help a complete newbie, less than 60 days with a 15.4 Mac ProBook, Core 2 Duo, Tiger OS X 10.4.10 I need to run dual OS systems most comfortable with Windows XP Professional. I'm a college student at 45 years old and don't have time to waste in the middle of semester. I've downloaded Word for Mac that has excell, and power point but I still have to use a thumbdrive to transfer files to my desktop Windows XP to print the darn papers. I'll like to get the software that helps me to run Windows XP Pro smoothly. Do I need to purchase Boot Camp and VIfusion both or does my Mac already have Boot Camp on it. If so how do I confirm if it has it or not. Please advise b/c this is what I think I need to do: Verify if I have Boot Camp on Mac, if not purchase Boot Camp and VIfusion to run new version of Windows XP Pro since old version won't work...I know a waste of money buying the new Microsoft word for Mac within 60 days only to have to upgrade already to use XP. I do not want to go to Vista...heard too many headaches with the system from my professors alone. I am really ignorant to the Mac but my daughter is studying Graphis Design and I am into photography and hopefully, I will be able to use my Mac for the photoshop/InDesign etc., but right this minute I need some good advice. I also can get a good discount through the university so it can save me some money. I also didn't know if I should update to Leopard and if it is necessary or just another OS like Vista is to XP. AFAIK Boot Camp beta no longer works with Tiger. It is bundled with Leopard: or you could investigate Parallels which is a more convenient solution than Boot Camp since you don't need to reboot to use it.
Put Norton AV on the Windows side by all means but don't install the Mac version - it's been known to cause problems.
Leopard is not 'necessary' but it has some interesting new facilities (and a lot of eye candy). Have a look at the Apple Site to see whether you think the extra facilities are worth having. It might in any case be worth waiting for a while for the early bugs to be ironed out (do you iron a bug?). Parallels will run under Tiger.

Forms Personalization..How to accomplish this case?

Go to Payables Manager Responsibility>Suppliers>Entry>Query any supplier here and then go to Sites>Go to Control Tab (under Sites)>Here you will see a checkbox Hold All Payments
My requirement is I want to default this “Hold all Payments”-flag to “Yes” upon creation of a new supplier site. This default must be manually overridable. I know I can do this using Forms Personalization, but I am not getting the exact way to write so as to perform this function as I am new to this field. Please help me! Any reply will be highly appreciated.

How to accomplish Revenue and Cost forecasting in Oracle?

We are implementing Oracle Rel 11.5.10. and have a specific business requirement for Revenue and Cost Forecasting.
We have Projects integrated with OM using custom extensions (We are not using Project Manufacturing). Revenue is based on scheduled shipment dates and Cost is based on PO Promise Dates. Both Revenue and Cost are forecasted for 2 quarters and are rolled up on revenue category level. When Scheduled shipment date changes it is required to automatically forecast the revenue in the period scheduled ship date falls into. We understand that out of the box functionality does not support roll up of forecast at revenue category level which leads to displaying budgets, commitments and atuals in different lines. Has any one done this in any of there client engagements? Can anyone explain how Revenue and Cost forecasting is done in a High tech Network Equipment manufacturer which usies Projects.

You might have a program that reads the scheduled shipment date from OM and generate budget lines for revenue.
You might have a program that reads the PO Promise date from Purchasing, and generate budget lines for costs.
You could integrate those sources and generate a new version of forecast every time you need to update your plans in Oracle Projects.

The only way to prevent such loss is with a robust backup system. Apple provide TimeMachine as part of OS X. Connect an external hard drive to your computer and off you go. hourly, daily backups. I have recovered more than one computer this way,
As far as photos goes I use this approach:
1) Time Machine
2) a offsite copy of the picture folder from my user (I literally copy the picture folder to a separate, non-Time machine drive and relocate that drive in my desk drawer at work). I bring the offsite drive home every coupe months it refresh.
Numbers will not do a good job for this task (in my opinion) and will not facilitate metadata stored in the pictures. On bad thing happens in the number file and all your pictures are gone. In addition if you were to select the menu item "File > Advanced > Reduce File Size..." and, "BAM!!" all your pictures would be compressed and not their original size.
iPhoto keeps every change you make to a picture so you can get the original back. What ever happened with iPhoto will be much worse with Numbers (again, in my opinion).
Really set up a Time Machine backup. the drive should cost about $100, use it.
