I am configuring a system for a small office with 504g and uc320, on 504g, I press the vmail button, enter the option for recording message for different senarios, like " out of office", " I am busy", ...." greetings", now the question is how I activating any messages as I wanted with spa 504g, I can only use "greeting.." messages now, it must be a default message..

Hi Rex,
The 'Temporary greeting' is just that a temporary greeting. Typically, people will use it to indicate they are out of the office and when they will return. When the user returns to the office, they delete the message then the standard 'Unavailable" message. Unfortunately, there is a bug and the 'Busy' greeting is never used.
As long as the 'Temporary Greeting' exists that is the greeting the user will hear. If the customer requires more advanced features from voicemail then perhaps they should look at the UC500 series.

I'm also told that if you run the desktop Skype and the Windows Store Skype App they interfere with one another. Not cool-4-cats or any other mammal for that matter.
Why are Microsoft destroying the Skype Client? It's rubbish. I did expect that they were focusing on a great Store App experience but they appear to be using the same no-hoper developers there too. Has anyone tried the Lync integration with Skype. I'm perfectly happy to use Lync if that works reliably but right now nothing I try is robust. There are garbled voice messages using the Skpe Desktop Client, no voice messages using the Win 8 Store App, 50% hit rate of, paid for, Skype SMS messages that are actually delivered, no definable ringing speaker or ring on all speaker option using the Windows Store client, Tools -> Options - > Audio settings Ringing defaults to 'Use selected speaker' randomly after I specify an explicit speaker and Ring on all Speakers option was dropped in version 6 of the Skype Desktop Client.
This is some of the dumbed stuff I've ever struck in my 30 years of using Microsoft Software. What on earth is going on at Skype? Are they completely disfunctional or are they trying to sabotage the Skype Client to make is completely unusable for some reason? Please explain.

Hi, I started out by purchasing Skype Credit. Before running out of Skype Credit, I decided to purchase the unlimited calling with a fixed monthly rate. However, the Skype Credit remained on my account despite having an unilimted subscription.
Now, I decided to purchase a Skype number. Then, I tried to activate the Voice Messaging feature so my callers can leave me a message if I don't pick up. However, when setting up the VM, it was saying I have a low credit and that I need to replenish my credits before I could proceed. But the thing is, I now have an unlimited subscription so I don't really need to buy Skype credits any longer. My question is why am still being told that my credits are low and that I have to buy more credits.
Please help. I was hoping I could speak to one of the Customer Service representatives but I could not find a phone number for Skype to call their Support Dept.

Only your network operator's customer service can tell you that for sure.
If you tell us where in the world you are, and the network you are on (which operator's SIM card you have), then, if that operator has a fixed prefix for voice mail, then someone else in the same country and network as you are, may be able to help.
Otherwise, it is impossible for anyone to know what your husband's voice mail number might be.

Try this: Move in a quiet-room. Play his/her voice over speaker of your iphone and record it with free recording-softwarefor windows or mac.

Your Basic voice mail is a free required program for you if you do not want Basic Visual Voice mail (free) or Premium which is a paid service. Basic Voice Mail set up is free and easy to do.
1. Sign in to your My Verizon online account.
2. On left side of page in Blue letters find the drop down menu. Click to open menu then go to change features and locate Basic Voice mail and click the Red add button.
3. When you're done making this change click next at the bottom of the screen and then ok.
4. Now go into your device and set up your Basic voice mail program. You may continue to receive an error message for a period of time “Visual voice mail update”, just clear and disregard.

i realised i have this 200mb of messages this morning & tried deleting my messages but it started to hang half way and my phone gets very hot. thn i do pressed my lock & home button to reset the phone, thn it cool atfer awhile but i got all my messges back lol..

How to stop Link syncing voice messages?

Is there a way to stop BB Link syncing voice messages to my PC?
In Link, the only media I am syncing is Music and I am doing that by specifically selecting by genre. I do have Music as a genre is set to sync in that list. My voice AAC files don't appear to have any genre set so why are they being sync'd too?

This is when I go to "usage" and it lists all of the memory used by certain apps. Messages is the largest, and I swipe to the left to open it and it says that "saved messages" are using all of it. There is no option to do anything at this screen.

Can you transfer/forward the VM via your carriers voicemail options? Try calling your VM and navigating though the options.
