How to Add Analog Devices Components to MultiSim v.9

I was wondering if it is possible to add the new Analog Devices component libraries to MultiSim Version 9.1.221 by a drag and drop in windows, or possibly through an import function in MultiSim.
If one were to download the MultiSim Analog Devices version 10.x and already have a licensed professional version of MultiSim 9.1.221 is this possible?

It is not possible to import components from a higher version of Multisim into a lower one. You can import older databases into newer version. Take a look at the tutorial below:

I saw the file named "MSCOMP_S.prd" in the folder:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Multisim Analog Devices Edition 10.0\database

The databases between the two products are not compatible and therefore cannot be merged. This database was created specifically for the Analog Devices Edition. Merging two "Master" databases is also not possible since the merge utility will only allow merging two "User" or "Corporate" databases.

How do I add Analog Devices symbols and footprints to component database?

Hi,
Analog Devices conveniently has a library of their component symbols and footprints for Ultiboard and Multisim. How can I add these to the library?
Is it a drag and drop thing? If so what is the folder location?
If I go thru the available database interface it doesn't allow for selecting footprints outside of the existing library and adding them.
In ultiboard I can open the footprints, but 'save to database' is not an option available.

I am not sure which file you downloaded, but I downloaded the Ultiboard Zip file (the small 3KB one). Each footprint is an individual footprint and apparently must be added manually to the database in Ultiboard.
How to do this? In Ultiboard, Extact them to a location on your drive and double click the footprint and it will load onto the screen like a normal board would. Now you have to goto DATABASE>DATABASE MANAGER. Once there you right click on USER DATABASE and add a family like say TRANSITORS. Then highlight your new family by clicking on it. Then goto the very top of the and you will see a little yellow "+" . click that and it will give you the option to add a new part from the current design to the user database. That is all you need. The footprint will be in the user database.
The next step is to assign it to the component in Multisim and you will have to refer to a turtorial on the NI Site in order to do this. I will post a link to it once I find it.
I do not know about the other file. Most of the time there are .PRZ files that the only thing you have to do is to go into the database manager of Multisim and select the user database. This will give you the option to do an import. If your files are a .PRZ file then you will be able to import using this option.

How to add back device in find my iphone

my iphone was stolen a few days ago & ive been trying to locate it since then & it finally showed up earlier. but i must have accidentally clicked remove device cz now it says no registered devices. i read in apple's site that the device will automatically be added the next time the device goes online as long as my mobile.me account is still configured in the device. will that really be automatic or will it still prompt for a password? Im still hoping that it will appear again, are there other ways i can add it back?

How to add i2C device to emulator for temperaturesensor in lesson2

I am running the course without the hardware sensors and am using a raspberry pi emulator with correct pin settings. This works fine but now I have arrived at the TemperatureSensor project in lesson2 and want to add the i2c device to the emulator. I think this needs to be done with the custom device editor. I clicked the i2C tab and managed to locate a jar file called TemperatureSensor. Is this the correct way of adding the device and what should the implementation class name be in this case? I tried the obvious name TemperaturSensor but that does not work.

It should be full qualified class name of the temperature sensor implementation located in the given JAR file.
Also, you have to specify required I2C slaves on this tab.
Note, also that your temperature sensor implementation must be compatible with the MESDK you use (e.g. sensor implemented for MESDK 3.3/3.4 will not work on MESDK 8.0 or 8.1). See API docs to implement emulation of your I2C bus at <MESDK>/docs/api/embedded-support-api.zip
