How to add a specific view to a folder in Finder?

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if there is a possibillity to add a specific view to a specific folder in Finder.
I know this sounds abstract, let me explain:
In OS 10.5 there are now 4 views for the Finder:
- Icons
- List
- Columns
- Cover Flow
Usually I prefer icons, but for my movies and pictures folders I prefer Cover Flow.
It would be handy to preset Cover Flow as view for the movies and pictures folders while other folders remain unaffected and still view as icons, instead of constantly having to change the view.
Is there any way to accomplish what I am trying to do?

What you want to do is possible.
Open your folder (the one you want to "customize"), then choose View>Show View Options. At the top, you will see a check-box labeled "Always open in xxx view," "xxx' being whatever view is currently set for the open window. Change the view on the window, using the icon in the Toolbar, to set your desired view, then enable the checkbox in the View Options. Close the View Options, then close the window.
Initially, changing the view on this one window will change your view globally. Not a problem; just change the global setting back to your desired view when you open the next Finder window.

When i have give reference of my project jar to java callout it doen't found external libraries.
Could you please tell me how to add external libraries in class path folder or How to use to add it through web-logic server ?

Thanks, I have solved issue.
We can add on following path in windows pc:
C:\Users\your_usename\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008\DefaultDomain\lib
One you add your external lib here then do restart weblogic server instance.
Now, you have that external lib or jar in use.

How to add a new view in Factsheet to collect data from R3

Hi Experts,
I need to add a new view in Account Factsheet called 'Open Delivery data'
which will collect the delivery data from R3 system.
As I know we have two Function Modules (at CRM) 'CRMT_ERP_FACT_SHEET_RETRIEVE'
(at R3) 'CRM_CCKPT_EXPORTSUMMARY'
All We need to do is create view which calls the data from R3 Via these modules.
How should I proceed.

To add a new currency in Metadata, just add in Currencies dimension, and to add in Data form-just send the script what you are using as of now for rest of the currencies, or follow the same steps as specified above. or just add the script A#CLORATE.w#Periodic.C2#XYZ in rows of your data form (where XYZ- is the new currency).
To add a new location in FDM login to FDM web client- click on Metadata--> locations and select the Controls review location where you want to add the data load location, right click and add the new location.

It is stored in table COMM_IL_PRDCPN, data element COMT_PRID_VENDOR.
Is there a class/method, function module, or some example coding, how I can do that?

u can try LSMW to create CMIR for sold-tos..

How to add new source views for Bill Presentment Architecture (BPA)?

I'm trying to add custom source views to be used with BPA.
I go to configuration\data sources and click on the views buttons to see the available views.
There I click on the register button. If I use the LOV button for view name, no views are available. I thought I would see the view in the APPS schema.
How do I make my custom views available in the list of values?

It was easy for us. The guide suggests your view begin with the string "ARBPA". One might assume that if your view doesn't start with this, it won't be available from the list.

Your query is to configure a webpart in a page which will display all the links to lists (within the site)? If this is the requirement you can configure a dataformwebpart and configure the Data
Source Mode as CrossList.

How to remove a computer from my shared folder in Finder?

Just purchased a new iMac. After setting up Wi-Fi network connection, from DSL, now have a unknown computer listed within the shared folder in Finder. Have no idea who this is, but want to remove it. How?

Often people will borrow, piggyback, a network without meaning to do harm. They just want a free internet connection. That being said, would you trust a stranger to plug their computer into your network? The best thing for you to do is read the manual that came with your router and find out how to turn on WPA encryption. Sometimes the router companies have support lines. After this is done, it means that anyone who uses your wireless connection will have to have your network name (AKA "SSID") and password. If you give them the password, they can use your network connection. If not, then they can't. That includes friends and family, when they are at your house for a visit. Giving them the WPA wireless password won't give them access to your computer (unless you use the same password - a bad idea), it will just give them access to your network.
There's no way that I know of to eliminate a computer from your Shared Folder area. That said, it also doesn't mean that they have access to your computer. It might actually mean that you have access to theirs!
To see what they have access to, go to the Apple menu at the top left corner of the screen and start System Preferences. Inside there, you will see "Sharing". If you uncheck all of the boxes in there, there is little that anyone could do.

With OIMReports:
1- Including in XML files the parameters as section: Examples of InputParameter tags and ReturnColumns tag
2-And Creating a New Entry in the REP Table.

With BIPublisher(easiest way-license is needed):
Once you downloaded and install BIPub in your application server you will have access to all OIM report definitions.Then it is just a matter of learning how to change a report definition. It's very simple.
It has a 'desktop tool' that you can install in your desktop. This specifc tool provides an extension to MS Word(MACRO) and you can even work with Word to generate report templates.
Descriptions:
0- deploy BIPublisher and OIM reports to your apps server
1- Install the BIPublisher desktop tools in your desktop
2- Modify the report query using the BIPub interface and add your UDF fields
3- Run the report you want to modify from BIPub and export the generated data as XML
4- Download the report template in RTF format
5- With RTF file(open it) in your MS Word
6- Load the XML file you generated in step 4 in your MS Word
7- You could load this specif xml change what you want. (word will have a 'BI Publisher' menu with different operations you can do)
7- With Report template(save it).
8- Update the report template in the report definition(using the BIPub web interface
9- Run the report again
It means that front end page you need to edit this in Word page.

    Thanks for Reply. Actually the requirement is the specific customer(vbpa-kunnr) wants to add one small note like " This is computer gernerated copy, no singnature required" bottom of the footer or just before footer.
1) I have created that note in S010 entries and called via include directly in window itself. It is not working.
2) Tried with PERFORM statement and written piece of code in main programme and called via form. It is also not working.
Where we can validate that particular customer like in forms? or in progarmme? ( please consider me as a new developer in scripts).
   Please give me more details regarding my issude , so that i can go ahead with your suggestions.

How to add in workitem view and how to work on the 'complete' attribute

Whenever a manual action is defined in a workflow process , a workitem object is created.The WorkItem view contains a few attributes that pertain to the WorkItem object itself. Some of the attributes are read only and some have write permission.
Now my question is how I should include something in the description attribute.
Again I want to know that how should we work on the attribute 'complete'.

How to enter a specific view size

I'm brain dead for some reason. Where do you type in a value if you need to see the page a specific size? I want to view at 137% which I think is equal to actual size. I know if CS4 it was at bottom left but I can't find it in 5.

in the for list of the wizard i see only 3 forms.
the form i need is not from the list.

This question has already been answered in the forum.
Anyway, it is very simple: you need to get the system form in XML format and
then add it in the same folder where the 3 forms are. Once the form is there you
will see it in the wizard and then you can attach all the listeners you want as
usual. Usually this folder is:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Development Environment\SAP Business One AddOn Wizard\system forms
Note that this folder contains all the forms you want to handle. When you
automatically generate a form from a UDO the resulting XML will be placed
there.
