Nokia sw updater checks the product code of your phone for your phone language. If it is not defined for arabic language, you can not have it.

IOS, how to add Arabic in "Metadata and Uploads"

I want to add Arabic language in my app's "Metadata and Uploads" besides default English language. I clicked "English (Default)" drop-down list, but could not find Arabic there. Is it because it's a right-to-left language?
I've added Arabic localizable.strings in my app, now I need this language be added in itunesconnect page, so that my app can be listed in Arabic.

You should change language in Localization native development region, but I have seen that's limited to few country.
You can use this function to change default language, but i don't know if Arabic is done... (sample is to Portuguese)

Menu-->Settings-->Phone-->Phone Management-->Security-->Phone and SIM Card-->and set the LOCK CODE...
Default lock code is 12345.
Note that if you forget the Code then you will have to get it reset to the default code ONLY at Nokia Care..and there will be charges incurred for the service. You also tend to lose all your data during this Reset..so keep regular back-ups..

Are you talking about typing Arabic? If so, you just go to system preferences/languge & text/input sources and check the box for Arabic, plus the box for Show Input Menu in Menu Bar, plus the box for Keyboard Viewer. Then you select Arabic in the "flag" menu at the top right of the screen and type. Select Keyboard Viewer from the same menu to see which key does what.
For typing Arabic, Mellel is the best app. TextEdit, Nisus Writer, and OpenOffice should also work OK. MS Word does not support Arabic at all and Apple Pages has bugs.

Help with Nokia 6234

Hi,
Hopefully someone can help me with this question. My workplace has recently upgraded our work phone to Nokia 6630's - beacuse they have a Symbian OS. My personal take on the 6630 is that the menu system and keys aren't very intuitive, its big and bulky and not nice to text on.
I currently have a Nokia 6234 and I much prefer this phone over the 6630. HOWEVER it doesnt have the Symbian OS.
Is there a way to upgrade the hardware/software on my phone to the Symbian OS?

In the source list click devices (so far so good) then click the entry for your iphone or ipod. that doesn't exist. HELP asap

Hi, I see I haven't had any responses but these problems haven't been fixed.
I still haven't been able to transfer purchases from my phone to my comp so consequently have stopped purchasing on my phone.
I bought a couple of albums recently via itunes on my comp, and tried to tranfer them to my phone via a playlist, but the sync often crashes. One album transferred except for one song, and the other hasn't at all. What happens is that when I autofill from a playlist it often hangs for ages on the first song and then I have to quit the application altogether as nothing happens for ages. Basically, the whole Itunes software freezes.
After this I find it hasn't transferred any songs, but they do appear greyed out on my phone, which means it has transferred some basic data such as the titles, but not the song itself. When I try to repeat the process to complete the transfer Itunes tells me that it can't transfer because the songs are already on the phone, but they are not!! I can't click or remove on the greyed out items, so now I have a couple of almost full albums on my computer that I can't tranfer or install on my phone, and a whole bunch of greyed out songs on my phone that I can't play or remove!
The rest of the problems as above still stand. I downloaded the latest itunes OS updates but nothing's changed. I haven't done the very latest iphone update yet though because it says you need to make sure your stuff is backed up, and I don't want to lose the purchases I made on the phone that I can't transfer to my comp. I'm planning on uninstalling itunes completely and reinstalling but I have little faith that this will fix the issue.
Can someone please help at all?? I'm so sick of this!

Nokia 6234 - headset symbol - how do I remove?

I foolishly let the kids play with my mobile y'day and now there is a little headset symbol on the screen which I know means a headset has been connected (which it hasn't) and I don't know how to remove it. It's only bothering me because I keep getting a message saying "speak now" and then "no matches" - does anyone know how to disable it? It is a Nokia 6234

Using the nokia 6234 as a modem over infrared?

I want to use my nokia 6234 as modem to my Psion Series 5mx. Yes, I know it is an old machine but I still use it a lot... I have tried using the 5mx settings (initialisation string, speed, flow control) as given for older Nokia phones, but no luck. Anyone know if this can be done? If so, how? Thanks, Richard

Yes, this is the way I understand it to be, the $20/mo tethering fee and the $29.99 smartphone fee we are required to have. And keep in mind, a laptop/desktop computer can gobble up 2GB of data in a heartbeat. Well, maybe not quite that fast but you get my point.
I figure the tethering will be great if you're going on a vacation/road trip/whatever and you can take your laptop with you and have 3G speeds wherever you are. But you only need to sign up for the service while you need it. When you return home, you cancel the tethering service and go back to RoadRunner. (Or whatever ISP you have) Maybe that where the idea of a "one time fee" came from.

The name of my project is essai2 and i already put a class, LogoMIDlet and now i want to put my new class ComBasique, how can i do that?
and do you know if there is a program for bluetooth in order to connect my Nokia 6680 to another device that have a bluetooth?

how to change the class name after the project is created.In NetBeans, right click the class name either in the declaration or constructor, select Refactor --> Rename... and follow the dialog.
You can refactor --> rename anything that is not in a guarded block. For those, there are options via the properties window.

Nokia 6234, firmware update advices

I have a nokia 6234 since 2days ago. I updated to the last firmware, but it still have some features that were left behind.
The ones that I would really want nokia to add are:
1. The option to go forwards or to go backwards at video play. And also to the video section, if you exit a video, and you don't open another, to play where it was left when it's reopened.
2. The second thing is that the flash aplications don't have sound. I've copied a flash video on the phone, and when it played, it didn't have sound, and the same was for other flash videos that I tried, and I want to mention that I tried them before on the computer to see if they had sound, and they had.
P.S. Write here those who also have this phone, and they have some ideas on what to make better the firmware of this phone.

Other updates:
3. When I'm taking pictures on something on the move, the pictures made look like a fresh new painting that was accidentally dragged with something. If you can please add an option, something like a stabilizer like those from some of the older versions of phones from nokia or like those from the photographic cameras.

Can someone please help me with a VOIP problem on a Nokia E6220 classic?
How to add a VOIP internet phone number to my phonebook?? or call a VOIP number without 3rd party software??
The phone supports SIP and I successfully managed to get this working (i.e. it shows Registered through a 3G profile) but there doesn't seem to be any way to add a VOIP number to my contacts and/or call a number.
Almost every configuration guide I've read says something like: 'After setting up the SIP settings, you need to add an internet phone number from the menu 'Phone -> Settings -> Connection -> Internet tel. settings' (which in my case is not there).
To check the connectivity, I installed an application named 'Fring' which works with no problem but I do not really want to use this since it uses it's own SIP profile (meant to be slower) and there does not seem to be any integration with the Nokia contacts/phonebook.
Could anyone please help me? or perhaps tell me if there is any way to install the 'Nokia Internet telephoney application'?

Go to your contact and tap the edit button at the top right. Tap the the new phone field that appears. Scroll all the way to the end of the lables list and tap "Add Custom Label". Type in your label. The custom label will be added to the labels list and be available for your other contacts
