How to add metadata to multiple images via Template

Hi
Wonder if anyone can tell me if it is possible to add Metadata to multiple images using a metadata template.  I see that I can add to multiple using Organizer but with that you have to type in the metadata.  In Elements 11 I can do it using a template but only for 1 image at a time.
Is there a way to do this in Elements 11 or Organizer?
Thanks in Advance.

In the File properties dialog of the editor you can enter your values in the metadata tabs, then use the 'Import' button on the bottom of the dialog, switch to 'Export' and that exports your values as a template.
As far as I know, this is to be used in the advanced dialog of the downloader : you can use your templates at import time for a batch of images.
Otherwise, when you have selected many images in the organizer, you can click on the 'Add IPTC data' button in the tags panel on the right side : you have to enter the data which will be applied to all the selected files.

  • How to add metadata on import

    I can not for the life of me figure out how to add keywords on importing images. I have scoured the net looking for answers and cant find anything. I see the "Add Metadata from", but there is nothing underneath it where you can add information. The tutorial video from Apple shows fields underneath where you can add information, but I cant figure out how to get that to show up. This is driving me craaaazzzyy!! Any help sure would be appreciated!

    I'm having the same issue as the image in the previous post. Anyone else have this too or a fix?
    I am running 10.5.4 and the most recent version of Aperture w/ all updates
    I have read thru the suggestions and deleted the plist files with no fix.
    I also re-installed and the issue remains. The machine I am installing it on was just recently formatted and re-installed.
    This is very confusing, looking forward to any help or suggestions.
    Thanks,

  • How to add metadata to split tracks

    I know how to do it to a single track but when i click on the next track it still show the name from the previous track. How to add metadata to split tracks for like a mixtape?

    Thanks for the screenshots, very helpful.
    Once you split them into different tracks, and each track is a different file on disk (as shown in your Windows Explorer / Finder screenshot), you'll want to:
    Go through each file
    Enter the desired metadata via the Metadata Panel (see below)
    Save each file
    If you're working with MP3 files, the relevant fields are the ID3 tags shown in this dialog:
    If you're saving as WAVE files, the relevant RIFF metadata fields are shown in this dialog
    Once you enter the info you want into those fields and the save the file, then it should show up in Windows Explorer which is what I think you're going for.

    Here's a little video from Adobe TV that shows you how to create borders in Photoshop Elements. If you don't have Photoshop Elements, skip the first 1:25 of the video, the rest of the steps apply to Photoshop as well:

  • How to add byte[] array based Image to the SQL Server without using parameter

    how to add byte[] array based Image to the SQL Server without using parameter.I have a column in table with the type image in sql and i want to add image array to the sql image column like below:
    I want to add image (RESIM) to the procedur like shown above but sql accepts byte[] RESIMI like System.Drowing. I whant that  sql accepts byte [] array like sql  image type
    not using cmd.ParametersAdd() method
    here is Isle() method content

    SQL Server binary constants use a hexadecimal format:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms179899.aspx
    You'll have to build that string from a byte array yourself:
    byte[] bytes = ...
    StringBuilder builder = new StringBuilder("0x", 2 + bytes.Length * 2);
    foreach (var b in bytes)
    builder.Append(b.ToString("X2"));
    string binhex = builder.ToString();
    That said, what you're trying to do - not using parameters - is the wrong thing to do. Not only it is insecure due to the risk of SQL injection but in the case of binary data is also inefficient since these hex strings are larger than the original byte[]
    data.

    Write the file types in pattern Input string, separated by a semicolon ;
    For example:  *.vi;*.doc;*.jpeg;*.xls
    This should return the set of files with matching extensions

    Take a look at the link shown below where drawing is done on a JButton -- you can draw your image on a JLabel too.

    By drawing on a JLabel or JButton, you can add tooltiptext when needed.

