How to add new value in operator in search parameter in web ui

Hi,
I have a requirement to add values (equal ,not equal ) in operator drop-down field of
search parameter in search of web ui page.
Can someone guide me to proceed on this.

Hi,
here an example how to add operator "contains pattern" to attribute prospect name in the opportunity search.
Hopefully it will work similar for your issue:
1) Launch transaction 'sm34'
2) Enter view cluster name as 'CRMVC_DQ' and click on 'Maintain'
3) Find DQuery Object Name for example 'BTQOpp' under Comp Name 'BT' and click on'exceptions per attribute.'
4) Find the Attribute Name for example 'PROSPECT_NAME'
5) Check the box 'CP' to enable to 'contains' operator.

make append to tables in se11 - CCMBP1FIELDS, CCMBP2FIELDS
in spro in Define customer-specific search control -> mark fields with X.
and enhance html template CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY. -> tcode smw0, look for package CRM_CIC_COMPONENTS for html CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY. export it from SAP, edit, and import.
you will need to enhance function module used for searching - you will find him in spro in Search Strategies.

in the presentation services when queried my request.. i am getting query below like that.this time i am getting wrong values. if i include c8 in partition by for c13 then i able to get the correct values.
Can you plz tell me how to include new value to the partion by ..from RPD.

I guess you made a mistake in your business model. The c8 column should be coming from a separate dimension.

How to add new knowledge database to knowledge search

Hi all
i am trying to add some knowledge databases to the independent knowledge serach
in CRMM_SEARCH,when i add these databases
1. SDB_PROBLEMS
2. SDB_SOLUTIONS
the databases get added there but when i select them for searching the documents under them system is giving dump saying attributes value are missing,
Please tell how to add these data bases to the knowledge serach so that i can serach these under CRMM_SEARCH
i am working in CRM version 5.0
and the application i am talking about is IC stanalone Win Client Knowledge serach

Use transaction CL02 , open class in PCL_222_PURO_BOX with class type 300
add characterstic
PCH_COSTING_WGT_DETERM
PCH_COSTING_WGT_A_DETERM
save it.
Now use MM02 and go to classification view , now you would be able to see these characterstic there.
Check and come back.

How to add new a font with Forms 6i running on Web URGENT !!!

In Forms 6i , I have added a new Font and installed it successfully .In client Server
mode the Form is Successfully Showing me
the newly added font. But when I run this Form on Web It does not shows me the font correctly. The font is a True Type Font for
Windows . I am running my forms using OAS 4.0.8.1 on Win NT. Do I need to make some configurations on the Server ????

1/ Actually most of the customers will use our app through normal 56k modems. Their first connection must avoid to download Jinitiator which is 8Mo, so we don't want people to use Jinitiator (opening the session is even longer with Jinitiator than IE5).
2/ Moreover, the applet window has a grey title line with the word "window" and the name form : this is not internet at all ;-)
3/ A normal connection through a firewall doesn't work with the famous port 9000.

now this 'test' value is increase as new value is added.

I think i understood the question though not exactly sure.
As the value of test increases, he may want to add additional nodes with -> based on the value of test.
For Ex,
If the value of test is 2,
concatenate ZCHILDDESC '->' CHILDDESC '->' test1 -> test2 into desc.
similarly if its 3,
concatenate ZCHILDDESC '->' CHILDDESC '->' test1 '->' test2 '->' test3 into desc.

LTAK->SPEZI ? Currently it is displaying values A & B in the drop down and want to add a new value to the indicator.

I dont think you will be able to add more values to this field from configuration.
If you check the data element and domain associated with this field (LTAK_SPEZI) in SE11. You can see that the value range for the domain has been defined there as A and B only.
So if you want to add a new value you can ask and ABAP/technical consulatnt to add new values to this Domain.
However i am not sure it will be useful (unless you have a specific requirement and want to modify the standard programs) as the field is checked in different program (eg in inculde LL03AF4V , LL03AF7F ) against these fixed values A and B.

If that field which you wants to add is available in one of the structures like EKKO,EKPO then you can add that field just beside the other fields
If that field is not there in the any of the structures then you can define a variable using define command
/: DEFINE &VAR&
/ &VAR& = <some value>
or you can write subroutines to fetch the data from outside tables and can use those fields data in the script

for example:
when we go to TCODE SE16-> VBAK table -> on the selection screen if we press F4 against VBTYP we get all the available values for that field. How to add a new document Category value to this field so that it shows up in F4 help for that field.

I don't think it is possible and feasible for adding new field value to the field VBTYP because it is not possible through SPRO.
If u see the domain of this field VBTYP we have fixed values provided by SAP. There is no value table for this. If u have value table then it will be updated through SPRO. But still if u really want to add some value u can do that by getting access key and add the value in the fixed values of the domain. But of no use other than simply displaying in F4. Because for what ever value u created here there will be no documents in VBAK or any table using this domain.

You can try this alternative
Step 1) Create XML Document with required structure which you want to pass it to BAPI request.
Step 2) Populate the XML Row with required contents and map it to above created XML document
Step 3) Map above created XML Document to BAPI request (use assign XML option dfrom link editor rather tha assign value)
This will help to map dynamic contents to your BAPI request.
