How to activate 'AFS Details' Button in ME5A screen.

Hi Gurus,
This is related to AFS Material Management.
In my system the button called 'AFS Details' is missing on ME5A ( List display of Purchase Requisition) screen.
This button appeares when you run T.code ME5A after giving your selection parameter.
This button helps to show the quantity of material in Grid Level. But currently when I am executing after giving the selection parameters the button is not displayed, even from command line 'AFS Detail' is greyed out.
Can you please tell me which SPRO set up / other setting can bring back that button.

Hello Amit ,
Please try the following steps:
1) Go to transaction OLME.
2) Open Reporting -> Maintain Purchasing lists -> Scope of list.
3) Click on 'Define Scope of list'.
4) Select 'ALV' and click on Details button.
5) Select the 'AFS data' option, save and activate.

    We have a requirement to have a custom button at the summary screen(after the rule execution) "Create Opportunity", on clicking on it a new opportunity record should be created in Siebel. As we know the "Save" link calls "PolicyAutomationSaveSession" inbound web service method and saves the information in session table and we can modify the PreSession and PostSession workflows. But we are not sure how it calls the service method and where is the mapping defined.
    Can you please help me on how to add a custom button and how to invoke a workflow in siebel side to implement this requirement?
    Also is there any document which can help me to add a custom button in screen and to add the code behind the button?

    Closing a Web Determinations window is essentially the same as closing any HTML window. It involves javascript, which you would have to add to the Web Determinations templates.
    Essentially the javascript command to close a window is {{window.close}} or {{top.close}}
    For timing, you might be able to use the setTimeout function of Javascript (see: http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/met_win_settimeout.asp)
    At the risk of exposing exactly how bad my javascript skills are, I have attached a super-simple html fragment, a page that closes itself after 3 seconds. It may help you get started in the right direction. In general closing a window is a fairly dubious activity and is often not permitted by certain browsers. This html page at least works in Internet Explorer.

    Got it. Suspected that some menu option was on that prevented me from being able to activate Interval Recording. The culprit was that I had REC TYPE set to Progressive. INT REC doesn't like that. Switched to Interlace 60i and that activated INT REC. Who knew?

    We  have created surveys/questionnaires within SRM using SURVEY cockpit.  We have success now getting Surveys to go to the email address BUT when we hit the SEND Questionnaire button, nothing happens when trying to reply.
    I have located a few posts on this forum but none of them have been the answer to our problem.
    Is this an ABAP object oriented class - ABAP-OO - that needs to be assigned via UBDS/UBDC?
    If so, we are not sure the technical name for it .  Would CL_MPA_HANDLE_ALERT_REPLY happen to be one that might work?
    Any help would be immensely appreciated and points assigned.

    If we want to retrieve the survey answers from a URL rather than email, where do we have to address the configuration?  TCODES?
    Also, we want to use the web application library to populate a drop list of vendors.  Is that something you have had experience with?

  • How to activate windows screensaver in PDF full screen mode?

    Hey everyone!
    We have some PDF based product presentations that we show on plasma screens. Recently we renewed our computes and switched from Vista to Windows 7, as well as Adobe Reader 9.3 to X.
    Since this change the Windows screensaver doesn't activate when a PDF document is displayed in full screen mode.
    I've already tried to install Adobe Reader 9.3 again, but it seems that this has nothing to do with the Reader version but with Windows 7.
    Can someone please confirm this? I want to get sure this is indeed the case with Windows 7.
    The more important question is: How can I get the sceensaver running again?

    On Windows, this will be fixed in Firefox 30 (the next release, currently in [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/ beta]). In the mean-time there are apparently [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=517870#c35 workarounds].
    For Mac OS X & Linux however, this is not fixed yet.

    Maintain UserID which you want to see CIN details tab in transaction OMT3E under User Screen Reference.
    Maintain User ID   --- Under Name column
    Maintain   *          --- under Sref: column
    It should work for sure, come back in case of any problems

    I was reading the SAP HCM prformance management book and noticed that the screenshots in the book for the PHAP_CATALOG transaction has technical details next to the description for the dropdown values. For example In Status Flow Tab, Person Authorized has dropdown with Values "123000009 Appraiser", "123000010 Appraisee" etc. When I accessed my system , i see only Appraiser , Appraisee.  Is there any setting to show the details.

    Hi,
    This has to do with customizing local layout for GUI. It would affect each and every drop down. Do Alt+F12>Options>Expert tab>Controls box>check Show keys in all drop down lists>Apply

    Go to SE38 - Pass program name HINCF24Q- select - attributes - click on display - click on HR report category - click on F7 - click on CTRL+F1 - allowable selection criteria - click on F5 - add company code from the drop downs and then check.
    Once resolved close the thread as well.

    Can you please help, could you please give me so guyide lines on how to activate the GOS button in HR transactions like po13,pp01,pp02 etc. The GOS button is not visible at all in our system. I have rad various threads but they all assume that the button is visible. My requirement is activate it so that it becomes visble.
    We would like to attach .doc.xls.pdf documents against various OM objects hence the need to activate the GOS button.

    Anyway I was wondering so far if you did selected any HR object in PO13 or PP01 to make sure taht GOS button doesn't appear?  GOS button is shown only if you select an HR objects in those tcode.  (cfr the link above for screenshot).

  • WSDL Authentication - Details Button Disabled

    We are using CE 7.3 EHP1 system, I created a WSDL in BPM to start the process and deployed in CE system. This WSDL is called by an external Java Application(WebCommerce) running in different portal.
    They can import the WSDL & pass the data to it, But BPM could not start the process & fails stating (Authentication Error) which i could find in the Logs.
    But when I try to give the authentication to the webservices by navigating SOA -> Application & Scenario Communication --> Single Service Administration
    Identify my service --> Configuration --> Security --> HTTP Authentication --> Click Userid/Passwd . The Details button not enabled to give the userid and password.
    Can you please let me know how to enable the details button.

    Hi Prabhu,
    If there is no authentication for the execution of WSDL, it could be related to the special user 'SAP_BPM_Service' .
    I had faced this similar issue while triggering the BPM from a WDJ Application.
    I referred this document and assigned the UME Action:  "SAP_BPM_TRIGGER_EVENT" to SAP_BPM_Service.
    My understanding is that if there is no authentication for execution of the WSDL from another application, that implies to BPM that there is no specific user for this execution.
    So, SAP_BPM_Service executes this.
    I could be wrong and there might be some other issue here. But when my BPM did not start from another application, i tried this and it worked for me.
    You could try it too. Any help is good help at this time.
    Note: Make sure all the configurations and application communications and provider system configs are done as suggested earlier. If nothing works, then try this. It worked for me.

    This is caused by a program error.
    Solution
    Set the attribute 'Hold data' in the Screen Painter (Transaction SE51) for program SAPLMIGO in all screens. Generate the screen after you made the change. The functions are then available.
    You do not need to implement the changes manually if you import Support Packages.
    A prerequisite is that Note 303091 exists in your system.
    Manage held data
    You can use this function to hold the data you are currently entering. No documents are posted.
    To retrieve this data, choose "Goods receipt -> Held data". When retrieving the data, the held data is deleted from the overview tree.
    If you want to delete held data that is no longer required from the overview tree, you can select this data with "Goods receipt -> Held data".
    It is also possible to use held data as a reference for frequently recurring transactions, that will not be deleted after being called again.
    Caution:
    Some data cannot be held by the system and has to be re-entered after you try to retrieve it. This data includes:
    Batch classification
    Import data
    Profitability segment
    In Batch Classification, newly created selection criteria is lost if you do not post the document immediately.
