How to add/create Clock, Timer, Timecode or Countdown

Hi all,
I've just tried to find in these forum, with google etc. but I just can't find a way:
What do I like to do?
How to add a time/clock/timer/timecode, visible in the picture with
Minutes:Seconds:Hundredth (or Frames 25/30/60)
"xx:xx:xx"

Hi all,
here my results.
You can install it.
It shows up in Effects.
But as soon as you've put it in - Premiere Elements 8.0 crashes.
It even shows implemented time in the preview, but as soon as you work with it for more then 2-10 seconds it let's Premiere crash.
Seems like we have to wait for an update from the developer.

Currently have 3hrs of footage from an event....wondering how I can create a time lapse of it all in FCP. I want to make it shortened down to around 4mins if possible. How is this created?

Try exporting a reference quicktime of your sequence and reimporting it into your project. Drop it in a sequence. Use the Time remap tool (click and hold in the select edit points tool until you see the icon that looks like a clock and choose it). Click and drag the end of your clip until it's at the 4 min mark.

PS: This is for FCP 7. Earlier versions of FCP require use of the speed dialog (CMD+J) or Time Remapping in the Motion Tab of the viewer.

Hi,
In your report footer, set it to create a new page before it is printed (In 'Section Expert', select the Report Footer -> 'Paging' tab -> Check 'New Page Before' checkbox). Throw your Terms & Conditions into the Report Footer section.
If you already have a Report Footer that you want to keep, just split the footer into two sections (Right-click the Report Footer section -> 'Insert Section Below') and follow the same procedure for the newly created section.

How to add an "age / time counter" into DW?

Can anyone assist on how to add an age / time counter into DW?
In other words to say "Child X is now a years, b months old"? or "Product Z was launched A years B months ago"? Or, on the other hand, "You only have Z days & Y minutes left to enter"? With it updating in real time?
Apologies in advance if this is a silly / obvious question but I just can't seem to do it!

This isn't something you would add to DW, you would need to add it to your webpages. You would do this with javascript. Search the web for
'javascript countdown timer' for plenty of examples.

Wait, what do you mean by timer? If what you want is
something that says how much time has elapsed, then
create a field or local variable called, say,
"startTime" and store either a java.util.Date or the
current milliseconds value (like kajbj mentioned),
and then when you're done get the current time then
and then subtract.
If you want to wait for a period of time before
something happening, you can use Thread.sleep, or you
can use a java.util.Timer. Also apparently Swing has
a Timer mechanism, if you're using Swing.I read the original post as the OP wants to display a clock which shows for how long time the game has been playing / running.

How could you create 'Last Time Contacted' Smart Mailbox in Mail app Lion?

Hello!
For the purposes of maintaining regular contact with a large group of contacts in your address book:
How could you create a smart mailbox in the Mail App (Lion) which contained that last unique sent/received email from each individual contact?
So ideally just the last email per contact. For my purposes I would then sort by date and find the contacts I havent emailed in a while and re-initiate conversation.
I also thought that perhaps it would be possible through Automator? (I am not very familiar with how to use this app)
Any ideas/solutions would be very appreciated!

Okay, I think I just discoverd a workaround. This will work if you're lucky enough to already have a smart-mailbox folder that persists after close. (Somehow I had two such folders that already existed and weren't subject to the mysterious disappearances on closing the app; perhaps I created them in a previous OS X release?) Anyway, here goes:
Locate an already existing smart mailbox folder that's working properly. Select the folder (in the sidebar).
Duplicate that folder using the "Duplicate Smart Mailbox" Command. (It's on the contextual pop-up menu or available via the gear icon in the lower left of the window). This should produce and exact copy of the folder and the boxes inside, appearing at the bottom of the smart mailbox list.
Edit the duplicate folder to put the smart mailboxes you want in it, and delete the previous mailboxes (duplicates) that you don't want.
The new folder structure should now persist between launches of the app.
There you go. Not the most elegant process, but workable. Don't know if there's a method if you don't have at least one smart mailbox folder already though.

How can I create RT time-triggered events?

We have a RT VI running on a PXI. One of the RT event loops handles turning on and off digital outputs at precise times. Because we want high precision, the loop is running at a high rate (1 KHz) and every iteration, we check to see if it's time to do something. But this seems inefficient to me because the vast majority of the time, we're sitting and spinning. Is there a way to turn this from a polled system to an even-driven system? I'd like to schedule events to occur at given times and use an event handler to process them. But how do I schedule a time-triggered user event?

