How to activate Function Set

Hi Guys,
I want to activate Function set SAP Retail (EA-Retail) in my SAP IDES 2005 SR2 (700) box.
Is it done through EWF5.
Can someone give me correct procedure.

I don't think there's any need to "activate" BEx queries, unless you mean to activate them from the Business Content (in that case, I think you can only go through the Transport Connection tab in RSA1).

usually, it will be the BASIS team who will turn on the Business Fuction for you in t-code SFW5. But they only throw the switch, you need to perform a functional analysis beforehand. Usually, this would involve turning the Business Function on in a Sandbox system.
Follow the link posted by Pete Atkin to understand the functionalities behind this Business Function. This one should not have any regression impact on your current functions...

I have activate user exit and equipment replication. This is working fine except that I have all my equipment linked to a functional location and that this one is not replicated so in CRM I have one installed base by equipment instead of having one Installed base for my functional location and component object below this one...
Can anyone help on this??

Hi Monica,
Unfortunatelly, these fields are not mapped in the standard system.
According to standard design while downloading equipments from
R/3 to CRM the atributes of three set types namely COM_TA_R3_ID,
COM_TA_MANUFAC and COMM_PR_SHTEXT will be filled. Since functional
location in not an attribute of above settypes, it will not be
mapped and so you cannot view it in Ibase component details.
For downloading additonal data you can use the BAdI call trx. SPRO
=> Customer Relationship Management
=> Master Data
=> Installed Base
=> Replication of Equipment from SAP ECC Customer Service (CS)
Escpecially the IMG activity will guide you and also you can find a
example implementation in class CL_EXM_IM_CRM_EQUI_LOAD.
To bring the missing fields to CRM the method "ENLARGE_SET_TYPES" should
be used.

How to activate Show Set Operations in Ad Hoc query

When I go into ad hoc query using an infoset I created the Extras > Show Set Operations and Switch off object selection functions are greyed out and I cannot select them. On another infoset these functions are available for selection.
Is there some setting in the info set creation that allows these function to be available for selection?

Hi,
This can be achieved using the copy control setting for billing at the Item level. The field is: PricingExchRate type
and the possible values relevant for you are:
C Exchange rate determination according to billing date
E Exchange rate determination according to current date

In transaction PR05 (Travel Expense Manager) select any trip and then click on 'Change'. This takes you to the screen for the individual trip.
On the top left of the screen is the 'Object Services Toolbox'.
If I drop down on this list then select 'Create' there are 5 options under 'Create' i.e. 'Create attachment', Create Note', 'Create External Document', 'Store Bus. Doc', and 'Enter Bar Code'.
The 'Enter Bar Code' is deactivated. I would like to know how to activate this.

I think you need to check for IMG transaction code OAC5 & OAC3 and also check IMG configuration setting under
Application server-->basis services > Archive Link> customizing incoming documents--> bar code scenarios

we use use set functions on heirarchies with aggregate functions mostly .
If you include member_set, Min returns the minimum value of the aggregated data for all members in the member set.
Member_set can include multiple sets separated by semicolons (;).
The list of member sets must be enclosed in {}.
If the member set expression does not specify a precise member or node, the hierarchy referenced must be present in the table, then the member set expression references the current member in the hierarchy in the table. If the hierarchy is not in the table, the function returns the message #MULTIVALUE.
Eg .
1)     Ancestor
=Sum([YTD] ; {Ancestor([Test Hierarchy];2)})
2)     IsLeaf
=[Test Hierarchy].IsLeaf
You can use this function when you want to show your Measure only at lower level .
3)     .Depth
=[Test Hierarchy].Depth
This is also function used with hierarchy to find Level of Members .

for every report we can check unicode flag in the attributes.
function pool is also a type report.
for classes it is not possible to enable directly.
for this we have TCODE UCCHECK.
enable it by using above.

what do you mean by profiling Function. Is it BODS column Profiling?.
If you want to BODS profiling, 1st you should you need to login in profiling server.
Steps:Tools-->profiler server login-->give user name and Pasword then you can select the profiling repository
Pre Requisites: Profiler repoistory should be created 1st.

Go to FK02 And Give vendor number and Company code in COMPANY CODE DATA TAB select the Right tick mark in PAYMENT Transactions and press enter here go to automatic Pmnt transaction tab area Payment Block press F4 and select Free for Payment and SAVE.
