How to add Tabs and List Boxes in Webi Report in Reporting Area(Not Report Filters & Input Controls)

Hi All,
I have a requirement to use some components called List Box and Tabs in my WebI report for presenting the information by dynamic dimension and measure selection using list box and segregate information by using Tabs as in below image.
Image was prepared in MSPaint not executable webi report.
Is it possible to integrate the list box and tabs into Report Zone in BO Webi? as show in below image?

Hello Muralidhar Reddy,
The exact tool for your requirement is SAP BO Dashboard or SAP BO Design studio. WebI is a tool for ad-hoc reporting tool and we have limited functionalities to make dashboards using webI. You can have all those chart options in WebI and you can use Input controls or drill filters for restricting data. But you cannot have these selection components in reporting area. Tabs as shown in above post, you can have in bottom of the report.

3. Add attribute SUBSCREEN1 with level Constant, visibility Public, type MEPO_NAME, initial value 'HDRSCREEN1'.

I found the solution.
If you are facing same problem , follow the bellow steps.
1. Declare in report.
TYPE-POOLS: VRM.
DATA: NAME TYPE VRM_ID,
LIST TYPE VRM_VALUES,
VALUE LIKE LINE OF LIST.
2. IN PBO Event.
clear: list.
NAME = 'TXT_PERIOD'. " your screen field name
VALUE-KEY = '1'.
VALUE-TEXT = 'LINE 1'.
APPEND VALUE TO LIST.
VALUE-KEY = '2'.
VALUE-TEXT = 'LINE 2'.
APPEND VALUE TO LIST.
VALUE-KEY = '3'.
VALUE-TEXT = 'LINE 3'.
APPEND VALUE TO LIST.
CALL FUNCTION 'VRM_SET_VALUES'
EXPORTING ID = NAME VALUES = LIST.

How can I place a "List box" on a report?

Similar to input controls, however, I want to be able to show a webi report as a dashboard within infoview (dashboard tab), but I need a "list/combo" box for user interaction.
Is there a way to do this?

Hi Michael,
Left panel input controls cannot yet be inserted into WebI report, but WebI allow to use report elements as input controls.
You can therefore insert a table in your report, and use it as a selection list : you just need to insert and design a vertical or horizontal table from a single dimension, and use it as an input control : select the table and start report element input control wizard from the contextual menu command called Define as input control....
BTW, You can also use this feature on charts.

you need to use this :

you can change the tables and the parameter number but you have to write it exactly that way.
when you run the query within the SBO you will get list of objects ( in this case list of invoices)

How to achieve Tab level security in a WEBI report?

I have 2 tabs in a single Webi XI R3 report. This report should be viewed by 2 users with the following conditions.
1st Tab should be seen by only User #1. (Tab 2 should be disabled)
2nd Tab should be seen by only User #2. (Tab 1 should be disabled)
How can we achieve this?

It is not possible to provide security on a report tab, only the document itself. Making it a requirement doesn't change the features of the product.
If the two tabs are showing data in different formats, then using two different reports is the way to go. If the report tabs are showing the same format but different data (content) then you can apply filters or security rules in the universe itself to restrict data to what User 1 and User 2 are allowed to see.

if you want to display a fixed values in the dropdown you can use list box ui and can specify values there
or if u want to display values from the context node of the webdynpro
1. Drag and drop a Value Help Drop-down List element from the Web Dynpro Library tab to the Body Pages pane.
2. Drag and drop your node from the Data View tab onto it. This action binds the layout element to the corresponding node.

How to add branches and leaves in a selection?

In trying to change the sky background in a landscape shot full of trees with branches the 'Quick selection' tool doesn't work because it will easily include branches (especially small ones in the background). The "Color selection tool'' is also ineffective'' since the color of the sky spills over the branches (again especially in the small background branches).
So how does one do such a thing?
I consider this to be the same case as, lets say, choosing every strand of hair with a person with long curly hair. (Even worse if it's a blonde at a sunset or say a brunette with their hair on the brown soil)

That's not going to be an easy selection, but doable with Refine Edge. But if you just want to change the sky colour, you could do that without making a selection. Use a Hue/Sat adjustment layer, click on the little hand icon which will select a colour range, and drag the hue slider. If you are not getting it all, expand the sliders on the colour bars at the bottom of the H/S layer.
If it spills onto parts of the image you don't want it to, mask them out. That's likely to be an easier selection than those twigs.
However, you have a perfect situation for making an alpha channel mask here. Make a copy of the Blue Channel. Roughly select the snow and buildings with the lasso tool and fill with black. Use Levels (not an adjustment layer) to harden up the blacks and white. Then finish off with a paint brush set to Overlay (in the options bar) Use a lowish opacity brush (20%) and paint black over dark areas, and white over white.
Incidentally, if you ever do use Quick Select and Refine Edge on a fiddly image like this, always check the Decontaminate colour box. Not just for the obvious reason, but because it forces new layer with mask. You can then further fine tune use the Mask Properties panel.

The cost of product should include only the factory related direct cost and overhead cost .. not the sales and admin ovehead. exp. for those treat them as period expense and pass on the same to COPa and there those can be analysed there..
