If there is no + sign to add events - go to Settings>iCloud>Calendar>On. Toggle the setting on and off.

This may sound a little stupid, have you tried turning on iCloud and test your calendar again.

To delete tasks off the multitask bar, click the button on the bottom/front of the phone twice quickly. This will dislay just the multitask bar at the bottom of the screen (generally you see Music, Phone, Mail, and Safari here). Then click one of those tasks and you'll see all the items in your multi-task bar start to wiggle. You can scroll across from right to left to see all the apps you still have running, even if you aren't using them. click the X on each of these to close the apss -- this will not delete them from your OS. I did this and am now able to create Calendar events again!

Thanks Skydiver199, but there is no toggle for icloud syncing in "mail, contacts, clalendars". Oddly enough I was able to go into icloud and toggle calendar to sync with icloud. This worked but I didn't necessarily want all my calendars, on all my devices to sync. i guess this is just another limitation.

How to add invitees to calendar events?

I just bought my wife and ipad2, and in her calendar, when she creates an event, there is no place to "add invitees" to it. Do we need a different calendar app? We got her signed up with an icloud email and turned on email, calendar and contacts, but still there is no place for her to include invitees in her calendar events.

Your event should be sync with some iCloud Calendars.
Create an event. Then tap the event in Calendars. Then tap Edit, then tap Invitees to select people from contacts.

Hello friends i m working with file transfer client server project in my college.In my client part i have used JTable with AbstractTableModel.
In my JTable it list the current directory files and directories under current directory .
now how can i add events to the the directories that it shows on JTable so that when i click on directory it displays files under that selected directory.

You can handle row selections with selection listener but if you want to handle double clicks you can use something similar to this:

He Nicholas, thanks for your reply. All the things you mention I already tried. As I wrote, if I do a factory settings reset and replace my backup, it works for about 1 of 2 days. I can add events again. And then suddenly, I cannot add anything anymore and the same problem comes back. So a factory restore works for a short period. That's maybe the most mysterious part. Someone else with ideas to solve the problem?

You can do this just put all the script in the mxml block in seperate AS file as shown below... Observe that I have included an AS file named Script.as and removed the script block form mxml and moved to this Script.as file. Place the Script.as file in your src folder ....

I am unable to pass parameter of type "ClientAction" in .setEnterClientAction.
how can I do this. If I declare by
ClientAction DateEvent = null;
then
StartDateBean.setEnterClientAction(DateEvent);
then it doesn't gives me any error but I am unable to initialize the value in "ClientAction" except null.
How can I do this?

Hello everybody. I am having problem with my calendar sharing. Can everybody show me how to share my event in calendar in my iphone to my girlfriend iphone. I want she can see my event in her iphone. My device's ios version in 5.1.1 and my girlfriend device is ios 8. Thank you very much.

Why can't i add events to calendars shared with me?

After i updated my MacBook Pro, i could not add events to the calendars shared with me. When i try to put an event in another calendar, it is not there.. I have the same problem on my iMac.

I was able to fix this problem with the information I found on the link pasted below. (I had two calendars, and the "default" calendar was not set to my iCloud calendar.)
