How to add libraries to AdminServer in WLS

Hi, I'm using JDev12c and WLS12C.
I have this error when I try to deploy a WAR file:
Error: Unresolved Webapp Library references for "WebAppModule(myapp:myapp.war)", defined in weblogic.xml [Extension-Name: adf.oracle.businesseditor, exact-match: false], [Extension-Name: oracle.adf.desktopintegration, exact-match: false], [Extension-Name: adf.oracle.domain.webapp, exact-match: false], [Extension-Name: jstl, Specification-Version: 1.2, exact-match: false], [Extension-Name: jsf, Specification-Version: 2.1, exact-match: false]
I read that I have to include those libraries to the server that I'm using (in my case AdminServer), how can I do it?
Edit: Now I know that libraries have to be listed is "deployments". My WLS console shows me 27 deployments, but none is "adf.oracle.XXX" or "jstl", "jsf".
Where can I find those libraries?
Thanks.

Thanks Timo and dvorah21.
I think the problem was that I didn't selected "Oracle JRF - 12.1.2.0 [oracle_common]" when I create/modify a domain. Now I have another question.
When I select that option, it selects automaticly "Weblogic Coherence Cluster Extention", and this one, adds three more steps for create/modify the domain in the Configuration Wizard: "Database configuration type", "Component datasource" and "JDBC test".
I used to use 10g and 11g versions of WLS, and I don't remember to have to add some database configuration in the wizard, because I didn't needed "Weblogic Coherence Cluster Extention". Now it seems like it's obligatory for create a domain with JRF.
I'm using a MySQL database, so I entered RCU data (as required in "Database configuration type") to configure my domain, and it gives me an error because I don't have "component_schema_info" table in my DB, then Wizard ask me to entered info for some "OPSS" component schemas (I don't know what this are).
So, my question is, where can I find info for enter that DB data correctly?
Thanks.

  • JDeveloper BPEL-INF/lib. How to add libraries to a bpel project.

    Hi.
Include libraries in BPEL-INF/lib in a Jdev 10.1.3.3 bpel project is not so trivial. Does anybody know how to make that the same ant task provided by JDeveloper for deploy bpel process include the libraries needed in the BPEL-INF/lib?? or is there a better option than modify the ant task? how can a i do it?? My actual solution is include the BPEL-INF/lib by hand in the jar generated by the jdev ant task, but this approach is so tedious.

If you use code for someone elses distributed jar file, you will have to ship their jar file with yours and include it in your classpath when launching you program.

  • How to add libraries

    Hello,
I am developing a web application on JDeveloper 10.1.3, using a Lotus database. I have in my Java code:
    NotesThread.sinitThread();
    Session as = NotesFactory.createSession(host, name, password);
and I know the NotesThread class is in lotus.domino.NotesThread.
I know this class is in Notes.jar, which I have.
But where shall I put it, and how do I tell JDeveloper where it is? I tried "Manage Libraries" but I didn't understand much...
    Thanks,

  • How to add a button in top ribbons of ALL library types (Not just document libraries)?

    Hi there,
How to add this custom button on all Library Types (Not just document libraries)?
RegistrationId="101" RegistrationType="List" adds this button to Document Libraries only - which does not work for me.
    Thanks so much.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to add a custom button on the ribbon of all the library.
You can refer to the following code snippet, it would add a custom button “Site Settings” on the ribbon of all the libraries.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

  • How to add user libraries to FPGA palette?

    Hi,
I know how to add a VI to the LV user library, but how can I make it easily accessible in the FPGA blockset palette?
    Regards,
    Simo
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Simo,
you can modify your LabVIEW-palettes via
Tools -> Advanced -> Edit Palette Set.
I would suggest to save your own VIs in the usr.lib directory - just modify the palette-links.
So you can include your VIs easily in a source-distribution (just one mousclick away) and will not forget your own extensions...
    I hope this helps.

  • How to add new third party jars into JDev - quick question

    Hi All
We have some additional jars needed to include for use with our current ADF application.
These jars are not for ADF components.
These jars are for API calls to other 3rd application.
We're using standalone weblogic to run our ADF app.
How do we include our 3rd party jars in JDev ?
Do we need to include new paths in standalone WLS to pick up these new 3rd party jars in order for our app to work ?
    Thanks

You can add libraries to WLS classpath, but this is not good approach if you need to replace them later(because you must restart WLS to pick new version)
To include jars to ADF deployment, open Model or ViewController project properties and include path(s) in Project Source Paths->Java Source Paths.
Then edit your deployment profile (right click on application -> Application Properties... ->Deployment -> Your Deployment Profile), go to Application Assembly and mark these libraries(also, for each library you can specify target folder, for example "lib")

  • How to add a library (libSomeRandomlib.so) to a project....??

Ok, so I've been trying to get CERN's ROOT program/libraries to work in an xcode project for a while, but I'm running into one really weird error, and I think I may just not know how to add a library to a project correctly.
Suppose I create a new Xcode C++ command line tool project. I hit Build and go, and it gives me a nice little Hello World! in the console, just as it should. If I then click on the project in Groups & Files, go to Project>Add to Project..., and choose, say, libCint.so, from my root/lib directory, and click ok, then click Build & Go, I get an error in the console:
    dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/libCint.so
    Referenced from: /Users/paulthompson/Documents/Programming/Build Products/Debug/LibraryIncludeTest
    Reason: image not found
    sharedlibrary apply-load-rules all
Data Formatters temporarily unavailable, will re-try after a 'continue'. (Cannot call into the loader at present, it is locked.)
My assumption is that either I'm missing a step in the process of adding a library, or else there is something jacked up with the libraries themselves. Anyone have any advice?
    Thanks,
    Paul
EDIT* Oh, I should mention that the actuall binary that gets built after adding the library WILL execute properly in the Finder, or from terminal, just not with the Build & Go, or Go commands from within xcode.

