Could you help me, how to add marker on the clip? Not on the sequence. I need the marker to moving as I moving clip in the sequence.

Ohhh... I just had to switch to the source monitor. OK. Just I don't use the source monitor usally. Only the program one. Thank you. It worked!

Hey all, I'm new to DVD studio and I'm trying to fiqure out how to add more than one clip to a Template drop zone. I'm using a 6 button template. I've named each button .. Football, Baseball, Hockey ...etc.
How can put in MORE THAN ONE CLIP in the Football track/drop zone. So when someone clicks on Football they can see 3 examples.
Do I need to create something to link to that Football button?

You can edit the segments to be used in FCP or Motion so that the asset drop in has three examples
Another way (if you want) is to make the entire menu outside of DVD SP so that the background layer is an m2v and the items are revealed/masked to some degree

Note that you can also use a basic overlay to do this. The overlay would be just solid black instead of the arrows/circles things I use in that example.
For instance make the text one color and the box over the movie another (You can make it blue and the box red lets say) Draw a region over both for the button. Map blue for highlights/transparencies for normall/selected/activated and the same for the Box

Importing tape into Imovie 11. How do I import all the clips as one long clip?

How do I import all the clips as one long clip? I have 45 min of footage and I want it as one long take I can edit in Final Cut ProX. When I import, all the clips are split up when the scene cuts. I just want the 45 min in one long video.

iMovie will import the tape as if it is direct from the camera. It will sense the scene breaks and put all the clips in chronological order.
If you want to import it as one long clip, I suggest you load the tape into the app that you edited the tape with. Then export it out as a QuickTime movie in the DV codec. You can import this MOV file into FCPX or iMovie.

i am creating a file which contains more than 100 records.
In ABAP i have internal table with on field(135) type c.
some time record have length 120, somtime 130 its vary on each record.
but i would like to add space at the end of each record till 135 length.
Can you please help me how to add speace at the end of record.

So why did you said that in your first posting? My glass sphere is out for cleaning...
Instead of type c use strings and add spaces until they have the appropriate length.
loop at outtab assigning <pout>.
while strlen( <pout>-val ) < 135.
concatenate <pout>-val `` into <pout>-val.
endwhile.

but after doing it is giving me the following error

1. Go to transaction BD64.
2. Click on Change button.
3. Expand the corresponding model view.
4. Expand the corresponding message type (i.e MATMAS).
5. Place the cursor to 'No filter set' and double click.
6. Click on Create Filter Group.
7. Add your filter from here ...
8. Once done, save the model view.

If you are getting HTML code from one of these slideshow.com places, you can add this code to your iWeb pages with a little bit of work. Two things to keep in mind...1. No way to do this via iWeb directly, so it involves editing the published html files, and 2. Because iWeb republishes the html files whenever you update the your webpage, you will lose your changes and have to redo them to add your slideshows back.
The general directions are as follows...
1. Decide where you want your slideshow and know exactly what dimensions you need.
2. Insert a text box onto your page and adjust its size to exactly your dimensions.
3. Type in some uniquely identifiable text like, "SLIDESHOWHERE" without changing the font or anything else...just type it in.
4. Publish your page with iWeb.
5. Find the html file associated with your published page (either on your iDisk or in a folder depending on how you published) and open it in any text editor (like Microsoft Word, or Textedit, or anything). You may need to set your text editor to "ignore rich text" or to "show HTML source".
6. Scroll through the html file and locate your placeholder text, e.g. "SLIDESHOWHERE".
7. Replace the placeholder text with your html code and save your page.
That's it. You should see your slideshow element show up in Safari where you placed the text box in iWeb!

The Duration of Stills is set with Edit>Preferences to the number of Frames required, where ~ 30 Frames = 01 sec. of Duration.
Unfortunately, the Duration cannot be reset (Edit>Preferences) for material that has already been Imported. The procedure is to Delete those Imported Stills, and make the change, then re-Import them, and you will get the Duration that you have reset.
The only other option at this point is to manually Click-drag on the Head, or Tail of each Still in the Timeline, to adjust the Duration. I do this with the Info Panel open and visible to make it easier. Personally, unless I am well into the editing process, the Delete, change and re-Import option is my choice.

PS - the ability to alter the Duration en masse for Imported Stills in the Project Panel has just been added in PrPro CS5. I do not know if it has been added in PrE 9 though.

How to import logo to the clip and display it during the whole clip

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.
I am doing a project now from various DVDs I've already made from a while ago.
Now I will use these them in a commercial things so I want to add a logo to the clips to keep my rights ...etc.
Here is the situation:-
1) Importing the clip file into Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.
2) Importing the logo image file I want to use.
3) Right click the clip file and choose insert.
Now I want to know how to import the image file to the clip so it is being there during the whole clip?
I've tried several times to import it but found it displayed seperatey after or before the clip or in the middle while I want to be displayed during the whole movie.
Also it is big when I displayed while I want to resize it to be in the top right of the clip.

with more thought and time ...but this gives you the basic ideas..read bout track mattes and transparency..etc...

becomes transparent..letters, black opaque, gray transluscent
transparent background
letters black and white are shown as is with no track matte
transparent background with track matte...
now white letters act as mask and allow image through only white letters

How to add handles on .mov clips from an AVCHD camera

I am trying to put transitions between the clips I have just logged and transferred from my AVCHD camera. They are imported as finite .mov files, without any in and out points. I know that I have to add handles to insert transitions. How do I change the in and out points? When I open the clip in the Viewer window and play with the little slider towards the bottom, it seems to change the overall length of the clip. Is this correct?
