How to add Hotmail account to ProfileManager User Profile?

Hi everyone!
I was wondering how I can add a Hotmail account to a user profile in Profile Manager? I only see POP/IMAP settings, but haven't been able to find those settings for Hotmail by googling.

You can configure Hotmail to work on the iPhone. It works very well, I have had no problems with it. After upgrading to a Hotmail plus account, follow the instructions-

I paid the $20 for the Hotmail plus account and was receiving mail on my Iphone within a half hour. It Rocks.

To summarise it should be possible to set it up in Apple Mail as (preferably) an IMAP type account, or also a POP3 type account. So far there does not seem to be a way to add the Contacts or Calendars to the respective programs on the Mac. Windows users can use Outlook and get all three.

I can´t configure my HOTMAIL account: it only receives email, but doesn´t send it.
I have tried to add the account as Exchange, as Outlook and as OTHERS, and the result is the same.
Can somebody help me with that?

You cannot add columns dynamically. But you can define a maximum number of numbers and then hide unused columns in your form useing SET_ITEM_PROPERTY(..,VISIBLE, PROPERTY_FALSE);

Then it will bring you to a page in which you can sign in or create a new account. Create a new account following the steps and then you are set. How to add a separate community of user (customer) in the same REALM?

I have an existing default REALM we have been using for internal users (i.e employees). Now I have a new community of users (i.e customers) but I want to use the same REALM and the same policy but be able to separate those two communities into two different containers.
current realm where employee accounts are: cn=users, dc=mycompany,dc=com
I want to be able to add customer accounts in the same realm but I need also those customers accounts to not be viewable when a user perform a search in the directory using the self service console.
How do i do that? I have been researching the documentation but I'm not looking for what I need.

I guess that this was the main reason to have multiple realms.
When users are in the same realm your ACI covering the subtree (cn=users in this case) allow people to search in this realm.
You could of course add a special attribute to the orcluserv2 or create a new objectclass customer with this attribute. Then - when you create a new user in the realm this needs to ba added. However - this is far from trivial - and furthermore you need to ensure that all tools (eg oiddas) support this - which is even more difficult to accomplish.
In the past I have done this in the following way:
Created a subtree cn=regionalmanagers,dc=mycompany,dc=com
Within this tree I had entries that were composed with my own objectclass. This objectclass contained a group (uniquemembers) and I added the users (cn=John.Doe,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com) to this group. Then I checked from the application with dbms_ldap calls if a user was a regional manager.

I can't add email accounts on my Ipad 2. When I select Settings, Email-Contacts-calendar the Ipad returns to the begin screen. I don not get any possibility to select an email provider or add an account. Just the begin screen.

iphone does support hotmail, but Windows Mail (Windows Vista) does not support Hotmail. you also need to have a subscription to hotmail (aka windows live)....they no longer allow IMAP/POP access w/ free accounts. i purchased the Hotmail Plus subscription for 19.95 yearly ($1.66/month) - this is the cheapest one.

You need to set it up as a POP account. Use the following details:
*POP server:* pop3.live.com (Port 995)
*POP SSL required?* Yes
*User name:* Your Windows Live ID, for example [email protected]
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
*SMTP server:* smtp.live.com (Port 25)
*Authentication required?* Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
*TLS/SSL required?* Yes
