Hello!
For progressive profiling you'd actually want to implement a cloud component rather than a connector. FreshAddress and LeadSpend both provide email validation components that you can simply drag and drop onto your landing pages.
Theoretically you should be able to implement both the progressive profiling and the email validation components simultaneously. I haven't tested this use-case myself but have had success running the Demandbase and FreshAddress components on the same LP.

It really depends on how your portal is set up. And there are 101 ways this could have been done.
I've used the Home Page Framework as an easy to define and extend framework to show applications. I've used it both for ESS and MSS, Using the HPF requires that an application has an iView in the portal.
The main point to be made here is that this is not a Web Dynpro ABAP specific question - but rather one about MSS portal implementation - you would probably be better posting a question in either one of the ESS/MSS or Portal forums.
As it is not a WDA specific question, I'd ask that you kindly close this thread and reopen in another forum.

I you have the access key - you can copy the 901 table and create a new table along with your required field. v/03
Or
in the access sequence for the condition type - add 1 more step and add your field.
ie 10 - 901
and in 20 - your required field

How to add new validation for the iProcurement web page?

I am very new to OA Framework. Can you experts give me some guidance on how to proceed with the following customization?
My requirement is in iprocurement when you open a new cart and check out on "ICX_POR_SHOPPING_CART" there is a Project Field and reference to Charge account. If the users go to charge account (ICX_POR_CHECKOUT_SUMMARY) and enter the segment values ( which includes project segment) and enters a value in project segment other than '000000' with out entering the Project Field on "ICX_POR_SHOPPING_CART" the page should give error.
Please give me some suggestions on how to proceed.

I need the client side validation. By saying server side validation if you mean writing a triger on tables to validate then I am thinking to take that option as last resort.
Can you please tell me what is PPR ( Is it personalization?) stands for.? In my case the Charge Account is DFF.

Help - How To Add Email Account To ITunes

I’ve added a Gmail account to my iPhone (original model using iTunes 7.7 & OS 2.0) and Entourage and Mail applications. It works fine in both applications and the iPhone.
My problem is that it does not appear in the list of my older mail accounts in iTunes when I sync my iPhone. It appears that iTunes does not recognize the newly added Gmail account even though it is fully functional.
Does anyone know how to add an email account to iTunes so that its settings will be synced?

I am having the same problem. Two mail accounts on the computer but none show up in itunes. They did the first time I synced the phone and now they are gone, unfortunately the first time i synced I didn't sync the mail accounts and on the second sync I was going to set up the mail accounts but they've vanished. Very strange. I've searched and have seen another post on this problem, but no solution.

How to add a datbase in Cloud Control 12c

I was trying to add a database in cloud control 12c. I clicked on Targets -> database -> add. Then select a hostname. But the next screen doesn't have item found (no database found). I checked the server and the agent is running. I also upload and secure agent. Also tried stop and start agent a couple of times. What else I should try? I used same way added a couple other databases but dont know why this one doesnt work. Your help is appreciated. (BTW, a listener is discovered.)

Did you install the agent and the database using same user?
and the primary group of the user owning database should be same as the primary group of the user who installed the agent.

How to add email accounts on Ipad 2

I can't add email accounts on my Ipad 2. When I select Settings, Email-Contacts-calendar the Ipad returns to the begin screen. I don not get any possibility to select an email provider or add an account. Just the begin screen.

iphone does support hotmail, but Windows Mail (Windows Vista) does not support Hotmail. you also need to have a subscription to hotmail (aka windows live)....they no longer allow IMAP/POP access w/ free accounts. i purchased the Hotmail Plus subscription for 19.95 yearly ($1.66/month) - this is the cheapest one.
here are the Hotmail settings for iphone:
Select OTHER for mail account:

Can we add form validations in edge animate for particular input box

Hi Everyone,
I have created an animation which includes some forms to be filled by the user. For this I have created the form in which i used the j-query input box inside the edge animate. Its appearing perfectly as it should be. Now I want to validate this input box. For example, I have to put some numeric figure in the text field which is limiting to 100. Now how I can control the figure so that user can'nt put 101 and if in case user presses 101 on keyboard, the 100 appears in the text field by default. I mean to say, it should not exceed to 101.
I am a new bee for j-query and validations, so please help me out in this.

Yes it is possible.You want to make include both drop down and input fiels for particular column.Yes you can achieve this by using cell variant of column,using this you can make some cells are drop down and some are input enabled.
We have a stanard program WDR_TEST_TABLE,check the view VARIANTS_STANDARD in this go to the method WDMODIFYVIEW.
In the above methos they explained how to add cell variant to the column.

How to add more fields at level task for importing to MsProject

Hi everyone,
We would like to have the same number of fields either for importing as exporting; or at least, the fields that we need.
The problem is when we are configurating the fields for exporting from cProjects to MsProject, we found 81 available fields and then we don't find the same amount for importing (34). So, in some cases we don't find fields which were configurated for exporting and it is no posible to upload the information back because the field is no available for importing.
Does anyone knows how to add more fields for importing at the cProjects side?

Some fields can not be migrated because of MsProject designe. The above is the reason why cProjects' customizing does not offer the
mapping of the same nuember of fields.

I am trying to invoke a webservice that I successfully exposed as a WSDL Web Service using EBS Integrated SOA Gateway. I am using OBIEE 11g Action Framework which uses WebLogic.
Here are the steps I completed:
- I exposed a WSDL web service in EBS R12 via Integrated SOA Gateway
- I granted the access to this service in EBS R12 to user SYSADMIN
- I used OBIEE 11g to make a Action to call the Web service (using Action Framework) by searching for the WSDL
- When I try to execute the action: I get the error:
Action could not be invoked.
ServiceExecutionFailure :
Error invoking web service HR_PHONE_API_Service at endpoint http://ip-10-87-33-3.ec2.internal:8000/webservices/SOAProvider/plsql/hr_phone_api/ Missing <wsse:Security> in SOAP Header
PROBLEM: I am unsure how to add the credentials for SYSADMIN user and password to add the SOAP username/pwd to the outgoing call. Anyone on this forum know how to set up the SOAP to call with the correct credentials? I have been looking at the documentation but it is not clearly explained.

Here is what I type at the terminalIts seems normal becouse u try to create same user!
root@vis groupadd dba
root@vis useradd -g dba -d /home/oracle vis
root@vis useradd -g dba -d /home/oracle oracle Try this plz:
groupadd dba << i think this group already created!
useradd -g dba -d /home/applmgr applmgr << for apps node
useradd -g dba -d /home/oramgr oramgr << for db node
As you notice we define 2 different user under /home path!
