Hi All
     How to add Favorites in EP ? What and settings i need to do ?
    Can any one help me on this and this is urgent for me ?
    In general what is content we will keep in this Favorites ?

Hi,
You can "add Favorites in EP" by clicking on the image available next to forward link in the title bar of the portal
Various options like
Open in New window
Refresh
Personalise
Details
Add to Browser Favorites
Add to Portal Favorites
When you click on "Add to Portal Favorites" then the particular iview is added in the portal favorites iview section. which is displayed below the detailed navigation.
Example if you add the iview present in the Content administration --> K M Content
you can add the KM content iview in the favorites.
Now if you are present in the System Administration --> Portal Display --> Theme Editor then you can navigate to KM iview directly without going through Content administration --> KM Content.
This reduces the number of navigation paths.

    To the Windows Explorer shell it is possible to add favorite folders to the "Save as..." dialog screen (done so by dragging shortcuts to an open "Save as..." screen). [ see screendump for what I am referring to ]
    Now one would suppose the same is possible for the "Save As..." screen from within Adobe Acrobat Pro.
    Unfortunately, it is not: no possibility to add favorite locations there....
    This isn't productive at all, since my docs are on a separate disc in non-standard folders. Each time I wish to save PDF-scanned documents to the harddisk, I need to click my way through too much folders...
    Anyone know a way (registry edit perhaps?) that enables me to add favorites to the Adobe "Save As..." screen?
    (I really need it there, instead of e.g. creating shortcuts on my Desktop...)

    Ok, here are three solutions I tested, all seem to work in my copy of vista.
    The easiest: grab the 'places bar editor' from here: http://melloware.com/download/
    Moderate: use TweakUI, the windows XP utility.  You need to jump through some hoops to get it to run in Vista, but it seems to work fine.  Follow the instructions by n8barber a few posts down: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/700353.htm
    Hardest: edit the registry.  I added the string using a single \ in the path, but somehow when i exported it I show a double \.  I guess you will have to fiddle with this.

    for adding icons in the tree, u willhave to look closely to the
    data format for the tree.in the data format used for populating
    the tree we are supplying 5 fields. the state of the tree node
    (expanded or collapsed), the depth of the node w.r.t the parent
    node, the node value, the node label(what we see on the tree)
    and the node icon which we want to use. for the node icon we
    have to provide the entire path of the icon file. that's it.

    In credit memo request page, I need to add a new item.
    In the 'About this page', I checked for the view objects CMRequestVO and CMRequestLinesVO but the item is not available in the view objects.
    There is an item called Requestor Comments shown on this page. The item to be added is the Approver Notes. These 2 columns are populated through the workflow.
    How to find about the Requestor Comments item? If we know this then the Approver Notes item can be easily added to this page, I think.
    Also I enabled the FND_PERSONALIZATION_REGION_LINK profile option so that
    I can create a new item using personalization. But I could not see the create item icon in the create item field.
    Can adding the Approver Notes be achieved by personalization?

    You need to look at both VO's and see where to add the credit memo field.
    To extend the VO object...you have to use Jdeveloper.
    Check the below this site for the details steps:

    After extending the, you need to copy your objects under webserver and the bounce the apache.
    Then you need to do personalization..
    Here are the steps for personalization:
    Click Personalize page and click "Expand All" under Personalization Structure..
    Go to the corresponding Advance Table and Click on Create Item. This will create a Column Field
    1) Enter Unique ID-- ex; CreditMemoEx
    2) Rendered -- True
    3) Click Apply
    In the advance table search the newly created "CreditMemoEx"
    Click on the Create Item field again.
    1) Select Item Style " Message Styled Text"
    2) Data Type -- Varchar2
    3) Enter the Prompt = "Credit Memo"
    4) Scope -- Enter the full path of VO object...ex: /xx.../oracle/apps/...
    5) View Attribute -- Enter Exact name the attribute defined in the VO object.
    6) Enter other attributes required for Business.
    7) When Finished Click Apply.

    You have a separate app on you Mac called iBooks. You import the pdf in iBooks.
    (this is what the icon of iBooks looks like)
    Then you start iTunes and connect your iPad of iPhone. You click on the iDevice icon on the white top bar (right next to the three dots). In the sidebar you select books. In main screen you select "Synchronize books" and "selected books". You will be able to select all the books and PDF's you imported in the iBooks-app.
    Then you sync your iDevice and PDF will be put on that device.  (the picture is in Dutch, but you get the idea...)

    Do you mean how to add properties to a Step Type?
    Steps are instances of Step Types so you can not add properties. If you need to add property to say a Numeric Test Limit step type, then you have to create a Custom Step Type based on a Numeric Test Limit Step Type then add your additional properties. Check out the TestStand documentation for Custom Steps Type.
    Depending on your needs you might beable to use the Add Attributes to meet your requirements, depends on what TestStand version you are using. This could save you the bother of having to create your own step type.

    I have to send The post goods issue through ALE-IDOC, this have to create the Goods Receipt in the receiving side.
    I came to know that the message type for this is MBGMCR , when i am trying to add this in the distribution model , it is prompting an error message that this message type belongs to BAPI.
    So , to send the required data , i have to add the BAPI.

    The Portal Favorites iView contains a freely definable list of links for direct access to items that you use regularly. This can include the following:
    ●     Portal pages and iViews that run as full-page applications
    ●     Documents, folders, and other items in KM repositories
    ●     External items, such as Internet pages
    So we can't do it for Roles.

    well one way could be the following.
    Go into KM-Content --> Repository "userhome" --> select the user you want --> navigate into his folder Favorites --> create a new internal link in this folder to the folder you want
    In the favorites of the user there is now a link to the desired folder and after clicking a new window will be opened. You can copy this internal link to the favorites folder of the other users you want.
