Is it possible to add rear cover arrtwork to a imported cd?

I do it all the time. I use an older iTunes and I believe they have changed this part of the interface but I simply drag the next item of artwork into the artwork browser window in the bottom left corner of my iTunes (iTunes 7.5). I suspect it is still possible wherever you edit artwork in the newer version.

I guess it depends on your definition of 'easy'. Itunes will try to add the cover art if you select Edit / Preferences / General tab / Automatically download missing album artwork.
But it didn't find a lot of the covers for my mostly classic rock and jazz collection so I would select all the songs on an album, downloaded the cover art from http://rateyourmusic.com/ by searching for the artist or release and (in windows) right clicking on the album cover, choose Copy, and then right-click in the 'Selected Item' pane in the lower left of iTunes, and Paste.
I adopted the rule that I wouldn't add anything to my iPod that didn't have artwork, and I followed the process above and everything (e.g. coverflow) works fine.

OK, you are referring to the thumbnails when displaying your library in "Albums" view. TBOMK, they cannot be adjusted. (Or at least in iTunes 11.2.2 on Windows, there does not seem to be a way, which does seem a bit strange.)

I'm trying to figure out how to add my music to my iTunes Library..?

I have an iPod Classic, almost full of music... I'm trying to figure out how to add my music to my iTunes Library (so I can then sync with my iPhone). When I try to sync, it gives me an alert: Are you sure you want to sync? All existing content will be removed and replaced with songs from your iTunes Library. How can I add my songs? I don't mind backing my files up and restoring my iPod, but I can't even find how to do that. Please help?! Thanks.

Are you using Mac or Windows?
With Mac you can click file on the top left, on the dropdown box 'Add to Library...'
With Windows you could have the folder with the music in open, and simply drag it into iTunes.
Or simply stick the CD into the computer and let it do it's work
If you want to backup, it should already do it for you, then once your iPod has been restored it lets you choose from the backups that iTunes has created. That's just me though it may not be the case for you.

How to add a Cover Page to an existing document

I have a Pages document created with a Word Processing template and with Facing Pages, page 1 beginning with the right page. All of the following Section breaks will begin with the right page as in a book. The space shown to the left of page 1 currently is a blank, grey area. I would like to use this space as a cover page.
If I insert either a page break or section break at the top of page 1, it pushes page 1 down and to the left. That is not what I want. I would simply like to add the "cover" page to the left of page 1 (and continue to begin later sections/chapters at the right.
Is that possible, and if so, how do I do it?

Hello again Peter, thanks for the advice.
What I actually did was insert the cursor at the beginning of page 1, and in the Menu, I did an Insert > Choose... and selected a one-page cover document. With a bit of trial and error, I was able to get the artwork to completely cover the page. However, the cover is now labeled as page 1 and I would prefer it and the following blank page to not be page numbered. I consider this as a temporary work-around so I could export to a pdf file.
Now, what I would like to do further is add a new chapter to the end of the file. In the Insert > Sections menu, I have previously created a “Chapter” Section but after adding it to the end of my document and changing the Header to read Chapter 2, it also changed all of the previous headers on the right facing pages. Not good :-(

How do I turn off artwork in iTunes Mini player 11.0.4?

I have been very vocal in mourning the loss of Cover Flow but now I've given iTunes 11 a second chance on my MacBook Pro.
The most irritating thing is the Mini Player is no longer 'mini'. How can I turn off artwork display when in mini mode? The whole point of this is to enable iTunes control whilst working, but having a big square displaying album artwork is just counter-productive.
I just want the option of a minimalist player when working.

I'm wondering if you're trying to import music files with digital rights management (DRM)? Also, sometimes iTunes doesn't like mixed types being dragged together, e.g. AAC and MP3 or MP3 and WAV or AAC. You should be able to drag and drop a whole folder. Don't know if that's much help. Maybe you could provide more details on file type, where you're copying from.