There are other RT timed loops running, but I'm not sure if it counts as "a lot of stuff." As for what controller, I'm not sure (I inherited the system) but MAX says it's a PXI-8187 with a SCXI-1102 and a PXI-1052 (SCXI) SCI with a few cards in it. Is that what you're asking?
How do I find out how much CPU is being used?
The time trigger is like this: The operator hits a "go" button on the host VI. This signals a sequence of on/off timed events that are relative to the time when the button was pressed. The relative timing sequence is fixed before the VI is run and does not change afterwards. It's also a one-shot -- each digital output is turned on once and off once, just at different times.
If the way we're doing it is fine, I'm cool with that. I'm just trying to see if I can simplify things. The previous developer had mentioned doing a lot to optimize, so looking for inefficiencies is fresh in my mind, but I don't know (yet) for sure if there are current problems.

How can I create a time zone neutral calendar?

Hi folks,
I have a particular problem that's been bugging me lately: my calendar is all screwed up. I live in the Central Time Zone, but often travel back to the Eastern Time Zone. The problem I have is pretty simple: when I schedule things in my calendar, I schedule them for the time I need to be there.
The most recent example: while on the road, I had a referral finally come through. So I made the appointment when I received the call, and the appointment was obviously back home. I entered it for 10 am, but when I traveled back home, my calendar displayed it as 9 am. I caught it this time, but that was a first.
Maybe this is a helpful feature for others, but I find that I never need it. I am always scheduling things for local time. I can't even imagine a scenario where I'd need a feature like this -- I'm sure they exist, but not for me.
I can't tell if this is an iOS feature, a Google Calendar feature (I sync my Google Calendar with Calendar.app on iOS, although I pretty much add and edit appointments on iOS) or a conflict created between the two.
If anyone has ideas on how to handle this, I'd appreciate it.

As far as understanding there is no direct way to cater this requirement.you have to work around
Create table in V/03 with combination of field Customer and delivery time
Create access sequence in V/07
Create condition for lead time in v/06 and assign the above created access
Then create condition record for the lead time condition
Then In IMG >> SD >> Sales >> Sales document >> define delivery agreed time
Then delivery time field available in sales tab at header/item level

I want to know how to create a One-time material, i.e. with out material master.
Actually we sell services (not physical goods) so every time the sevice description is created as a one time material. They say it is possible to create a One-time material on the VA01 screen itself just like we create sold-to party and choose an item category for the item in the same screen. Please help

I got carried away with your indication for a one-time mtl.
may be you can create a service material and use it every time to create these orders. In the Material description field, you can still change it in the SO, while creating the SO. However, you need to take the help of your technical team to modify the Billing form attached to your output type to pick up the material description from the underlying document and not from master data. I think this is possible and hopefully, will reolve your problem.(?)

Let me if I understood your requirement, and based on my understanding you can simple use the Link webpart (App) which is OOTB in SharePont 2013 and use this url
http://yourSite/_layouts/15/newsbweb.aspx to the link webpart (App).
This one is a simple solution, since its OOTB you would not have any overhead in maintaining it.

I need to create a field on one of our forms that takes the current time from another field and adds 3 hours to it. The JavaScript to pull the current time is:

A time string for a computation is very limited or error prone unless it includes the date. There are many locations in the world that still observe Day Light Savings Time or Summer/Winter time and the time either moves forward one hour or falls back one hour at a certain date and time as prescribed by national or local law. So if one want to add 3 hours 1 hour before the time sift for the spring that would be 11:00pm adding 3 hours would result in a time value of 3:00 am the next day and not 2:00 am the next day. The hour between 1:00 am and 2:00 am does not exist for the local time zone.

I need to create a spreadsheet that each row consists of a date, *clock in* time, a *clock out* time, a duration of the the total hours (ex: 9:00am - 11:00am = 2 Hours). With this being said, what is the function to calculate the total hours between each clock in and out time?

Do you know that the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide is available to every user from the Help menu ?
As far as I know, 9:00am -11:00am is not equal to 2 hours but to (-2) hours!
In cells of column C the formula is
=B-A (which calculates 11h-9h, the opposite of what you did)
in the cell C11 (in the footer row), the formula is
=SUM(C)

How do I create a time delay so the signal from my throttle is not too fast for an ESC?

I am using Labview to control a ROV using a Playstation 3 controller. When I throttle too quickly the ESC cuts off and resets. I talked to the manufacturer of the ESC and they said the probable cause was the signal was changing to fast for the ESC to follow andthey recommended putting a delay in the program to allow time for the ESC to read the throttle increments. My question would be "How do I do this?" Thanks

I'm not exactly sure how to do what you are talking about. I have been doing this for about a month and have taken only an intro class in Labview at my university. How to add created repository to subject area in OBI Answers

Hi All,
i have created a repository(i.e. Sh.rpd). i saved it and checked global consistency, its passed consistency check, i copied this Sh.rpd in to Nqsconfig.ini folder made it default,
cache is NO cache.
even if i did this, i am unable to see Sh.rpd in answers subject area i am unable to create a dash board using it.
please suggest me how can i show created .Rpd in subject area of answers.
its urgent for me to go forword.
