How to add total of actual in My work- Task in project server 2010.

Hello all, 
I need to add total of actual in My work->Task in project server 2010.
How can I achieve it?

Hi Rohit,
Unfortunately, there is no configuration which allows having the actual total work in "my tasks" page. Note that you have the total for the period for each assignment in the column next to the "work" column. In case it doesn't suit
your need, I'd suggest to propose for example a simple report, otherwise a development could be quite complex and time consuming.

    PS2010 shows by default the workspaces you have permissions to. Unfortunately, there is no more filtering options available.
    The only solutions are to write a custom webpart, or develop your own SSRS Report, which you can customize the way you want.

    As far as I tested it, it is not possible either with PS2010. The URL only contains the PDP name and the projUID.

    try to use the command 'summing' along with one text symbol .Keep the if condtion when page changes at that time u dispay the total as ur keeping the total in text symbol it can be dispayed in the next page

    here u declare a variable 'c' and increment it by 1 in each loop. Then u chgeck if the program has started printing second page then u can print the number of records before printing the next page.
    eg :
    data : c type c value '0'.
    loop at <table>.
    c = c + 1.
    call write_form.
    endloop.
    in form:
    check when the next page is being printed, then u can print the number
    of lines 'c'.

    Hi James,
    According to BI 7.0 Version
    Steps of creating workbook and to insert more than one query in a workbook.
    When you run a query and it opens in Bex Analyzer you can click the save button and pick "Save as Workbook".
    Once you save it as a workbook Click on the "Design Mode" button in the Bex toolbar (looks like an A).
    Click in the sheet where you want the new query to go, click the "Analysis Grid" button. It will add the analysis grid to your new sheet.
    Right click on the Analysis grid and go to properties.
    Click on button to change data provider and select the query you want to attach.
    Exit design mode and you should be all set.

    Hello. Store the logo somewhere accessible, either in a library at the PWA site collection or on the project site, make a note of the URL to the site then navigate to the project site and depending on what logo you want to update you can click Site Actions
    > Site Settings > title and description then update the image URL there. Alternatively, on the homepage of the project site add an image web part then reference the new logo using the URL. Paul

    I have 100 users that I need to add to a Project Server 2010 site. Add these through server settings would take a week to do. Is there a way to add users in bulk like with a script or something that can pull from an CSV

    I am not sure if I got your question?
    If you want to add these users to a site of a specific project, just add them as team members to this project. This will provide read access to them. If you assign them to a task within this project, they will alos get write access in this site.
    If you want to add this users as Project Server resources and users and just have a list of them, you can use copy/paste. Go to Resource Center and click on Open. Project client will start with checked out Enterprise Resources. Add columns Windows User Account,
    Email Address, and all other fields you want to fill. Make sure that the columns and the sequence of columns does match the columns in your file. Use copy/paste to insert all users into Project. Save and Close. Use Option Bulk Edit, if you want to define
    eg Timesheet Manager. As a last step go to Server Settings - Manage Groups and add them to the appropriate groups.

    There is no special configuration for Project Server to have the IIS enabled, it follows the typical sharepoint SSL enablement, we might need some mor edetails on how your NLB is done is it hardware based, software based ? it all depends how you want
    to architecht the system, you can enable the Https either on NLB or WFE, again depending upon how you want to enable it, you will need to install the certificates on both WFE or on NLB

    Hi Prashant,
    It is a bit unclear how you have a project in Sharepoint AND a project in Project Server 2010.
    The basic process is :
    you have EPT, associated with a Sharepoint template
    You create from Project Server 2010 (project center) a project choosing an EPT
    a project plan (mpp) will be created, editable from PWA or MS Project Pro2010
    a Sharepoint site associated with the project plan will be created, based on the EPT WSS template
    In server settings, you can sync permissions between the project plan and the sharepoint site, and also check for the url and eventually update them.

    The portfolio feature is part of the out of the boxProject Server 2010 solution. Maybe you just have to unhide the links in the quick launch menu. It will not disturb any of your current configuration.
