How to Achieve Less Fuzzy Slideshow?

Seems like it would be a simple task for iMovie or iPhoto to make a sharp hi-res photo into a (single image) slideshow
movie that doesn't look horribly fuzzy/blurry, but I haven't found a way to achieve this. I've tried many different types of export/output
settings in both apps (iPhoto is the simplest procedure), but my movie result, despite a sharp image source, is always fuzzy.
Is there a way to achieve a movie quality similar to that of the source photo?

Hard to tell why they should be fuzzy. What format are the photos?
There are many ways to produce slide shows using iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD and some limit the number of photos you can use (iDVD has a 99 chapter (slide) limitation).
If what you want is what I want, namely to be able to use high resolution photos (even 300 dpi tiff files), to pan and zoom individual photos, use a variety of transitions, to add and edit music or commentary, place text exactly where you want it, and to end up with a DVD that looks good on both your Mac and a TV - in other words end up with and end result that does not look like an old fashioned slide show from a projector - you may be interested in how I do it. You don't have to do it my way, but the following may be food for thought!
Firstly you need proper software to assemble the photos, decide on the duration of each, the transitions you want to use, and how to pan and zoom individual photos where required, and add proper titles. For this I use Photo to Movie. You can read about what it can do on their website:

(Other users here use the alternative FotoMagico: http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/homevspro/ which you may prefer - I have no experience with it.)
Neither of these are freeware, but are worth the investment if you are going to do a lot of slide shows. Read about them in detail, then decide which one you feel is best suited to your needs.
Once you have timed and arranged and manipulated the photos to your liking in Photo to Movie, it exports the file to iMovie as a DV stream. You can add music in Photo to Movie, but I prefer doing this in iMovie where it is easier to edit. You can now further edit the slide show in iMovie just as you would a movie, including adding other video clips, then send it to iDVD 7, or Toast, for burning.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how professional the results can be!

How to achieve less smoothing with brush strokes and wacom?

Is there a smoothing setting for brushes? When I draw certain shapes with sharper corners (like squares) illustrator rounds them out very excessively. I know there has to be a certain amount of smoothing to convert a stroke made by the user into a vector, but is there a way to reduce the amount. Interestingly, if I draw the shape really fast, I get the desired result, however if I draw slowly, it rounds it tremendously. I would think it would be the other way around because with a slower stroke you are giving more input points and therefore more precision but this is obviously not the case. Basically, I want to achieve brush strokes that more accurately represent my input. Thanks in advance for the help.

How do you run a slideshow with no music in new Photos app

In the new Photos app I can find no way of running a slideshow without music - either the standard themes or selecting my own music. How can I run a slideshow with no music at all? No setting, tab or option seems to be available to achieve this.

Hit top right arrow for slide show; click on Music, click button next to search; choose Theme songs, click on blue check mark to remove it, then hit PLAY SLIDESHOW.

How to achieve Incremental deployment of Code Files to different environments of windows azure using TFS and Visual Studio ?

We are new to Windows azure and are developing a web application. In the beginning of the project , we have deployed complete code using Sitefinity Thunder to different environments which actually publish complete code. But now as we are in the middle of development
, we are just required to upload any new files created which can be quite less in numbers (1 or 2 or maybe few). Now if we deploy with thunder , it publishes all files and then deploys complete code which takes good amount of time. Hence we are thinking to
attach each Azure Cloud Service which is actually a different environment like staging, UAT to a TFS branch and then just check in code from local development machine to TFS and then deploy only checked in files to azure environment linked to TFS.
I hope this possible but if you can help send some links where I can see how to achieve this , that will be helpful.
Also I would like to know whether a single cloud service can be linked to a single TFS branch or multiple cloud service can be linked to a single TFS repository? Why I am asking is – because we want to deploy a checked in files revision number to a staging
cloud service and then will test there and then if everything works well then will be required to deploy these revision files to the next cloud UAT cloud service and then production cloud service. Please help.

How to achieve this photographic slide display/navigation

I would like to know how to achieve the following:
1. Go to

a slideshow of photographs that i really love. I have very basic
knowledge of scripting ,a nd i usually achieve my goals by
modifying flas that i have seen or by following tutorials (as
opposed to writing it myself). the great thng about the above
version is taht the images slide to an exact position when you
click on the forward or back arrows, and they slow down ever so
slightly just before stopping. Can anyone point me in the right
directoin with how to achieve this, or offer a tutorial. I am
really starting from scratch, and would lik eto end up with the
same clean and professional outcome.
2. regarding the same above link, when you are at the main
site, and then you click the michael mundy' link, what is it that
happens, is it a new html popup page that opens of specified
dimensions and the embedded swf is set to stretch to maximum
width/height? or is it a lone swf that pops up (with no html page)?
or is that impossible?

