How to add Digital signature in existing file without using save as option?

Hi,
I am using Adobe acrobat x pro for editing pdf documents from sharepoint, it's working fine but when i am trying add digital signature it shows me save as diloug box which i don't need because I want to edit that file directly on server location.
plz help me to resolve this problem!!

When a signature is applied in Acrobat/Reader, it forces a Save As. Otherwise it can't work.

Hi,
Yes, we have options to add digital signature to the pdf. We have one attribute called "Permissions" in "cfpdf" tag. If we provide permissions = 'AllowSecure', then system would allow digital signature for that pdf.

Hi Pawan,
Inorder to make use of Digital Signatures in forms, you have to first configure the ADS based on SSL and not Basic Authentication. Refer to the ADS Configuration guide for the same.
After the configuration using SSL as the security mode, you need to place a signature field when designing the Adobe form.
In addition you need to create a signature in Adobe Reader(if used to display the form) which you can use to sign the document at runtime.

Moving a file without using Cmd+Drag option

Is there any third party software or command such as Cmd+X to move folders on a finder window other than Cmd+Drag. I find Cmd+Drag annoying and very difficult to use in OSX as you have to keep pressed the mouse button till u have reached to the destination folder. what happens if u mistakenly release the mouse somewhere else..
I still don't understand what harm such a command could do. OSX protagonists tell that this is called cutting a file and is dangerous to the filesystem but I say I am not cutting any file/folder here.. file still stays at the same place till I have pressed something like Cmd+V which is what Cmd+Drag does...at least gives my finger a rest and time to think... Anyone else agrees with me?
Besides if unix command "mv" allows it then why not graphic UI.

You can also use your Mac's Automator program to move Finder items from one place to another.
Open Automator. Highlight "Finder" inside the Library frame to reveal all of the Finder's Actions. Drag the following two Finder Actions to the right-hand side Workflow pane, in this order:
1) *Get Selected Finder Items*
2) *Move Finder Items* -- under Options check "Show Action When Run" so that a dialog appears, allowing you to choose a destination folder. Otherwise the action would run without user interaction, resulting in the item being moved to whatever your default location may be. Select the "Show Selected Items" radio button, and check the "To" box. Consider carefully whether to check "Replacing existing files." If this box is checked and you were to move a folder from one location to another containing an existing folder of the same name, you would overwrite the files in the folder not being moved. To keep this from happening, leave "Replacing existing files" unchecked.
From the File menu select "Save As Plug-in..." Give your plug-in a name ("Move Item" e.g.) and save it as a Plug-in for: Finder. Thereafter, you'll find the newly named action on your Finder's contextual menu, in a submenu under Automator. Your new action is now ready to be put to use when you Control-click on a file or folder in the Finder.
Note: Be careful when working inside a Finder window in Column view that you have selected the +item itself+, and not merely Control-clicked on the item while its +enclosing folder+ is highlighted. Otherwise you might find that, for example, you've moved your entire User Library folder into your Utilities folder, leaving you to wonder later how that could have happened...

I made a servlet which is supposed to write the word "new" in a file everytime the server creates an instance:

I want to add digital signature on PDF file from C# code. I understand from web that there are some third party license required, or I would need to use Adobe Acrobat to apply digital signature on PDF using acrobat APIs.
What is the licensing mechanisim for acrobat is APIs? What is the cost effective way for applying digital signature on PDF files.

Forms - Why are fields blank and how to add a signature field

I created forms using FormsCentral and saved the PDF and I'm not collecting responses. I have clients fill out the form and email back to me. Some forms come back blank, making me think the person didn't fill out or save the form correctly, but when you put the cursor in the field you can see the information, so the form is totally useless. Why does this happen and how can I prevent it from happening? I read online about turning off the "Highlight Color" in the Form Preferences but this doesn't work.
The second question is about adding a signature field to a form created using FormsCentral. I couldn't figure out how to do it.

FormsCentral doesn't support digital signatures. You can add digital signature fields using Acrobat, but you'll have to collect the forms outside of FormsCentral.
The blank field problem is most likely due to people using Preview on a Mac to fill-in and save the form. Preview corrupts PDF forms and other types of PDFs in a number of ways and should be avoided. What you can do with such forms though is to open them in Acrobat, export the form data to an FDF or XFDF file, open a blank form, and import the form data you just exported, and save. If you exported the submission-enabled PDF form from FormsCenrtral, you will have to remove the usage rights in order to import/export the form data. You do this in Acrobat by selecting: File > Save A Copy

My digital signature increases the file size from 262kb to 15meg. How can I reduce the file size?

Actually, it sounds normal. Try turning off the preference "Include Signature’s Revocation Status When Signing" but be sure you understand the consequences... that space is being used for something that might be important.

Is it possible? I want to create a folders in Document Library but inside folders i do not want to upload a file instead of just i want to create a record. I will map my local file path to the records.

Hello Sankaran,
document library is to upload documents, without document you will not be able to add a record or Item to it.
for your requirement you can use a list and enable folders within the list and maintain the local path of the file as an item in list.

1) Open your existing pdf document in Acrobat DC.
2) Choose the 'Organize Page' option form the Tools pane on the right as shown below in the screen shoot.
3) Now at the top you will see all the tools to Organize the page, Click on 'Insert' & select 'Blank Page' from the drop-down to insert blank pages.
*Shortcut : If you are using windows computer you can use ' Shift+Ctrl+T ' key to insert blank pages.

    Could anyone provide me an example about how to generate digital signature for Google Maps service v3 in PL/SQL? We tried to upgrade our program using Google maps service from v2 to v3. We are using PL/SQl on background to send request to Google for geocoding. We found some sample code to register with digital signature, but none of them is based on PL/SQl. Notice I used Google business client ID "gme-XXX" and wallet.
