There is no built-in option to disable private browsing. You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/menu-editor/ Menu Editor] extension to remove the option to start in private browsing mode from the menus, but that is easily bypassed. For example it does not stop somebody using the keyboard shortcut to open private browsing.
Private browsing is not the only way to hide browsing details, somebody can remove records of their browsing by using clear recent history.

Is it possible to completely remove the private browsing option in Firefox? I don't like the idea of people in my family having access to all sorts of sites, undetected by anyone. If not I may have to remove Firefox completely and return to Internet Explorer. Any help on this would be good.

I feel like the MB Pro would be a better fit for me, so I wanted to exchange my Air for the Pro. But also, if I end up not liking the Pro and want to go back to an Air, would I be permitted to do so with another exchange? (all still within the 14 day window after purchase of course).
Also, are there any specifics I need to know in order to return my product and get a new one? Obvioulsy, I would be sure to remove all of my personal files, music, etc...but is there anything else I need to do?
And lastly, and im sure this question is irritating to you Mac wiz kids out there, but are the two models im comparing really all that different? Just play with each and figure out which one you want. I believe they only allow 1 exchange unless it is a defect issue. You can always return the exchanged item and rebuy what you want if they will not allow you to do multiple exchanges.
But again, you need to really figure out which one you want.

How can I install the iMac Graphics Firmware Update 2.0, if the screen is white and I can't get to the Apple menu? My computer has 5 vertical purple lines against white screen at startup before the Apple logo appears and the spinning gear...then everything disappears and the screen hangs on the white screen. I have tried unplugging and removing all my peripherals and the COMMAND, OPTION, P & R set of keys and still nothing. I have tried COMMAND C to start up from cd and it only tells me to turn off the computer and turn it back on. I found information on Apple's Support pages regarding the iMac Graphics Firmware Update but I am unable to download and install if I can't get to the Apple menu. Can anyone help?

You may have hardware problem, I think a visit to your local Apple Store or AASP is in order.

You can disable or remove that button, but that won't prevent users from making the changes on the about:config page directly.<br />
You can lock the related network.proxy prefs if you do not want users to change the connection settings.

A new programme has installed a button on the navigation bar that I can't remove by the usual method

I recently installed freemake video converter. It has put a button on the navigation toolbar which I can't remove by the usual drag and drop method customising toolbars. It has taken the place of my bookmarks button at the right hand side of the navigation toolbar.

You can't remove it by drag and drop in customize toolbars because it is only for Firefox components, not 3rd party extensions.
I am sorry, either you need to un-install the extension using the Add-ons Manager or contact Freemake. You can also look out if you can disable that button by going to Add-ons manager and selecting Options button FOR Freemake extension.

You can follow these links to get the result that you want. You can get the desired result either using the custom list or a site map. Please make sure when you edit the master page, dont work on the original v4.master. Always make a a copy and then work
on it.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking, but you can view the purchase history on your account (and view your payment method) on your computer's iTunes : if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. On your iPad you can only see a cut-down version via this page (which also allows you to contact iTunes Support if you have a problem with a purchase) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