I generally just use the basic feather. I draw the object with a few clicks of the pen, fill with whatever color, set the tint if desired, then use settings more or less as below.

Hello. I have slideshows on my website that are centered as I like them to be. But when I click on the thumbnail images that serve as links to open a page containing a slideshow, the image first appears at the left side of the page then quickly moves to the center. The slideshows contain images of various widths. I would like that the image appear in the center only. In the stylesheet, the slideshow styling has the following information...

My first thought was that the movement was due to the width of the slideshow being too wide. But adjusting the width according to the widest image didn't work. The widest image is 772px. I tried other selectors but they didn't work either. I would appreciate having your advice. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the information. I didn't know that about the position and z-index. I made the changes to the css as suggested. But no change happened. So I tried changing the following in my html code so that it would be the same as malsup's sample for comparison...

The first image slide still loaded from the left and then centered on the page. Then the image slides scrolled along the page from right to left. I then saw that Malsup has the example showing towards the bottom of its webpage. After decreasing the window size, I saw that the first image appears very quickly from the lower left and then to the center as does mine except on a smaller scale. I've come to the conclusion that this is a normal action for the javascipt function. But would it be too much to ask if this could be less noticeable?   Also, when I made the changes to my slideshow to scroll, I noticed that as the image slides scrolled out of the slideshow, they extended beyond the slideshow border and even the container div. I notice that this doesn't happen in the malsup example. Malsup's image slides are not visible beyond the edge of the background color. How can I have my slideshow images stop at the edge of the slideshow background color also? I greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you very much.

I've a WebTemplate contains 2 Graphs. Each graph have one Zoom Button. My requirement is, When I click the Zoom button that corresponding Grpah should display in a New Window. I've finished all the above requirements.
Since, I have One Mandatory field, I'm always getting the Variable Screen in a New Window while I clik the Zoom Button.
I need to avoid this "Rerun" feature in New Window.
Kindly suggest me how to achieve this..

Even I'm also trying for the same scenario only.
Actually I have 2 Web Templates.
In First Template I have 2 Charts and 2 Zoom buttons for each.
While I running the 1 Template, i give an Value in the Variable screen of First Web Template.
If I click a Zoom button of 1st Chart, It should open a New window with the Second Web Template. And Second Web Template should automatically take a First Template's Variable screen Values.
(Since, U have an Mandatory field in Second Template u were not faced this requirment.)
Even I tried with "TRANSFER_STATE". It is not taking the First Variable Screen's input values.
Kindly help me in this issue.

Hi,
Normally when we do GR we take the cenvat credit by capturing & posting the excise invoice.
This can be done using the t.codes - MIGO or J1IEX.
So when the Material doc is posted the Part 1 register gets updated with Qty received.
If we post the excise inv using either MIGO or J1IEX the Part 2 register gets updated.
Now if you have done both the above then inorder to cancel the excise inv.
1. You have to cancel the Material Doc (so system wil use the Mov type 102)
2. Now Post your excise inv using J1IEX so that your Part1 reg will be updated ( i.e you are reversing the Cenvat Credit that you have availed).
3. Finally you have to cancel the Excise inv document using J1IEX so that your Part 2 register wil be updated.
Make sure that you do the above steps as per the above sequence else system will show the error as you mentioned.

Before you can decide what to do, you have to know what you are starting with. Sony MPEG-1 files would be converted one way while DivX or WMV files would likely be handled in another. Extraneous tracks can be removed directly with QT Pro but if you don't have QT Pro then there may or may not be other work around possibilities depending on the specific audio and video compression formats in use. The best place to start would normally be to double-clic the source file in iPhoto to open it in the QT Player. When it opens in the QT Player, check the "Inspector" window to see what it says on the "Format:" lines. This will tell you the type of audio and video content you are dealing with here. Then come and tell us so we can offer some specific conversion solutions.

Export it to the Desktop using the File -> Export commad. This makes a movie of it and you can then share that.
I would caution you that as movie files are very large you might be best uploading to a sharing site or service like Dropbox and sending them a link
