How to add a copyright watermark

I have tried using the Alt + 0169 also tried Alt G. neither method works, the symbol does not appear.

You need to use the alpha-numeric keys on the right side of a standard desktop keyboard
You can also access the symbol via the character map found under accessories on a Windows machine. Then, copy/paste
A really neat way is from within Elements. Access the Custom Shape Tool, go to the Symbols library, and the copyright symbol is right there.

How to add a graphic watermark that is bigger than the photo?
Basically I want to add a watermark that is a border, like "outside stroke" so that it doesn't clip the photo.
Upper, left and right side are 10px and on the bottom is my signature that is 40px high. I know how to do this in Photoshop, but can't figgure it out in Lightroom.
The inset function with negative numbers doesn't work, because it only export to the size of the exported image, instead it should resize the image with those 10px up, left and right and 40px on      the bottom.
My bordes look like this either one of the two can be used, and if you scroll down you will se how the end result should look like.
And below is what it should look like, so that Lightroom doesn't clip the photo.

Are you sure the focus of your piano roll is on the right track? Are you zoomed in/out enough?

add a jpg. watermark to my images in bridge and also how to batch add the watermark.
You can't do so in Bridge, only option for a watermark inhere is via the Output Module on a PDF contact sheet.
Best try this question in the Photoshop forum, they might have better answers because you need to create an action in PS to get what you want.

  • How to add a copyright to a photo in Aperture?

I just downloaded the trial version of Aperture 2, to get a feel for it. I do a lot of photography, and need a simple way to add a copyright mark on the photo itself, i.e., my name, the year, and the copyright symbol.
Under metadata, I typed in "©2008 My name here" in the "Copyright notice" box. However, it did not appear on the photo. How exactly do I do this? I have several photos I need to print and send off in a couple of days, so a quick response would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!!

    Hi
I was wondering the same thing myself after buying aperture. I still haven't figured out a way to do it... I think adding a copyright just attaches it electronically in the metadata. I know Adobe Light room 2 has a text adding feature. Try downloading that trial. And if anyone knows a good way to do it in aperture 2 please let us know!

  • How to make a copyright watermark

New B here! I am wanting to make a copyright watermark... I am using windows, PSE8, and a laptop... so I dont have the number key pad... can anyone help me?

    Tracy,
Since since don't have a numeric keypad you can do this:
In Windows go to Accessories > System Tools > Character Map (the path to Character Map might vary depending on your Window version).
Choose your font, click on the copyright symbol, click the Select Button and the Copy button. This copies the symbol to the clipboard.
In PSE, activate the Text tool, type your text and when you are ready to add the copyright symbol paste it from the clipboard (Ctrl-V, or Edit > Paste).

  • How to add a watermark?

How do you add a watermark of your logo to the images?
Export window has an option to add copyright watermark. How do you edit and configure it?
    Cheers

No config, as such. I takes for the Copyright IPTC field entered in Metadata. You can do a Metadata Preset to add that on import to all your images. And to apply to all current images.

  • Newbie alert! How to add a watermark

Maybe I just missed this in the manual. I admit to being greener than grass with this sort of software. And as much as I search the 'help' pdf that came with 1.1, I still can't figure this out.
I've created a plate, and the name shows up all nice and pretty when I start Lightroom.
But I can't figure out how to add a watermark to a picture.
Specifically, I'd prefer to add it on import of the RAW file, but I'd settle for being able to add a watermark on the creation of a jpg file.
Currently I take the jpg into photoshop where I have a watermark layer that I apply.
But I'd rather not leave lightroom at all, if possible. That's kinda the point of getting Lightroom.
Any help or guidance that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
    tia

Yes, that was the year I was born.
So now I've figured out how to add the meta data. I've even created a metadata template that gets applied when I import. This is a good thing.
When I check the exported jpg files, the extended properties include the copyright information that my template entered. Yet another good thing
    however...
There is no watermark on the jpg!
Yes, the "Add copyright watermark" option is checked in the "Image Settings" area of the export. (If I could figure out how to attach the screen print, I'd show you.) And the copyright information shows up in the extended properties of the jpg. But no watermark.
If it is relevant, I am using Vista with Lightroom 1.1
I really did rtfm. And I thought I had it figured out after a bit of hacking. But I was wrong.
    Suggestions?

  • Add Copyright Watermark

I see in Sean McCormack's latest posting on
Lightroom News that export now has an
    i "Add Copyright Watermark"
    option. Hooray!
Can anyone show us some examples of what the watermark looks like?
    Thanks,

hi, sorry if this is a duplicated question, but one thing is not understandable for me...
i got my brand nw boxed lightroom yesterday, and in the attached book the 'manual' said that the 'add copyrigth watermark' feature at the export dialog uses your identity plane for it... but it is completly un-true, because this feature use the embedded copyright metadata in the image... is it true? or maybe i was bad?
and the other question is, if it really use the embeded metadata instead of the 'wrote in the manual' identity plane, then how can i change the layout of it? i did not find the way to change the font-stlye and usually nothing...
anyway lightroom is my best friend, throught to long beta phase im in love with it, just i completly not understand why could not use the identity plane as watermark:(
sorry for my hard english, hope that everything is understandable...
    ps. im on windows version...
    thanks a lot in advanced,
    bye...

  • How to add a watermark in Pages 5.0

    Hello!
Could anyone please explain to me how to add a watermark in Pages 5.0
    Thank you

Hi have found the solution. You need go into the View menu and make sure that you have checked the Show Invisibles option. Once you can see the invisibles, you should see a blue line at the top of the "blank" page with a small "document" icon at the right of the line. You need to delete this blue line/icon which will delete the whole page as long as there are no other "invisible items" which may also need to be deleted.
I did the above and my blank page disappeared from the thumbnails view immediately.

In Keynote, use the text tool, enter text and select the font, size and colour.
To create the watermark effect, reduce the opacity in the colour palette.

  • Add Control over Copyright Watermark Font

Now with the V1.3 we got the nice export size option based on longer/shorter image size, and I could stop to use additional resizing step upon export.
With one exception: The Watermark added by Lightroom is too huge for my taste. And I used to generate (say) twice bigger image, and resize it than to a smaller dimension. By doing so, the watermark got also scaled down in size.

I had my copyright watermark working nicely in my web exports after tweaking my fonts using
Jeffreys Lightroom Configuration Manager. However in the upgrade to 1.2 or 1.3 I lost my settings, and haven't been able to get it the right size since. So I'm left adding it outside of LR (dumb hassle) or leaving it off altogether (less than ideal). I hope it's possible to make an export plugin that will give control over some sort of watermark for export, but hopefully in time the watermark ability will grow from the print and slideshow modules into the web and export ones...
