How to add an iview as a link

Hi,
I have a requirement like i need add an iview (For Ex : Contact Us) as a link at the bottom of the page/currently viewing iview.
Not in a navigation panel as a related links or not as a favourite link, a link should be added at the bottom of a page, so that if i click on that link it should take me to another iview where it displays the content which is present in that iview.
For example i created a iview called Contact Us and i want to have a link to that ivew at the bottom of a page/iview, so once i click on that link it should give me the contact details by opening a Contact Us iview.

Hi Pradeep ,
There is no way you can achieve this only through portal configurations . You will have to create an iview out of your custom code . Check the page layout section of default framework page ( or the framework page of your app) and there you can place it at any position , say below masthead or below TLN .

Global Navigation: How to add heading as non active link?

I really want to add non active link in global navigation. How it will be done?
I tried to add heading without any link but it's appearing in current navigation, how can i add it in global (front menu) navigation.

Click on Modify Navigation -> click on Global Navigation -> Click Add Heading --> Give only title , no need to give the url.
By the way i think you are also following the same procedure.

How to add an image to a link when rolling over

This is my first time working in muse, so I'm only just beginning to understand how to utilize the program. A goal of mine for my site is to have a small image of a flame pop up behind my links at the top of my page when you mouse over the link (instead of it simply changing colors or being underlined). I only want this effect on the header and footer navigational links though; not on any links that would be in the body text on the page.   I was wondering if anyone could advise me on how to do this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

There are two ways that I can suggest.
     1. Apply the fire image to the rollover of the Menu Item,
     2. Use the Composition Widget - tooltip. Place the trigger on the hyperlink and target behind it, so that once you hover the trigger, target with the fire image in it pops up.

How to add different data types in Linked list?

The basic idea is that I want to implement a linked list like the one which we generally implement in C. I need to store different data types in a single node. Is it possible to implement like this or I have to implement a linked list for each different data type?

I have an application program in which there is a form. In this form there are different text fields in which data is to be inserted by the user. These data's will be inserted into the database. I want to hit the database only once. So I need to store these data in a data structure before I insert into the database. I think it will be easy for me to handle the data in a linked list if I can have different data types in a single node.

I'm not sure about that the code which u have written will have different data types in single node. I have to try that.
And of course if anyone has any better idea than me, it will be very helpful.

How to add an orange link arrow on a report

Hi forumers !
I added an orange link arrow on a simple report (just to know how to add the orange drill down link). My report displays the following fields: CardCode, CardName and Balance taken from OCRD table.
I want to add a link arrow on CardCode such that if I click on it, I can see the BP card. For this, i added the image of an orange arow, then create a hyperlink on it. The query I used is 'http://$b1$/link?table=OCRD&key='+{OCRD.CardCode}.
When I run the report and click on the link, IE opens and I get the following error message :"unable to open the page".
I've tried several ideas found on this forum , but I still getting the same error message.
My questions are:
How can I do to correctly see the BP card using the link arrow?
Is there any security settings in IE I must do in order to display the BP card?

It is possible to see the iview in portal favorite without giving content admin role. How to add the iview created in portal to display in portal favorite.

Hi,
Your question is not very clear for me....According to my understanding i am replying u.
Portal favourites is itself an iview.
If u want to show some other iview in place of Portal favourites then you need to do some changes in your framework page.
Go to content admin and go to your framework page ---> select Desktop Innner Page
then u can see Portal favourites iview there.
If u want to show some ivew in place of portal favourites, then delete Portal favourites and add the iview which u want to display.

If you are trying to add an iview or URL to Compliance Calibrator you have to login as an administrator go into the configuration tab, and go to Custom tabs toward the bottom of the left screen. Here you can add custom URL links that will appear as tabs in Compliance Calibrator.

Hi sunil,
Create a JSPDynPage component(C) having 2 hbj:link whose hrefs point to these 2 iViews(A and B). U can get the href of the iView by previewing it(for A and B). Create an iview from the par component (C) and add it to the DLN so that it shows the links to ur iViews(A and B). U can make the Show Tray property of this iView (C) to false.

How to ADD field in iview ?

hi,
in portal-iview i want to add a field.
when i go to 'portal-content -> open the iview with right click -> preview' and then
do ctrl-alt-right-mouse click i got to the customizing of the fields.
i know how to HIDE fields there, but i don't know how to add fields ? in the list
of the fields the necessary fields are available, BUT i only have to options:
hide -> YES or NOT PERSONALIZED
any ideas ?

the root element of this fields does NOT have the option 'decorate'.
it is the quoata overview of ESS : sap.com/ess~quotas
the top of the tree has option 'decorate', but this is above the necessary table where
i select the data.
