There is no need to activate the cin In the ECC 6.
But you have to activate for your fiscal year.

Please find below screen shot, based on screen shot you can activate JVA accounting for your company code.
Please follow below instruction to activate JVA.
1.If Joint Venture Accounting is installed, it is not necessarily used for all company codes. To activate JVA for a company code, it has to be switched on in FI customizing but also in JVA..
The activation is done with this transaction. For the activation it has to be decided which JV ledgers should be used. The JV standard ledger is 4A for data collection and 4B as billing ledger. Every ledger can have one transaction currency and up to two local currencies. Since FI can have up to three local currencies, JV offered also the possibility to use an additional ledger - 4C as additional data collection ledger and 4D as additional billing ledger. But this additional ledger should only be used if necessary.
2.Please check also the currencies for the JVA ledger. The currencies for the collection ledgers should be identical to the currencies for the billing ledgers (e.g. currencies for ledger 4A are equal to currencies of 4B). Also those ledger should only use the currencies delivered from FI. If an additional curreny is added to the JV ledger, please keep in mind that those currencies are converted on line level (actually from FI-SL) and those currencies might not balance per document.

Go to Tab: Industry Business Function
Select Business Function Set: ISR_RETAIL - SAP Retail
A new line will be appeared below.
Current Status will be OFF. Click within Field: Current Status. It will pop-up a list. Select "X - ON".
Important: I've read somewhere - Once Activated, cannot Roll-back.

Synchronization download allows you to synchronize inconsistent datasets on various databases. This can be controlled in time slots or can be triggered manually.
1. Creating a Request
Choose Middleware -->Data Exchange --> Synchronization --> Define Requests.
To define a new data request, choose Display --> Change and New Entries.
Enter data for the request.
In object name enter CUSTOMER_MAIN
2. Starting the Request
Choose Middleware --> Data Exchange -->Synchronization --> Synchronize Objects.
A selection screen appears. Enter the objects to be synchronized or use F4 input help to select objects. Choose Execute to start synchronizing the data.
3. Monitoring Request
Choose Middleware --> Data exchange --> Synchronization --> Monitor requests
Enter an object name or a range of object names. Use the input help or of you want to display all the objects, do not enter an object name at all. Choose Execute.

How to activate all these functionalities
Hi,
I am on ECC 6.0 but not seeing following buttons, icons or processing options. These fucntionalities are listed as availble in ECC 6.0 but not able to trace them.. Let me know how to activate and/or locate them.
1. "Felxible Specs" pushbutton on Results Recording screen
2. On Results Recoring screen menupath Extras > Transfer Log for copying Inspection Results. Under Extras I see Error Messages list and then next option is Inspector, Date and TIme but no 'Tranfer Log' oeption which is I suppose should appear in between these two options.
3. Audit management transaction
4. Stability study transaction
5. Work overview for quality inspector like a cockpit
6. Flexible reporting - QMevaluations grahic display

Implementing Business Add-Ins (BADI)
The use of object orientated code within SAP has lead to new method of enhancing standard SAP code called
Business Add-Ins or BADI's for short. Although the implementation concept is based on classes, methods and
inheritance you do not really have to understand this fully to implement a BADI. Simply think of methods
as a function module with the same import and export parameters and follow the simple instructions below.
Steps:
1. Execute Business Add-In(BADI) transaction SE18
2. Enter BADI name i.e. HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR and press the display
button
3. Select menu option Implementation->Create
4. Give implementation a name such as Z_HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR
5. You can now make any changes you require to the BADI within this
implementation, for example choose the Interface tab
6. Double click on the method you want to change, you can now enter
any code you require.
7. Please note to find out what import and export parameters a
method has got return the original BADI definition
(i.e. HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR) and double click on the method name
for example within HRPBSGB_HESA_NISR contract is a method
8. When changes have been made activate the implementation.

if you want to activate cube in business content do this steps.
1).select your data source and maintain all the things in r/3 side.
2).then come to bi side .
3).t-code rsorbct.
4).you must have an idea about your app component .i..e that app belongs to sd or mm or hr or finance .
5).if it belongs to purchasing select infoobj and select supply chain management ,select purchasing.
6).select char and key fig,drag and drop it into right side component .
7).select info provider select supply chain management and select your cube .
8).how to find cube .that is cube like 0pur_c01,c02,c03,c04 like that select any of the cube and drop in to right side component .
9).now installation part.
10).select source system top side and select your source ecc 6.0, select component and select install/activate.
11).now your cube is ready to use .create package for full,initialize ,delta.ok

My question is - how to activate this SYNP Time Stamp.. ?
- Once I activate this SYNP Time Stamp.. How do I activate this ..in SE11 or some other
TCode..

The error occurs in Release BI_CONT 703 Support Package 9.
If you require an advance correction for Support Package 9, make the following manual changes if the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is inactive in your system.
1. Use transaction RSA1 to call the Data Warehousing Workbench.
2. Check whether the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG was already activated by the compilation process the first time you called transaction RSA1. You can use transaction RSD1 to check this by entering 0TCTLSTCHG in the "InfoObject" field and choosing "Display". Proceed as follows if the InfoObject is still not active:
3. Go to BI Content activation.
4. Select "Object Types".
5. Open the "InfoObjects" tree and select "Objects".
6. Search for the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG and select it.
7. Transfer the object and activate it.
These steps activate the required component type /BI0/OITCTLSTCHG. You can check again in transaction RSD1 to ensure that the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is available as active.