  • How to add metadata to .xdp form

    Hi,
    I am currently investigating how to add metadata to an xdp form in LifeCycle Designer. I have read the help contents that Adobe provide however I am unclear as to how exactly the metadata is included with the form. Are there specific elements that are included in the xml? Also is the metadata that is included specific to a field, area, etc within the form?
    The metadata I wish to include with the xdp form will contain information regarding the manner in which the form can be used at a later stage, for example whether a form can be printed. In this case I would envisage the following: <printable>true</printable> as part of many different elements within the metadata.
    If anyone can offer any insight into this it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the reply,
    The way you have described seems to be for individual fields. Is it possible to include metadata that applies to the whole form rather than just an individual field. I have been looking at manipulating the xml. I am not familiar with LiveCycle Designer and as such I was thinking that you could possibly add elements to the xml in the following section:

    As you may see from the code snippet above I have added three elements: name, editable and printable. The information within these elements would be extracted at a later stage and used by another application to make decisions such as is the form printable, it the form editable etc. Do you know is this the correct place to be adding these elements? The addition of these elements does not cause an error within Designer so I am assuming that there should be no problem accessing / modifying these fields later?
    Thanks

  • How to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g

    Can anybody please help me to understand how to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g and how to map the Form fields with the Data Elelment.
    I tried it with 10 g set up as well, but I found following things
    1) PDF form template mapping was only available whenever we provide sample data with the same filed name and also number of fileld should be same.
    2) According to user manual that I have, it says that whenever I click on the form field while mapping the form field data elements, it should open a new window having the corresponding mapping details.
    But in my case no new window was opened when I clicked on the form field while mapping.
    Please help me out since i am beginner with BIP and have to move forward with Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g.

    I am new to BIP-11g. But i have created rtf, pdf templates in 10g. I am migrating reports to 11g. If you know How to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g , Please let me know.
    In 10 g you need to do the following things
    1. First you need to create data template.
    2. Then you have to upload pdf template.
    3. After you have uploaded the pdf template, Map Form Fields tab will appear. Then you can map the form fields.

    My Question is ,how to add Subpartition to the exiting subpartition template.
    >
    Follow the example in the section for 'Modifying a Subpartition Template' in the VLDB and Partitioning Guide
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25523/part_admin002.htm#i1007904
    >
    You can modify a subpartition template of a composite partitioned table by replacing it with a new subpartition template. Any subsequent operations that use the subpartition template (such as ADD PARTITION or MERGE PARTITIONS) now use the new subpartition template. Existing subpartitions remain unchanged.
    If you modify a subpartition template of an interval-* composite partitioned table, then interval partitions that have not yet been created use the new subpartition template.
    Use the ALTER TABLE ... SET SUBPARTITION TEMPLATE statement to specify a new subpartition template. For example:
    ALTER TABLE emp_sub_template
    SET SUBPARTITION TEMPLATE
    (SUBPARTITION e TABLESPACE ts1,
    SUBPARTITION f TABLESPACE ts2,
    SUBPARTITION g TABLESPACE ts3,
    SUBPARTITION h TABLESPACE ts4

  • How to add varnish to an image

    HOw do i add varnish to an image i want to print?

    Draw the shape of the area you want to varnish.
    Colour it with a spot colour. Any faint colour will do. Name the spot colour ‘Varnish’ or something else appropriate.
    Put the shape onto a top layer and set the colour to Overprint (in Attributes).
    View the file with Overprint Preview turned on. The varnished area will probably look slightly tinged with the colour you chose, but don’t worry about that.
    Check Separation Preview to make sure that your varnish is definitely in its own separation.
    Remember that you should be thinking in inks rather than just judging what you see on your monitor.
    Talk to your printer to make sure that he prints your Varnish separation with actual varnish and not with some silly colour.

