How to add passwords to security device?

I use the firefox security device to store my passwords. It used to ask me when I entered a new password on a new site, now it does not anymore. I cannot change the passwords already stored and I cannot add new ones.

If you see passwords in the Password Manager (Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords") then you can use the Password Exporter extension to create a backup of the passwords.

Check that the exported (xml) file has all the names and passwords.

However you should not be referring to Luns via their logical device i.e. c0t0d0, but using the unique did device or the /global device. refer to scdidam -L which will list all the did devices across all nodes and map them to the logical device path.

For your issue, you can encrypt the files using Encrypting File System. By this method, only the user that stores it can access the encrypted passwords.

This kind of operation can't be done in Acrobat. You'll need some stand-alone tool, or maybe a plugin, to do it.

I find it absolutely unbelievable that you were able to configure the clients to USE WSUS ... but not be able to configure them to install updates automatically. Especially given that automatic installation is the DEFAULT BEHAVIOR of a Windows computer.

hii i have been trying to set password on my 5230 following proper steps
menu > settings>phone >phone mgmt.>security> phone and sim card> lock code
entered default code 12345 and entered a new code got the message code accepted but when i lock the phone and unlock it it doesnt ask me the code plz help whats the issue

It may be worth you trying a soft reset to make sure it isn't something within your settings.
Soft Reset - this will not delete and data off your device.
Enter *#7780# into your phone's keypad and when prompted, enter 12345 (default code)
If there are not too much data on your device and you have made a backup, you can go for the hard reset option below.
Hard Reset - this will wipe all data off your device, so a backup is recommeded before doing this.
Enter *#7370# into your phone's keypad and when prompted, enter 12345 (default code)

Menu-->Settings-->Phone-->Phone Management-->Security-->Phone and SIM Card-->and set the LOCK CODE...
Default lock code is 12345.
Note that if you forget the Code then you will have to get it reset to the default code ONLY at Nokia Care..and there will be charges incurred for the service. You also tend to lose all your data during this Reset..so keep regular back-ups..

Can you/how to: add additional DAQmx alias devices using MAX

Is it possible using MAX (measurement and automation explorer) to add alias devices under the Devices->DAQmx? That is, device names that map to the same hardware?

Hi Todd,
It will probably be located in a location similar to the one for I/O devices.
For instance, if you look under (assuming Windows) "C:\VXIPNP\WinNT\NIvisa", you should find a file called "visaconf.ini".
You can set the aliases within this file. Hoewver, for DAQ devices, it will probably be located in another similar type file. Unfortunately I do not have DAQ's installed on this PC. The visaconf.ini file does support GPIB cards. As I said, I don't know if the same file supports DAQ. However, check it out.
An example of how the aliases are to be configured is described in the ini file. Here is an example of mine: It renames ASRL ports to COM ports.

When installing BankID security application, the old version was supposed to be uninstalled and PKCS"11 module to be unloaded.
I have found the module but can neither diactivate or unload it
from the preference tab in Firefox 3.6.15.

I want to add my Mac Mini machine to a windows domain. Is it possible to add it? I have tried but it is not working. It asks for Client ID While joining to a windows domain. I have given MAC address, IP address and hostname of Windows server but it is not working. Please do help me out to sort out the issue.

Why should we create a user again? The point is I am going to join this Mac Mini to a windows domain controller. Windows domain controller means a centralized database of an organization. It is communicating with my Domain controller. But the issue is it is not founding my domain node while joining to a domain. Please find the attached screen shots for your reference. You would have to get into the VBA programming in order to do
this. Why don't you just have a login function for the page with
these CFCs? That would restrict access to the Excel file.