So, since I don't want to deploy with the environment variable set, I should ask, what IS the correct, MacOS X way to do it?
The best way to find that is to look at how Apple does it. They put frameworks in /System/Library/Frameworks and regular shared libraries in the standard places. You can do the same. Put your frameworks into /Library/Frameworks and your shared libraries into /usr/local-based paths.
If you want to create stand-alone executables that can be installed via drag-n-drop, you can put shared libraries inside the application bundle. If your shared libraries/frameworks are elsewhere, you will need some sort of installer to get them installed.
I've been sifting through Apple's developer documentation but I have yet to find a concise, straightforward explanation of how to add shared libraries. I'm horribly confused at this point. Is there a good tutorial available anywhere for both the general unix case of linking to dylibs and .so's, and the Mac specific case?
Hopefully someone else knows an answer for this one.
*EDIT* I do already have the variable defined both in ~/.MacOS/environment.plist and also in Xcode as an additional user variable.
I'm not sure about the whole RPATH thing. Setting environment.plist will define environment variables for use in the Finder, but that is really a hack. There are better ways to do it, but if you are porting some open-source programs, that may be the only way. You should be able to define those variables in Xcode. You have to selected the debug executable under "Exectuables"

  • How to add a certificate to IIS global "Server Certificates" list using PowerShell?

Hi, been surfing the web for an example on how to add a certificate to the "global" IIS "Server Certificates" list using PowerShell but to no luck. I already have code in place on how to tie / associate a specific website with a specific cert but not how

Hi and thanks for the suggestions!
Although it comes close, the suggested code example points on howto import / incorporate .pfx files - I am getting fed by .cer files which I need to add into the IIS console using POSH.
I tried explore the IIS.CertObj object but was not able to work out if this one could be used for importing / adding .cer files into IIS! However, launching the following command from a POSH console with Import-Module Webadministration already

able to reference the IIS.CertObj object.

  • How to add a new Shared Variable programmatically to an existing and deployed library?

    Hi there!
I am trying to accomplish this on both LabVIEW 8.6 and LabVIEW 2010 and seems like it's not any different in this situation.
My case: A project has a library with 4 Shared Variables (SVs). The library and the variables are deployed (visible in Distributed System Manager 8.6/2010). I want to add 2 more variables into this library. It is possible to do this manually from Project Explorer window's options menu. But while running an application it has to be done programmatically. Can I provide the library reference to the one currently existing without creating a new one?
"Create Or Add Library To Project" function in the Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) toolkit does not help in this case. That function, as the name suggests, just tries to create a new library in the project.
    Two possible methods:
The function "Add Shared Variable To Library" (DSC>EngineControl>Libraries & Processes) needs a library reference, which could be provided via "CreateOrAddLibraryToProject" function, but this function tries to create a new library, and if I provide the path of the existing library it throws an exception that the library already exists in the project (yes, as I wrote above, I need to add new variables to an existing and deployed library).
    OR
The function "Create Shared Variable" (DSC>EngineControl>Variables & I/O Servers) will add Shared Variable in a process, and not physically in a library file, and the problem (limitation) with this approach is that it doesn't allow to add complex data type Shared Variables (for example in LabVIEW 8.6 it has only 4 datatype options in input parameter, and even in LV2010 it does not have "Image" datatype that I need).
The scond method is my preferred method as it allows to work on Online Shared Variables and doesn't create them physically in libraries (and this is good as the variables' scope remains only till the Variable Engine is running). But it doesn't support advanced data types, and the first method is powerful in terms that it supports to virtually any datatype, it just seems tricky to get that reference to the library.
    Any tips?
    Thanks ahead!

       <<<<>>>>
As the above two images show, while a library does not exist, it is easy to use the "CreateOrAddLibraryToProject.vi" which will add a new library to the project (if it doesn't exist on file system, a new library will be created) and that way, using the reference (the green wire going out from the function and the Case Structure, can be used to add Shared Variables to the library. The problem was what to do when a library already exists in the project, how to add more variables to it. I was looking for a way to get a library reference, and somehow I could not see it inside a Project's property (VI Server functions). Hence I posted the question. And upon continuing my search, I found it on the Application's property list.
I hope it was useful for someone else as well. And thanks for the replies. Please share a better idea if you have.

how to add adf faces in component pallete of jdeveloper 11g?

    Hi,
the replacement of ADF Faces HTML components in JDeveloper 11 is Trinidad. For existing applications, a migration path will be provided in JDeveloper 11 production. I wouldn't recommend configuring ADF Faces in JDeveloper 11.
You an configure ADF Faces Components in JDeveloper 11 by :
    - Tools --> Manage Libraries
    - Create a User Library
    - select ADF Faces adf-faces-impl.jar
    - Enure the namespace is not af or afh but something different to not cnflic with teh ADF Faces RC components
Note that adding the ADF Faces components to the component palette will not make them show in the ADF binding context menu nor will it automaticaly set up the web.xml file. The components are available as any other JSF library set
    Again, I wouldn't go this way ;-)
