How to add 29.97 footage to 24P project?

I have to convert some minidv footage so I can cut it into a 24P project. I understand there's a software plugin that can do this. Anyone?

I'm still a newbie and have researched the Nattress filters a bit, but have no 1st hand experience yet. Isn't it the case that you can add 29.97 material to a 24p timeline, but if you do then you're calling upon FCP to do the conversion? I know I've accidentally added 29.97 stuff to a 24p timeline and it did play out, but looked really crappy. So, you would definitely want to use something like Film Effects, Magic Bullet, or Twixtor as this would yield much better quality, correct?
Sorry for the newbie questions, but is this basically how things work?

How to add a jar files to a project in JDeveloper 10g?

I had created a sample appln using below imports
import oracle.forms.handler.IHandler;
import oracle.forms.ui.CustomEvent;
import oracle.forms.properties.ID;
import oracle.forms.ui.VBean;
The above packages are available in frmall.jar only know?
I tried to add the above jar in JDeveloper IDE (10.1.2.1.0).
But i can't fild a exact menu in my iDE?
How to add the above jar through menu?

How to add a custom field to the "Projects" page "Group by" data menu list

Hi,
I'm deploying Project Online and I want to group projects by a custom field on the "Projects" page. Currently I can see options for group by Project Name, Start, Finish, % complete etc. I would like to group by a custom field of programme name
which is filled in on the Project Details form.
I can create the enterprise field etc, however I can't work out how to make the new enterprise field appear in this list. Or am I barking up the wrong tree and should be creating separate Project Types for each programme?
Any help an advise greatly appreciated.

How to add Phonegap plugins into Thym-based projects?

Finally got Eclipse working with Phonegap/cordova once I found Thym. However, now I'm not sure how to plugins into the project. Adding them from the CLI as usual does not seem to work.
Any advice on this? Thanks!

I installed Thym in my Eclipse Luna.
Then you can create projects by selecting Cordova platform and plugins when you create the project.
file> new> other> mobile> Hybrid ...
but I have not found how to add plugins later.
Now I installed JBoss Developer Studio and when you click on the Cordova project with right mouse button displays "Install Plugin Cordova".

How to add a jar file to a project

I believe I have followed the necessary steps to add a jar file to my project. I have added this jar file as a new library and I see all the classes in it. I have even added it to my SessionBean1.java via the Add ---> Property menu. I noticed that this did not do the import of the class, so I did it myself. I also noticed that it did the drop downs and found the class for me automatically. Specifically, the IDE knows about the class layout and can see my class package as I type it out.
So far so good....
I then go to compile the project and I get the error:
C:\Projects\safe\Safe\src\safe\SessionBean1.java:11: package com.dusa.bo does not exist
import com.dusa.bo.BackofficePerson;
Am I missing something? I looked around and it looks to me like the jar file is in the project and it should know about it. Again, I do know that the editor can find it, because as I type import ..... it then list "com" as an option to click on, then if I click on com, it will then list dusa ... and so on.

7.2.1: Can't add any new Footage to existing Project (PC)

After updating to 7.2.1 and adding new Footage to a project, the project gets unusable. The whole project plays no sound any more. After pressing "SPACE" to play the clips I only hear a strange cracking sound and then silence.
Anyone else with this behaviour?

If you haven't already cleared the cache files, I'd try that. To do so, delete all the contents of the "Media Cache" and "Media Cache Files" folders here:
Mac: /Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common
Windows: c:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common. You should find two cache folders there. (If you can't find the AppData folder, you'll have to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files.)

How to add jar files which point to project

when i create project in jse8 i added jar files form system.
then when i move that project to another system it is asking for jar files.it is pointing to location from where we added.
how to make jar files available locally so that i can move anywhere.

This might be a CRUDE solution, but it helps :-)
1. Create a new folder (e.g. lib) under your project
2. Copy the interested Jars to the folder. ( I am not sure how to do from within the IDE, I just copied the jars using Explorer.
3. Right-Click on the Libraries Node to add the Jars and Add them from the folder created in step 1.
This works... :-)

Install Visual Studio Express 2013 for Desktop instead. Is there a way to have both installed on same machine? Or can I install some add ons (if so what) to get that feature in VS Express for the Web? suggestions?

In addition, I suggest you can refer the VS2013 Express MSDN document to understand different project use the different version of VS2013 Express.

How to add a facet to an existed project in my plug-in?

In my plug-in on Workshop, I want to add a facet to a project dynamicly, and I try two ways, but it does't work:
1: use method "installProjectFacet"

After I add "org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.core" to my plug-in dependencies, the above exception does't appeared, the installProjectFacet can be executed without exception.

I have a project that I'm working on and want to go back in and place some green screen footage into the original project. What do I have to do to be able to use and edit the green screen footage and place it into the original footage?

In FCPX? Just place the green screen footage over the storyline (as a connected clip) and apply the Keyer effect to the green screen footage (if the green screen is really good, you probably won't even have to make any adjustments to the keyer). You can also use the Transform parameters in the Video inspector to adjust size, positioning and orientation of the overlaid footage to fit into the storyline original.

Cp 8 - How to add ppt slides to an existing project with space to the left and right ?

After much trial and error, i know exactly what I want. The priority for me is clear and unscaled captured video, and my project resolution shall be 1260x700.
now, i want to bring my ppt slides in and respect the aspect ratio- this means that there will be blank space to the left and right of the slides. The active area of the ppt slide should be about 700 h and 4/3 * 700 width. To avoid scaling, i would love them to be 699 x 932 and have the areas to the left and right blank. i am also willing to make my project 1260x702.
The objective here is to avoid scaling. I have seen that things look great when scaling is avoided.
