How to add title to a fi

Hi All,?I am new to this mp3 players. I just got a 60gb Creative version and was able to charge it. I also transferred mp3 files using media source. But once the process got over, I found that it didnt copy some of the files as it didnt have title information. I have around 7000 mp3 files and most of it doesnt have title information and as a result didnt copy those. Can you please give me a work around to quickly add title to a file (like having same information as that of file name)?If i have to add manually, it will take lots of time as i have lots of mp3 files.

The Creative Media Toolbox application has an auto tagger, that uses the Gracenote service.
It analyzes the MP3 files and then looks up the album, title, track information online and retags the files with the correct information. Run "Creative Media Toolbox" and select "Auto Tag Cleaner" and follow the prompts and it should be able to apply tags/titles/album info to your songs.
It might take it quite a while to do so, but will be quite a bit less painless then doing it by hand. That is if your music is standard stuff that is in the gracenotes database.

I am creating a web gallery within Bridge and I want to add a title and caption to each image in my web gallery. How do I do that? The only thing I see is the Site Info. section and that adds a title and caption to the entire web gallery (including each image) and I want different titles and captions for each image. Thanks Curt Y for your help. The thing is I have to use only Bridge. I looked up this problem on http://www.experts-exchange.com/ and they said it was not possible to add titles and captions for individual images (slides) in a web gallery in Bridge. They seemed to imply that this was overlooked. So I input what I could based on what was provided by Bridge and turned it in. Thanks to all who viewed and replied to this post. I appreciate it.

Unfortunately that's not possible in the current version of photos.

How to add title/header in 3.0.1, as in previous version?

I "upgraded" to 3.0.1-- The titles/headers of my spreadsheets would not appear in the new versions, and I see no way to add them.
When I print them out, it sure is nice to know what it is (title), and how recent a version (date) it is.

Apple dropped this feature in Version 3.0. Yhey are working to add this and other features back. See this link for a list of items they are addressing:

You can continue to use the previous version which is located in the folder "/Applications/iWork '09" and can export back to the previous version from 3.0 using the menu item "File > Export To > Numbers '09"

If we do a view source for the inputText field, you will see a title attribute getting generated when you have some value in your field. If the user want any other title except the value there is not other way except using shortDesc but there is an issue with using the "shortDesc" attribute as it shows the note window. Right now there is no way to add the title with out using shortDesc attribute and we cannot use shortDesc because of the notewindow.
This is something Oracle should fix in future versions ( The ability to add custom or existing html attributes to a tag )

How to add titles to GarageBand File

I am looking for a way to show a large attractive opening title on the first screen of a podcast-- I'd love to have something eye-catching, like the Titles on iMovie. (I am doing this with 90 middle-school students-- each one has his/her own podcast project.)
I had thought that we could create a short 5-second Title-sequence in iMovie and just insert it at the beginning of the Podcast, but when I tried to bring it into the project, GarageBand infomed me that I cannot mix video with the podcast track-- that I must choose one or the other. Unfortunately, we have already laid out the rest of the pictures for the podcasts, so we don't want to start all over again in iMovie. I am looking for another solution.
Is there any way to have the Chapter titles show up ON the screen?
The only other solution I thought of is to put together a title slide in Word with large text laid over a picture.... but I was hoping there was a more elegant solution built-into GarageBand.

Well, you can save some of the individual frames you made in imovie and make those your title slides.

No sound when I add titles

In my movie, I have several clips with titles. After the title has been added, the sound from the clip disappears. When the clip with the title is over, the sound reappears. Any suggestions on how to add titles without losing the sound?

Repairing permissions and deleting preferences is definitely the place to start. Close down iMovie first, and then restart your computer after repairing permissions and deleting preferences.
Also, when dealing with titles you are dealing with fonts, and fonts can cause problems. Check your Font Book folder (MacHD>Font Book) and see if you have any duplicate fonts. Duplicate fonts will be shown by a black dot next to the name. If you click on the little triangle to the left of the font name you will reveal the duplicates. Remove any duplicate fonts. You do this by selecting the font with the dot next to it, and then going to Edit>Resolve Duplicates.That will turn off the duplicate font.
Next, try closing iMovie and deleting the FontCollections folder found in User (the house icon)>Library>FontCollections. iMovie will replace that file on relaunch. Or, alternatively, you can drag the FontCollections folder to your desktop and then relaunch.
The above may not work in your case, but I have found sometimes that it will cure title problems. Also, I am running OS 10.3.9, which is considerably older than your operating system version. So perhaps the set up might be different on your computer.

The photos.app does not (yet) have the option to add captions or tags. It is not possible right now. You can however search for the captions you added previously using the search field. You can also search for album names. So, as a work-around, put photos that should have the same caption into an album with a name like the caption.

How to add a Title (slide? screen?) BEFORE the video track

Hello,
I'm very new to Adobe Premiere Pro and I'm trying to figure out how to add a title to my project but I don't want the title on the start of the video in the sequence. I'd like to add it to a black screen, maybe with some transition effects, that will play prior to the video starting. Do I need to create a black image in CS and add it as a still and just add the title to the still which I can position before the video/audio track A starts?
I'm hoping that there's something I can do right within Premiere that will give me a place to put the title before my video starts. I didn't see an option to add a blank slide or something to that effect that I can add title to.

Thanks for the link.. like I said in my post, I'm brand new to the software and I've been watching and following guides for hours. Time is not on my side, I have a project that must be done by the end of this week and I have very limited time after work.
So when I have the head at the begining of my main track and click INSERT in the source monitor window it inserts a duplicate of the entire video so I have TWO videos in my sequence. This is clearly not what I'm wanting so I'm assuming that there's something I'm missing. I've searched google but don't see anything.
I'm just looking to add a black, blank screen that I can add a title to before my video begins. I realize this may be rudamentary to season vets but as I said, I'm very new and trying to learn this all quickly and I would really appreciate if someone could point me directly to some information about it. I'm not afraid to read and learn, hell I love it, but I'm pressed for time so someone just telling me, "go learn the software" with a link to a huge FAQ, doesn't really help me.
I've already learned a ton from some great guides but I have yet to have anyone indicate how to add extra footage (be it a still or blank video) directly from Premiere Pro.

EDIT: I think I figured it out... I just bumped the start of the main track up about 10 seconds and I added new item "Black Screen" right in front of it. I will add the title to this. Thanks all.

Do you have the Report Generation Toolkit? If so, the Excel Easy Graph VI has an input for that.
If you don't have the toolkit then you will need to use ActiveX. Please do a search on how to use ActiveX (there are examples that ship with LabVIEW) to control Excel. There are also lots of example in the Excel thread. NOTE: DO NOT POST QUESTIONS IN THAT THREAD.
Ultimately you will need to look up the information in MSDN.
