How to actually update Firefox after download.

I have Ubuntu (not sure which version), and just downloaded Firefox 6 update. After the download, I extracted all the files from the zip folder. Now, I am not sure what to do. I cannot find anything that says "update here" or anything like that. How do I actually complete the update from here?

To elaborate a bit on my prev. message: I soon realized that after R clicking in the 'Downloads' screen and then on the 2nd. in the drop down menu I could click and drag and drop the icon of the wanted download into the open file or memory device as required. I would take up the offer I see in this e-mail to participate in helping like you and others do but I won't as I feel I'm not experienced enough yet. Nevertheless u keep up the good work. If you factory reset, it wont make the update go away, but you should back up and reset before you install the update.

Problem with keeping Firefox after downloading

How do I save firefox after it is downloaded. I get it up and running and I have the icon on my desktop, but when I shut the computer down it is not saved in the applications files.

Problem solved.
In iTunes, I selected Backup from my iPod's contextual menu under Devices. I then did a restore and all the music is back. It only took a few minutes.
These choices are only available via the device contextual menu, not the main iTunes pull-down menus.

You may have to restore your iPad using Recovery mode, but try a reset first. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons when you see the logo. This takes about 10-15 seconds.
IF the update will not complete or you see the connect to iTunes message on the screen, you have to restore your iPad.
