How to activate message tracking

Hi,
I would like ton know how I can activate message tracking on gwmonitor?
Is there anything to do on POA or MTA?

Pair your phone with the vehicle using the proper steps for individual vehicle.
In you iPhone open settings
Open Bluetooth connections
Locate the head unit device. This is located below the Bluetooth on/off slider. A standard name may be Car Multimedia, locate your head unit name. There will be a button off to the right shaped like a lower case i with a circle around it, tap that and it will open up settings for the device/vehicle.
Turn on "Show Notifications"
Go back to home screen and turn phone off then turn it back on.
While your vehicle is still on and your phone completely boots up they should connect automatically and the text messages should start coming through your vehicle as long as it's turned on in the vehicle settings.

How long are message tracking logs keeped on appliance?
How can i control message tracking logs.
Lots of HDD space available and I want 3 months of available Message Tracking logs.
When are Message traking logs deleted from the appliance?

Message tracking is based on the drive space available on the ESA appliance.
It is not possible to configure the # of days for retention of message tracking data. The set HDD storage allocation for message tracking data is limited. HDD storage allocation is set based on the hardware:
C1X0: 10G
C3X0: 20G
C6X0: 50G
X10X0: 50G
Your best solution in order to store mail logs/message tracking - would be to also have configured to store the mail_logs off to a syslog server --- that way you can determine the full extent/length of the retention period. (And also allows you to search/manipulate all mail_logs with a little easier access that may be available on the ESA.)

2) if message tracking logs only go back 30 days, is there anyway to restore older logs from backups so they can be searched in tracking centre?

A: By default, the message tracking log files exist in %ExchangeInstallPath%TransportRoles\Logs\MessageTracking. For Exchange 2010, the logs are generally stored in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\MessageTracking
directory. On an Exchange 2013 Mailbox server, you can use the Set-TransportServer cmdlet to set the log path, for example:

How to populate the Sender and Receiver GLN/ID in the Seeburger Message Tracking

Scenario :
ECC--> PI--> Party
Sending GS1 XML Message to party (Not EDI). Sender Party and Receiver Party appearing as expected.
BUT User expecting to see the Sender GLN and Receiver GLN in Seeburger Message Tracking.
It should be dynamically picked form GS1 Message. Should Appear in RED BOXES Shown below.What Module Parameters Should be used for this.
I have Tried destTargetMsg and destSourceMsg. But did'nt work.
can anyone please Help

You are correct. For XML to XML, you do not need BIC module.
However, since you are not using BIC module, you will not be able to enrich the metadata using the archiveXI parameter during processing at the adapter framework.
Another place to enrich the metadata would be during message mapping. You can call a custom UDF to populate the metadata and create an entry in Seeburger Message Tracking.
Please refer to the Seeburger manual for Message Tracking Function for more details on how to create the UDF.

I'm just learning how to use my Track Pad on my MacBook Pro, running iOS 10.9.4. I viewed the tutorial, which helped a lot , but still, when I click a link at odd times (I haven't figured out what triggers it yet) a small window with options such as, 'open in new window' opens up. It doesn't happen all the time. I just want the link to click through without having to deal with the message. When I click it several times, I may finally get it so the link just opens. How can I avoid those messages?

There is no such option.
You know people close enough to allow them to use your iPhone that would listen to your voicemail or that you don't trust enough not to? Why would you allow such a person to use/access your iPhone?

Read note 1152612 - Incorrect component type in structure WRMA_S_RESULT_DATA.
The error occurs in Release BI_CONT 703 Support Package 9.
If you require an advance correction for Support Package 9, make the following manual changes if the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is inactive in your system.
1. Use transaction RSA1 to call the Data Warehousing Workbench.
2. Check whether the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG was already activated by the compilation process the first time you called transaction RSA1. You can use transaction RSD1 to check this by entering 0TCTLSTCHG in the "InfoObject" field and choosing "Display". Proceed as follows if the InfoObject is still not active:
3. Go to BI Content activation.
4. Select "Object Types".
5. Open the "InfoObjects" tree and select "Objects".
6. Search for the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG and select it.
7. Transfer the object and activate it.
These steps activate the required component type /BI0/OITCTLSTCHG. You can check again in transaction RSD1 to ensure that the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is available as active.

Can anyone please tell us how to use seeburger message tracking.
I understand that there are 3 steps to be done.
1. Mapping in IR should have a UDF which referrers to the standard Seeburger function jar files.
2. Module configuration in the channel with FileStore module.
3. Configuration in Message Tracking.
But need some details about each step.
Could anyone please provide a document which explains this configuration.

Hi,
before these steps you need to have MT installer file based on your database and some settings needs to be done at database level.
if you have seeburger manuals there is one pdf 'SAPXI_Archiving_en.pdf' which talks about MT.

Syntax checking is available in designer from version 8.1 onwards.
If you want to enable in Adobe Reader then go to Edit --> Preferences --> JavaScript --> Enable the option Show console on Errors on messages.
Apart from it the alternative way to debug the scripts is to use xfa.host.messageBox and check the values.

Full Error is
"Activation Failed
This iPad is not able to complete the activation process. Please press Home and start over. If the issue persists, please visit your nearest Apple Store or Authorized service provider for more information or replacement."
The device has not been jail broken nor has my computer jail broken any devices. The device was working fine on wednesday and I did a restore and wipe, to switch from one user in the family to another. When I went to restore, I received this error. I have been through the restore and update process (says updating firmware, etc.) but at the end of the process I get the same message.
My big concern is this is an iPad 2 I bought new years ago and I'll be upset if the Apple Store folks say, "sorry, hardware issue."

Hi,
I am newish to the email appliance. We have a c370.
I am told we need reports daily detailing each email address leaving the ironport each day.
If we could also see the sending address that would be great.
message tracking seems to have this information but there are two problems:
1. it only lists 250 items.
2. i cannot schedule this report?
Any ideas as to the 2 items?

You are correct, this is not possible because:
- Tracking can show only up to 1000 items.
- It is not possible to schedule Tracking searches.
There is an Internal Users Report that tracks how many clean/threat messages for each user. However, these are just counters and will not show the details for each message. I'd still suggest looking over that page (from Monitor tab) to see if it meets your needs.
So the only other suggestion I can offer is manually parsing the mail_logs each day for all the required data. Sorry.
