How to add a Totals row in a dashboard

Hi there gurus,
I would like to know how to add a totals row at the end of a pivot table within a dashboard. Notice that the column I need to sum up is a measure column and not a dimension one.

Thank a lot.What do you mean? That's what you would always expect to aggregate. Click the sigma sign on the Rows section and it will sum up the measures column. If not, add the aggregation rule to the measure column. Otherwise, explain IN DETAIL what you did, don't assume that what you did was correct.

Hi Monika,
It is not really possible to add a row (I assume you mean of unrelated data) to the middle of a table in a report. You can add a new table with a single row between two tables. For instance you could add a new one row table, or even single cells which are positioned relatively between two tables. Possibly a block on top of another. But this gets tricky.

The code executes well with no problem and get all datas from tables into table in PDF report from c# windows forms.
But here is my problem how can i align Title(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) center of pdf report with image named:logo5.png immediately coming to it's right?.
As the problem i am facing is my title or Header(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) is at top of my image named:logo5.png and not coming to it's center position of my image.
Second the problem i am facing is how to add new entire row to top of existing table in pdf report from c# windows form using iTextSharp?.

I’m sorry for the issue that you are hitting now.
This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

I have some doubs in BDC and SMART FORMS. I want to change the material number using the transaction code MM02 through BDC.
In scripts and smartforms how to calculate totals and subtotals?
To calculate totals and sub totals in sap scripts you have to use subroutines.
Say if you have to add the unit price (KOMVD-KBERT) then in the main window whereever tat value is picked write this routine
/: DEFINE &TOT_PRICE&
/: PERFORM F_GET_PRICE IN PROGRAM <subroutine prog name> /:USING &KOMVD-KBERT& /:CHANGING &TOT_PRICE& /:ENDPERFORM
Then write the variable where ever you want it to be printed (mostly it will be in footer window)
Then create subroutine pool program and you have to write the code.
FORM F_GET_PRICE tables int_cond structure itcsy
outt_cond structure itcsy. data : value type kbert.
statics value1 type kbert.
Read int_cond table index 1.
value = int_cond-value.
value1 = value1 + value.
Read outt_cond table index 1.
outt_cond-value = value1.
Modify outt_cond index 1.
ENDFORM.
I have given a rough outline, please be aware of the variable conversions as Int_cond-value and outt_cond-value are characters.

I've created a standard table in DynPro which consist two lines: One indicating a certain count and the other indicating a certain amount. I would like to create at the end of the row a total row which will sum it's relevant column. How can I do it without summming each row manually at the code and how do I add another row at the end which will indicate the total?

How to add an extra row at the end of the Grid?

Hi gurus,
I am getting result from the select query which has 4 columns.
I got the requirement to display the sum of those columns as the last row.
How can i add the another row at the end of the iGrid ?
Data would look like

Sum     15     14    3       19
Do i have to add transformation to the sql query? or
Can i add row to the display tempalate by accessing the Gridobject?

Hi Vamsi,
There are a few options ...
1) The one suggested by Prasanna
2) Loop through all rows via JavaScript and use the GridObject methods to set cell values and then perform an applet.refreshGrid( false )
3) Apply an Inline transform
4) Use a stored procedure to return the results and the totals as one recordset.
The stored procedure would be the fastest for runtime.
The Iniline XSL transform would be the second fastest. If you specify the XSL in a generic way, you may even be able to reuse it in other scenarios. If you hardcode the fields in the XSL, it would be a matter of simple code adjustment when you encounter a similar scenario.

How to add a footer row to an existing table?

The LiveCycle on-line help is pretty cryptic on this one . . . .
I have an existing table in a form in which the designer (me) left off a footer row by mistake. In lieu of deleting the table and rebuilding it using the Table Assistant, is there a way to add a footer row to the existing table? The on-line help seems to indicate that it's possible, but offers little in the way of instruction on how to do it.

Hi Bill,
in your hierarchy view of your table,
selsct the body row of your tabke and
right-click and select 'Insert'.
Then select 'Rows below'.
You will see a new row beneath your original body row.
Select your new row, and in your Object tab, select 'Footer Row' under type.
Now, under the Pagination tab select wether you want to see the footer row on every page or just the last page.

There is a report where sales document number(0doc_number)is displayed in one of the columns,
now There is a requirement where I need to add a total count of those doc numbers at the end of that column.
I am not able to find a suitable way to do that.
I tried exception aggregation for taking a count of doc numbers but that will be another column then while I need the total at the end of the same
column which already exists.

Cartesion joining against a dummy table is a useful method of creating a dummy row:

NB. You may have to mess around with the ordering if that's not come back in the order you wanted. You didn't mention what the rules were for any expected ordering though, so I've made up my own *{;-)
Also, I added an identifier (cust_id) to differentiate between different sets of payments, since that's usually the case. Remove that if it's not applicable for your case.

I am new to this forum. I got a new requirement, my client is asking me to show multiple columns with multiple tables in a single dashboard prompt
for Ex: Column name Table name
1. Customer 1. Customer Details

3. Order 3. Order Status
4. Product 4. Product Type
He wants to show all these column names in a single prompt when user click on the particular column name it should appear on report. Is it Possible? if possible tell me how?

Hi,
If you are using the prompts with presentation variables or referring only the columns separately then you can create individual prompts and place static text between them.
But if you need to have both the prompt columns together then create the prompts and use 'space' as the label names for both.(ie prompts would appear but the name wont appear). And create a static text in the page or in a report and place in the page. Which appears as the name of the prompt with 'OR' between the prompt names.
This should solve your problem.

ADDING BLANK LINES
To add blank lines to table control we do not need to change any of the fields of the structure CXTAB_CONTROL simply adding blank lines to the internal table will do.
INSERT INITIAL LINE INTO itab.
DELETING SELECTED ROWS
Deletion of selected rows is simple. To delete selected rows first we will determine the rows which have been selected through selection column .
FOR SINGLE ROW SELECTION
IF mark EQ 'X' . "mark is the name of selection column field
DELETE itab FROM workarea .
ENDIF.
FOR MULTIPLE ROW SELECTION
*To deetermine the rows selected we will use the selection column field to loop
*through the internal table.

i could not under how ur page structure is but i will try to tell what i used in such a situation where u have to add or remove some elements from the page based on wht the user chooses.
I put buttons linking to the same page with a variable containing the row id in the url (http://something.com?id=10')
while displaying the records i will be iterating througnh the data row by row and displaying the text in the table.