  • How to fade in/out multiple images before image faded

    Hi all,
    I plan to do multiple images fade in/out using UIImageView just like Flicker iphone app.
    Here are the steps:
    1. Load pic1.
    2. pic1 move from left to right.
    3. pic1 will slowly turn to become transparent while still moving.
    4. Same time pic2 is moving from right to left.
    I am managed to have the pic1 slowly fading out after it stop moving and pic2 move in at the same time. However what i want is to have the pic1 slowly fading out while it is still moving.
    Can anybody help me to look at my code below: Thanks.
    - (void)viewDidLoad {
    [super viewDidLoad];
    CGPoint newLeftCenter = CGPointMake(180, 240);
    [UIView beginAnimations:@"move1" context:NULL];
    [UIView setAnimationDuration:6.0f];
    [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromRight];
    [UIView setAnimationBeginsFromCurrentState:YES];
    [UIView setAnimationDelegate:self];
    [UIView setAnimationDidStopSelector:@selector(movingStop:finished:context:)];
    pic1.center = newLeftCenter;
    [UIView commitAnimations];
    - (void)movingStop:(NSString*)animationID finished:(BOOL)finished context:(void *)context {
    if ( [animationID isEqualToString:@"move1"] ) {
    CGPoint newLeftCenter = CGPointMake(200, 260);
    [UIView setAnimationBeginsFromCurrentState:YES];
    [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromLeft];
    [UIView setAnimationDuration:3.0];
    pic2.alpha = 1.0;
    pic2.center = newLeftCenter;
    [UIView setAnimationDelegate:self];
    [UIView setAnimationDidStopSelector:selector(movingStop:finished:context:)];
    [UIView commitAnimations];
    }

    I'd need to write a test bed to get this right for you, but as a first approximation, I think you'll want to do something like this:
    - (void)viewDidLoad {
    [super viewDidLoad];
    // assume pic1 is now visible at its left starting position at full alpha
    // and pic2 is at it's starting position to the right, either on or off screen
    [UIView beginAnimations:@"move1" context:NULL];
    [UIView setAnimationDuration:6.0f];
    // --> this isn't an animation curve; just use the default for now:
    // [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromRight];
    // --> leave this out for now:
    // [UIView setAnimationBeginsFromCurrentState:YES];
    // --> doesn't look like you need a stop method so leave these out for now:
    // [UIView setAnimationDelegate:self];
    // [UIView setAnimationDidStopSelector:@selector(movingStop:finished:context:)];
    pic1.center = CGPointMake(180, 240);
    pic1.alpha = 0.0;
    pic2.center = CGPointMake(200, 260);
    // I don't think you said whether pic2 is fading in, but if so, add this line as well:
    pic2.alpha = 1.0;
    [UIView commitAnimations];
    Again, the above is only an outline, not working code. If you need more help I might have time to make it work this evening, ok?

  • How to add a photo filter image adjustment layer?

    In this tutorial at the last step it says to add a photo filter image adjustment layer on the image to give it a warm finish, I can't see any adjustment palette as shown in image.  I use a CS3 Extended.

    Wow, again I stand corrected.
    I have a perceptual "blind spot" when it comes to finding textual entries in lists.  It's a "hidden in plain sight" kind of quirk that I normally work around either by being diligent or finding another way (e.g., pressing the button I highlighted above).  I'm sure magicians and people who design camouflage would understand it.
    I actually looked in both Photoshop CS5 and CS3 and didn't perceive that entry before I wrote my post above.  I probably looked right at it but didn't sense it was there.  I was even thinking of writing up a bug report.  Now, of course, since you've pointed it out, I go back and look again in my copies of Photoshop and I do see it.  It's a bit of a scary realization, as I have to wonder what else in life I've missed because of this.  I'm reminded mildly of the scene in the old film "The Andromeda Strain" where the lab worker sees a flashing red "NO GROWTH" indicator but doesn't take action on it because of an epileptic block.
    Thanks again for setting me straight MTSTUNER.  I continue to learn a lot from you.

  • How can I re-size multiple images in PSE11 ?

    I have used PSE10 to re-size multiple images by selecting the 'Process Multiple Images' option from the drop-down menu undeneath 'File'.
    I have just migrated to PSE11 and this option is not available - it is greyed out and cannot be selected.
    Anyone got any suggestions ? Thanks.

    In PSE 11 you must be in Expert mode (the equivalent of Full Edit in previous versions). Click the word Expert at the top of your screen and it should be available.
