How to add a bar code to each page in dynamic pdf

I am using adobe livecycle to create dynamic form. I have a requirement where I need to add BarCode field to alternate pages in pdf document. The pages can grow dynamically when pdf loads.

I have a customer that is requiring us to add their order number to every page of multipage documents we send them. Right now we're using typewriter and pasting the order number to each page individually. Is there an easy way to automate this process? So that for each order number, we just type in the order number once and each page subsequently has the order number stamped on it.

I have an I-form, which "floats" on 2 or more pages. My problem is that I want to repeat a SubForms as a header(or a footer) on each page of the document. Any idea how can I do that.

Yes ,If you want to display the same content in all body pages , you just design repeatable part in the master page.

How do I add a tracking code to my page?

I want to add a tracking code to my page but iWeb doesn't seem to allow it. I copied the html code from a 3rd party site (Google Analytic) and tried pasting into the html widget in iWeb but when I check the tracking report it keeps telling me the code has not been installed. I have tried placing the text block at various places on the page and still no luck. The directions at Google Analytic tell me where I need to paste it into the html code but to do that I need an html editor or a text editor that can read html.
Am I doing something wrong with the html widget? If a tracking code can't be added with a widget is there a way I can edit the source code directly? A text editor, maybe? I tried Word but but it wouldn't open the page.

There's a way to add Google Analytic to pages without having to edit the page. It's a little bit of work but it's a one time process. Read about it here: http://www.wyodor.net/blog/archives/2010/05/entry_316.html
Or you could add StatCounter to each page to get not only the number of hits but lots more information:

You will need to add this font to the system and Reports configuration files.
For adding font to the system, refer to your system specific guidelines for installing new fonts.
After you have installed this font on the system, you should be able to see the font in Reports builder font picker dropdown box. or with unix 'xlsfonts' command
For adding this font to the Reports application.
1. Modify the printer definition file ( you can get this info from uiprint.txt file for the .ppd or .hpd file used )
if the printer defination file is .ppd then look for "*Font Information" section and add the new font name there
like *Font <new_font_name> Standard '(00.1001)" Standard ROM
If hpd add the new font tfm file as
FONT= new_font_name
/tfm=new_font_tfm file.tfm
2. Copy the AFM or TFM ( these are fonts metrics files, which font vendor will provide ) into the relevant directory so the the Reports application should pick them up.
3. If necessary, make changes in the alias file (uifont.ali ) for mapping to this font. If the layout objects in your report are associated with the same font name as the new font then mapping is not required. But if the fonts for the layout objects are different then you need to map the original fonts to the new ones. Make sure that the mapping rules should be defined in the right section depending on the printer type being used.

Hi,
there is no user exit available for this report program, one alternative is copy the program associated with this standard program i.e. RVV50R10C to a Z program and modify it as per your requirement or if you want to modify the standard program you need access key.

It is not possible to add new entries to table TSTCP via transaction OBU1 (you can only modify the default parameters for the existing transactions). However, new default parameters for other transactions can be created via transaction SE93 (trans F-44). You can review notes 19798 and 310587 for further information.

Adding bar codes to printer device for smartforms pdf conversion?

Hello friends,
I would like to send a smartform as a pdf to an email recipient. The smartform shows some bar codes. The send process workes fine. But the bar codes doesn't appear on the pdf correctly. Therefore I would like to add bar codes to the printer device type in transaction SE73.
Does somebody know the device type for smartforms pdf conversion? Or how can I add bar codes to smartforms pdf conversion process?

Can I add Action button on each page of my pdf document

I have created many power point slides with an action button on each slide that allows the user to click to display a video clip.   I would like to create a pdf document of this and replace each of my action button in ppt with an action button that works in Acrobat.
I noticed that action buttons can be added to forms, but I want to be able to add an Action Button on each of my ppt slides to start playing a video clip (each slide will have a different video).
I would like to do this using any coding method (i.e. Javascript, VBA, C , etc).   I think acrobat uses Javascript.
The reason, is that I want to display my power point slides on an IPad and they don't support hyperlink in power point.   I believe IPad does suppport the full acrobat capabilities.
Can this be done ??
Any suggestions where to start ??

NO problem creating the buttons and then playing this back in Acrobat. Works great.
However, unfortunately, none of the PDF viewers for the iPad support playing movies.   So playing it there won't work :(.
