How to add css styles in html file generated from Report builder?

Hi,
I schedule report in web browser,but the generated report html file looks very simple and doesn't correspond with the other html files which have css styles.So I want to add css styles to the generated html file from *.rdf in report builder.That is to say I should integrate css style with myReport.rdf.Can anybody tell me how to do that?

i am not quite sure, what you want to achieve. did you try the DESFORMAT=HTMLCSS which generates inline-style-information.

Generate PDF from App. Srv. Produces Larger File than from Reports Builder

Good Day,
I have a the below issue , and need your help please.
When generating a PDF report from the application server, the PDF size is large (200 MB) while
same report is generated from the builder with smaller size 10MB.
- Report Builder 9.0.2.0.3
- The report contain only TEXT no Image , and contain arround 4000 pages ...
The steps done from Application server in command line :
- First I tested with several values for the parameter OUTPUTIMAGEFORMAT : file size stays the same or increases.
- Second I tested with parameter PDFCOMP (for PDF compression) with varying values from 0 to 9 : file size stays the same.
Kindly help ...

From report builder :
I open only the .rdf and generate the output to a PDF file.
The number of page is from the PDf generated from Report builder , for the other one I Cant open it with PDF reader...

Gif images in pdf file generated from Reports 6i

Hello,
When I generate pdf file from Reports Builder 6i and open this file with Acrobat Reader 5.0 I get that some of my gifs are black or other color.
When I generate the same report to the live previewer everything is OK.
Is it a Reports 6i bug? Any workarounds?

If u generate the report output to PDF from the report
GIF images doesn't show up properly . Generate it from the
application then i think it will print clearly.
If u try to print text followed by image and followed by text
again PDF will not print

Unable to Display Background Graphic From HTML File Generated from AI File

I am trying to figure out if this is a MAC OS X or Safari issue. I have already a message into the author of the plug-in as well as created a posting on the Adobe Forum.
I am following a tutorial on Lynda.com called "Design the Web: Illustrator to Animated HTML5 Canvas." I am using a plug in called Ai2CanvasMac with Adobe Illustrator, It essentially generates an HTML file from an Illustrator file. The Illustrator file has an embedded PNG file as a background image and a small vector graphic in front and centered. After the plug-in generates the HTML file, it automatically opens the file up in the browser. This is where I am getting mixed results.
Safari: The small vector does appear and in the center where the embedded background should appear. But the background image isn't displaying, only a white background is showing.
Firefox and Chrome: The page is totally blank. Not even the vector graphic appears.
It will work with two different approaches.
1. If I edit the source image web links in HTML file and use links from any graphics I find off the web. That works fine. The images are displayed in the browser window.
2. If I embedded PNG images from my desktop into the Illustrator file and generate the HTML file. That works fine too.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why I can't the graphics to display properly in the browser without doing this workaround?

How to send a mail to Lotus Notes R5 from Report Builder 3.0.5.8.0 ?

Dear sir,
I try to send a mail via Report Builder, and I got the following error message:
REP-4201:Error occured while initialzing the mail subsystem.
REP-4202:There is the problem with
the mail System.
We use the Lotus Notes R5 mail, not Microsoft Outlook or exchange. Could the Report Builder support it?

I tested DESFORMAT but it doesn't work as I wanted, I did something else that is more efficient, as I wanted to have a text file from a view,table,..., I used write block from F60UTIL librairy with forms builder and it works fine now 100%, I'm writing this maybe it could help some one with the same needs...

I can't figure out how to rename css style in mx. I have the
style selected in the proprety inspector. Is there supposed to be a
rename option at the bottom of the same dropdown box? There is
option to edit style and a few others in same dropdown box... but
no rename option. Please be specific... I have looked it up on the
internet... but still cant find the option.

Unfortunately, the answer is, you don't. The requirements for HTML displayed in an e-mail reader are very different than those for HTML displayed in a browser. The output of Muse won't work as an HTML e-mail. You could upload the Muse site as a website and provide a link to it in an e-mail, but the HTML generated by Muse is not suitable for direct display by an e-mail program.

I need to save all files from web and store onto a drive to reupload to a new domain name. I use Dreamweaver CS3.

First define your Local Site folder in Dreamweaver. DW will use this folder to store your site files.
Go to Manage Sites > New or Edit site. See screenshots.
Servers: Enter your remote server's log-in details. When complete, hit TEST to see if the connection is working. If all is well, hit SAVE.
From the Files Panel (F8), click on Remote Server to show the files that are currently there. Click the green Down Arrow to GET files from remote server to your local site folder.

Yes sorry about the "Acrobat Tag" , the question was more for the CS6 suite, and the management of DAE files in Bridge and Photoshop Extended in a CQ5 DAM workspace.
But nevertheless, it should be cool if Acrobat X 3D could import directly Collada files...

Call .html file in ABAP report (se38)

My question is, is it possible to call and execute an html file in a report?
For example, you have 2 containers in the report, 1 is for the html part and the 2nd for some ALV table (which is not the problem in this discussion).
The HTML part is a separate .html file on the server which works with a few .js files called in it.
I've done some research but couldn't find anywhere how read the HTML file in a report, and to work just like it does in a browser.
All I found was how to create a javascript from a report (only some simple examples like show a string..), or how to create an HTML file from a report and execute it in se38, but instead I need to know how to read an HTML in the report and place it in a container (which is a little more complex because of all the javascripts that it calls within).
Can anybody help me with this?

CS4 .html files made from .dwt lose all formatting in broswer

Hello all,
I've been working to customize a template I found online, then create a site based on that template. I've got the template visually worked to where I want it. However, any page that I create using the .dwt file is broken (loses all formatting) when viewed in a browser (Firefox or IE).
I can't figure out where I've gone wrong. When it happened the first time I figured I mucked up the template code when I was customizing (very little customizing, really just changing menu item names and adding a contact form). I started over from the beginning and it is happening again. All suggestions are appreciated. Screenshots of the the problem follow. First is the .html file created from my template in design view in CS4. Second is the page viewed in IE, all formatting lost.

Some attachments never see the light of day if you use the attachment method. You really need to use the small camera icon in the top toolbar.
However, in this case, seeing a picture isn't going to work, people need to see the live page to try and troubleshoot your problem otherwise it's all a guessing game :-)
Just a guess here, if you are seeing the page correctly in Dreamweaver, and the formatting seems to disappear when you upload the page, then I can only 'guess' that possibly the stylesheet isn't linked correctly,. or the stylesheet hasn't been uploaded, or something in the page or the stylesheeet is throwing your page out.

What sort of videos are they, and what app do you want to sync them to ? If they were taken with your camera and they are in a format supported by the iPad, then you could sync them to the Photos app - with the iPad connected and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, you can use the Photos tab on the right-hand side of iTunes to sync photos and videos (there is an 'include videos' tickbox on that tab) to the Photos app.
Or you can sync them to the Videos app. If you can add them to your iTunes library (File > Add To Library) you can then use Movies tab (instead of the Photos tab) to sync them to the Videos app. If you can add them to your library but they don't sync over because they aren't in a supported format then try doing Advanced > Create iPad Version and then try syncing those versions.
