How to adjust html template manually

I have got some templates to be adjusted manually in spau adjustments during an upgrade. What will be the steps involved in the same if any one has an idea on the same.

Which SRM version are you using ? What is your business requirement ?
Incase you have made the changes manually, you need to ensure that in SE80 for the Internet Service (- say BBPSC01 ), all the manually modified HTML Templates ( by referring to any SAP OSS Note, or due to some customer requirements etc) are having correct source code as well the HTML are published on all the respective SRM ITS Internet Sites.
Do let me know, incase you face any issues.

How to use html template on a php script, if possible..

I buy it smartjobboard script which is made in php (

. This is advanced job board script with user registrations/payment getway/ search ,etc. This script have default templates which are very old and ugly. So, I deciced it to build my own template. The only problem is that I didn't knew that my script is made php, so I lost 2 weeks working on a html job template with maps and everything need it for a nice site hoping that I will only have to paste some codes on my html code.. Now I'am stuck with my template and shocked with php, although I have acces to edit php template I found it impossible to make it to the level I create it my htlml template (not that I have tried..) . I have around 30 js files and 5 css on my template.
I tried to download my own php site on pc hoping I will have html format /it works only as a template but it does not connect to database for login/register/search ,etc...
There is any hope for my to actually use my html template ?

Changing HTML templates for Standard SRM screens!!!!!

Hello SRM gurus,
I have to modify the standard SRM PO screen. I have modified the screen and added the requirement tracking number field but on activation it gives me message to adapt the HTML template manually.
How to change HTML template assigned to the screen? Also what more needs to be done for the field to appear on the SRM portal?
I am not aware even of the transaction code to be used.
Your help will highly be appreciated and rewarded.

You need not chnage the Standard SRM screen nor the HTML template to add a custom field in the PO sceen.
Please check these notes:

There is an additional note for req tracking no not available in SC but in your case you want the field in PO so wont be relevant.

The tcode for PO is BBP_POC.If you ever need to modify the HTML template for this screen/trascn,goto SE80.select Internet service as BBP_POC.There you can see all the HTNL templates and each of which corresponds to some screen in the trascn BBP_POC(PO trascn).

Collab Subscription Emails: How to detect HTML enabled cell phone?

We have found tremendous adoption success with using the "Subscribe Others" feature in collab. Naturally this concept rubs many folks the wrong way because often the end users don't know why they are getting these emails or what they are expected to do with them.
To combat this problem I have been working on our email templates to include some brief FAQs at the bottom of the email that answer some of the basics: Why am I getting this email? How do I unsubscribe? etc
There is still one issue that I am trying to resolve: Within the HTML template, is it possible to identify HTML enabled email readers?
For example, I use a Blackberry 7250 which displays email in plaintext - when I get Collab emails they are LOADED with links to images and to the collab projects, and its frustrating to have to scroll through everything to find the meaningful stuff.
My goal is to hide all "ugly link content" to those users that don't have HTML enabled phones - but I DO want to show it to those folks with the latest and greatest phones that can support it - such as the Blackberry Storm.
Isolating browsers seems like it could be the way to go, but rather than coding on a per browser basis I was hoping to just be able to do some type of "if HTML enabled" check.
Any suggestions?

It turns out that there is a content type called "multipart/alternative" which can be used in cases like this.
The content type allows you to essentially split up the content into a section for HTML and another for plain text.
In looking at the notification templates, there are 2 for each "event". One for HTML and the other for plain text but I assume this is dependent upon the user Account Setting HTML/Plain Text and not fed into a higher level template which is set for multipart/alternative, although I have a help desk ticket setup for clarification on this issue.
I played around with these content types and each time I crashed my notification service with a java.lang.NullPointerException.
I'm closer to giving up on this after reading the following paragraph:
"If email programs can recognize multipart/alternative content, they can probably also recognize HTML content.
If they can't read HTML, they probably can't read multipart content either, which means you're going to run into the same problems with sending HTML to folks with email programs who can't understand it.

How to send HTML email to End User using OOTB email processs?

We are using OOTB Send email process to send email to end user.
Templates has been created inside /etc/workflow/ProjectName/email folder.
Its working properly for plain text email.but for html template ,It send the email with html tags.
Any pointer on how to write html template for OOTB email process and activate email type as html ?

I am able to send HTML email following above link.
The problem i am facing is,When i am deploying the code through crxde.Code is working fine.
But using maven deploy..Bundle get activated ..But at line:
messageGateway = this.messageGatewayService.getGateway(HtmlEmail.class);
,it gives null Pointer exception.
Any pointer,why its not working from maven deployment.

How to output stored PL/SQL into HTML Template?

I have a PL/SQL procedure that uses htp.p to write a <script> element. The procedure writes out my Google Analytics tracking code so I don't have to update it manually in my many templates.
How do I get this procedure to write the <script> in an HTML Template?
I currently use the following at the bottom of my HTML Templates:

But this produces an error in IE (still seems to track ok, but some users get error dialogs of an error at line 2 char 7).

So I was calling the proc via a js call as follows:

Apparently the "<script>" tags in the proc output were the problem. If only I could see the generated HTML output of a page...

Your steps sound correct. I would add that you generally need the following:
1. publish the IAC, SYSTEM, and WEBGUI Internet Services (also from SE80)
2. make sure the Integrated ITS is working. Meaning you should activate the ITS in the profile parameter, this can be seen in transaction SITSPMON. Some services in transaction SICF also need to be activated, like the default_host/sap/public/bc/its
From your error message though it looks like the URL you have used is either incorrect or you have used the External Alias feature in SICF? The URL for the ITS is usually http://host:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/service. Second, the error is about a language resource file (.htrc), you have not specified if you created one or not. To create one in the language you are logged in with just go to SE80, open your Internet Service and double click on the "Topic xx". Don't forget to publish after creating and saving it.

The Split view and Disign view are disabled. Could someone tell me how to configurate Dreamweaver to treat .pt file like .html file?

In investigating it for this article, it was not possible to open .pt (page template) files using Dreamweaver, which is a deal breaker, as page templates are certainly part of the theming process. Created a page with the standard "two level tab and sidebar" template and found it to have the users name in the lower left corner $APP_USER.
A search for the origin of this name lead me into the flow_020200 schema where I found the wwv_flow_templates table to have a CLOB column "footer_template" that contained the HTML I was looking for.
Question: How to edit the templates HTML structure from the application builder?

Since this is a standard service file provided by SAP no need to publish it.
For the error you mentioned, you can do the setting as below.
Go to SE80. In the menu go to "UTILITIES" select "SETTINGS". The screen is displayed. In the tab select ITS. Here you can set the ITS server path. This ITS will be selected when you publish the service file.
