I want to add a gaussian curve on the histogram chart like the attached picture. I plot the histogram already with my data, but I don't know how to add the gaussian curve.

If you have the Statistical Process Control (SPC) toolkit or Datalogging and Supervisory Control toolkit (DSC), LabVIEW has many built-in histogram functions.
look for "Plot Histogram and Normal PDF"

According to your description, you want to add secondary X axis for one series in a column chart, right?
The secondary axis is useful when comparing two value sets with two distinct data ranges that share a common category. In Reporting Services, it’s not supported to create two X axis for one series. We can create secondary X axis when there are two series
in a column chart. As we tested in our local environment, we can add secondary X axis for specific series. Please refer to the screenshots below:

You create attributes on the product and an attribute can have a price associated with it that adds to the total product price.

I have a line chart report. There are 4 columns shown in Y-axis. (that means 4 lines totally).
If those reports are printed by black/white printer, user will confuse those lines belong to which column.

Remove accruals tick first.
Changes in pricing procedure.
Put 6 in the subtotal of freight condition (create saperate condition)
Changes in Tax procedure.
Assign 362 under BASTYP for BASB condition type.
Assign 363 under BASTYP for BASB For ED condition type.
Now check the scenario.

I'm trying to create a bell-shaped (Gaussian) curve in Photoshop CS3, using the Pen Tool, however apparently I am not good enough with it... Correct me if I'm wrong---I believe you want a schematic Gaussian curve rather than a mathematically precise one.
If so, set up two horizontal guide lines, one running through the desired apex and the other through the curve's baseline. Add three vertical guides, one through the apex and the other two equally spaced on the left and right sides of the guide through the apex.
Let point A be at the intersection of the left vertical with the baseline, point B be the apex, and point C be the intersection of the right vertical with the baseline.
With the pen tool at point A, drag horizontally to the right a fraction of the distance to the central guide. Release the mouse, move the pen tool to point B and drag horizontally to the right about the same distance or until the left half of the curve looks Gaussian. Release the mouse, place the pen tool at point C and drag horizontally rightward until the right half of the Gaussian curve matches the left.
To close the curve, release the mouse and click at a point on the baseline well beyond point C, connect from below with a path of any shape to a point on the baseline well to the left of point A, and then close to point A. Stroke the path, delete the path, and erase all but the Gaussian part.
Experiment with the ABC positions and the drag lengths until you get a decent curve. Should you want a precise curve it would be better to use one of the freeware curve programs out there. But if you want a bit of precision with the pen tool, that's possible by calculating one or two intermediate points between A and B and symmetrically between B and C and then dragging the pen so that curve comes reasonably close to passing through them.

Ive done Add Automation, and Automatic Filter is now available on the "Add Automation". (Although Frequency, Resonance, Mode, Intensity & Speed are down as 5 seperate tick boxes under Automatic Filter and I'd like to just be able to select Automatic filter and not have to change each of these 5 independently and it just work from what I have set it to manually on left hand side).
I've added points/dots to the curve during the section I need it, but this moves the filter up and down over that point AND from the very start of the song to the very end of the song.
Where does the point/dot need to be/set to at the Start of the song upto the point I want the filter to kick?
So there would be NO filter on the track from Bar 1 to end of Bar 9
Then, where does the point need to be/set to at the end of song from the end of the filtered section?
So there would be NO filter on the track from Bar 13 to end of the song?
So just to confirm I want
Bar 1 to end of Bar 9 - NO FILTER
Bar 10 to end of Bar 12 - Filter
Bar 13 to end of song - NO FILTER

How old is your Mac? Did it come with preinstalled iLife applications?
Then you might want to give GarageBand a try.
GarageBand comes with many predefined filters to enhance vocals, or to make it sound like a Life performance, radio effect, like a megaphon, etc. And you have automation curves to adjust the volume, for example to fade the voice out.
Also you can trim and mix several recordings and position the sound along the stereo baseline. This way you can let the voice walk from left right or let a car drive by.
This screenshot shows how to use the predefined effects for voices, the Track pan automation to move the voice from left to right, the track volume automation to adjust the volume, and the "record" button to record a voice on one of the tracks in the time line.