There are various methods of adding artwork to your songs and albums.
If you have an iTunes store account, you can use the "get album artwork" option in iTunes. You don't actually need to purchase anything from the iTunes store, just to have or create an account. Provided that the album or song for which you are looking to add artwork is available for sale in the store, iTunes will find it and add it to your library.
If you go to preferences/general in iTunes and check the box marked "automatically download missing album artwork", it will automatically add the artwork when you import a CD into iTunes.
You must have the album or song tagged in your iTunes library correctly or it may not be found. For instance, even a missing "The" before the artists name can throw up anomalies. iTunes will check each song in your iTunes library and attempt to match it up with a song in the iTunes Store. If the data matches, iTunes will download the album artwork from the iTunes Store and add it to the song in your iTunes library.
If you don't have an account or don't want to create one, here are a couple of other methods.
Highlight a song or album in iTunes, then right click on it and select the "get album artwork" option.  Go to Google Image Search and type in the artist/album name and click on search images.   Double click on a picture you like, then at the top of that page click on "see full size image".   When you get that image, simply copy/paste it into the space for album artwork in iTunes.   Make sure you select the album in the browser of iTunes before you copy/paste.  
In the unlikely event that Google can’t find an image, you can also get artwork from Amazon.
If you’re happy using images from Amazon, and don’t want to copy/paste, then iTunes Art Importer is a free program to do it for you.
And for Macs, there's Album Art Widget.
You can set this to find art from Amazon, Google and elsewhere, automatically add artwork to songs, rate songs, and a bunch of other stuff.

If you downloaded the artwork from the Internet. It'll be in your downloads folder. Open the folder, and "drag" the image from the folder to the Artwork box in the Info pane as shown:
When you see the "+" you know it's ready to drop, and it will add the artwork to ALL selected tracks as soon as you click "OK".

I have album artwork in iTunes on my desktop Mac. I want to have that artwork with my albums and songs on my iPod Touch? I don't see an obvious way to move or synch the artwork, except possibly replacing all music on my iPod with what is in iTunes. The album cover artwork is nice enough on the Mac but it is unweildy on the I Phone (I Phone 5 S). It spaces out the real information needed which is simply folder, playlist information. In fact, I can't shuffle music among all playlists contained in a single folder, a related problem. Thanks for responding. Even when a tune is playing and the lower left photo is toggled to "now playing," the photo on the left is different than the album cover up on top. This notebook is a pandora's box. The rear cover, which is the entire backside of the notebook, has 12 screws. Removing those twelve screws seem to offer no opportunity to easy the back panel off. It's on there extremely tight. (Congrats to the Toshiba engineers for quality engineering). Toshiba currently doesn't have a manual of disassemble nor will they probably ever offer one. I really would like to keep this notebook. I know it's like a rude attempt at coping an Apple Macbook Pro but nonetheless its a marvel of engineering and beauty. Anyone know the sequence of procedures to open this bad boy up. My SSD can't wait any longer.

Thats a total Crock, I have a P-70 Sattleite and it says for all other models, I hope it means for the E 55 because for the P70, there were just 2 screws I had mine off and the new SSD in about 5 minutes, I'm a sys admin, so it wasn't that hard. They ususally have the instructions in the PDF for your model. Which is good, because old Toshiba ones they used to not. One thing which I have found I don't like sent mine back to Toshiba and even told them I would pay for the upgrade. I cannot stand the Intel Wi-fi, one I don't care about Widi, I bought my laptop for gaming, not widi. I had to go as so far as to drill a whole and run a cat 5e cable to my router to have a direct connection. I would have paid easily for the upgraded wi-fi card different from intel of course, the only good things they make are CPUs and mother boards, Please stay away from Wi-fi. They have a spat going on between Microsoft and Intel, on a re-oredering issue that causes the PC to drop wifi connections for no reason. If I knew that. I would have gotten a diffeent maker, definalty different card. Intel says its fixed waitinng on a fix from Microsoft guess that will come out in windows 9. Sad thing, I had a Toshiba with I7 with 8 gigs and a SSD, and a great video card, my P70 is a I7 with 16 gigs of ram and 2 gigs of seperate ram for the video card and a SSD, which should stomp my old laptop. Speed wise it does, but at least my old one worked and had no problems. This one, SMH everyday.