5672 - How to add noise to QAM signal

Hi everybody,
I use the 5672 PXIe generator for creating a QAM signal with an user defined constallation set. Since I need continuous streaming I take advantage of the OSP of the 5672. I simply send the low-rate IQ - information symbols and the extensive oversampling and pulse-shaping is performed using the onboard signal processing unit. Everything works well.
Now, I want to add white gaussian noise to my signal. For my physical understanding, I would have to add the noise samples to the signal AFTER oversampling and pulse-shaping. Since this operation is done in hardware, I can not go this way. What I am doing right now is as follows: I simply add the noise samples to my low rate IQ-information symbols (BEFORE oversampling and pulse-shaping).
Has anyone an idea, how to overcome this wrongdoing I am aware of?

Hi Andy,
the information symbol rate (which means the IQ rate BEFORE oversampling and pulse shaping) is about 150 kSymbols / sec. As a benefit of this pretty low rate, we are able to generate information symbols continiously including all scrambling and coding operations.
Actually, your suggestion seems to be the only solution to add white noise to the signal. From my understanding, adding the noise to the information symbols results in loss of the "white" (uncorrelated) property of the noise due to the filtering operation (pulse-shaping).
Maybe for next generation of signal generator devices of NI: It would be a great feature of the OSP to add impairments like noise to the signal for purpose of testing the performance of receiver devices. Actually, this is the application we run.

Ok, so I've been trying to get CERN's ROOT program/libraries to work in an xcode project for a while, but I'm running into one really weird error, and I think I may just not know how to add a library to a project correctly.
Suppose I create a new Xcode C++ command line tool project. I hit Build and go, and it gives me a nice little Hello World! in the console, just as it should. If I then click on the project in Groups & Files, go to Project>Add to Project..., and choose, say, libCint.so, from my root/lib directory, and click ok, then click Build & Go, I get an error in the console:
dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/libCint.so
Referenced from: /Users/paulthompson/Documents/Programming/Build Products/Debug/LibraryIncludeTest
Reason: image not found
sharedlibrary apply-load-rules all
Data Formatters temporarily unavailable, will re-try after a 'continue'. (Cannot call into the loader at present, it is locked.)
My assumption is that either I'm missing a step in the process of adding a library, or else there is something jacked up with the libraries themselves. Anyone have any advice?

EDIT* Oh, I should mention that the actuall binary that gets built after adding the library WILL execute properly in the Finder, or from terminal, just not with the Build & Go, or Go commands from within xcode.

So, since I don't want to deploy with the environment variable set, I should ask, what IS the correct, MacOS X way to do it?
The best way to find that is to look at how Apple does it. They put frameworks in /System/Library/Frameworks and regular shared libraries in the standard places. You can do the same. Put your frameworks into /Library/Frameworks and your shared libraries into /usr/local-based paths.
If you want to create stand-alone executables that can be installed via drag-n-drop, you can put shared libraries inside the application bundle. If your shared libraries/frameworks are elsewhere, you will need some sort of installer to get them installed.
I've been sifting through Apple's developer documentation but I have yet to find a concise, straightforward explanation of how to add shared libraries. I'm horribly confused at this point. Is there a good tutorial available anywhere for both the general unix case of linking to dylibs and .so's, and the Mac specific case?
Hopefully someone else knows an answer for this one.
*EDIT* I do already have the variable defined both in ~/.MacOS/environment.plist and also in Xcode as an additional user variable.
I'm not sure about the whole RPATH thing. Setting environment.plist will define environment variables for use in the Finder, but that is really a hack. There are better ways to do it, but if you are porting some open-source programs, that may be the only way. You should be able to define those variables in Xcode. You have to selected the debug executable under "Exectuables"

Hi Monika,
It is not really possible to add a row (I assume you mean of unrelated data) to the middle of a table in a report. You can add a new table with a single row between two tables. For instance you could add a new one row table, or even single cells which are positioned relatively between two tables. Possibly a block on top of another. But this gets tricky.
