Thanks Apple for introducing this nice little feature into iCal but then completely neglecting to write any sort of useful manual that can explain what to do when it doesn't work after you set it up for the first time.
At long, long last we have finally got there after about 6 months of fiddling on and off, so I thought I had better post up the process since many have similar issues and it is hard to ascertain what is going on.
Using an external email server was just a waste of time and it still wouldn't handle the replies properly even though it was supposed to handle '+addressing'. In the end I set up a special gmail account for the iCal server and finally got it working. I list here the process of configuring and testing the system to check that each little stage is working.
Set up a Gmail account in Apple Mail to access and test in the usual way for any email account (e.g. [email protected].);
Set the iCal server email to access the same email using the following settings:
IMAP
SMTP
[email protected]
smtp.gmail.com
Port: 993 [x] Use SSL
Port: 587 [x] Use SSL
User & Pwd
Login
User & Pwd
To test the settings:
send out a test email from Apple Mail to a non-server email address that you can access to check it has been received;
send out a test email from your non-server email account to [email protected] and check that it is received;
this tells you that the GMail account is setup correctly and working
Testing iCal:
I noted that iCal was deleting any emails that arrive in the inBox in Apple Mail as soon as they arrived (this is to be expected);
test that the invites are being sent from iCal by setting an event in iCal and inviting your non-server address (you may not see any sign of this in Apple Mail but you should catch it in the iCal server log and possibly in the Gmail sent mail box);
check that the invite is received at your non-server account and Accept it in iCal on another machine - the reply is automatically sent back;
the replies appear in Apple Mail but are quickly deleted by iCal. But their record for you to see is left in Gmail under 'All Mail';
Accepted invites appear as a notification button on the top left hand bar on iCal where you click to acknowledge them and then the attendee is shown as a green circled tick instead of a grey circled ?.
this shows that iCal invitations are working correctly. Whenever an event is updated, all invitees should be updated by email automatically.
I hope this helps anyone - I could certainly have done with something similar when I started with looking at this.

I want to publish a book with Blurb. They don't have Russian fonts, so I have to type the text in Russian in Notes in my iPad, send it to my e-mail box, and then open the e-mail box in Mac, and copy and paste the text into the book template of Blurbs. I don't know how to make a Russian keyboard in Mac to be able to type quickly. I asked about it in the Apple store, and they showed me how to find a Russian keyboard in the net, but it takes much time to type using a screen keyboard, and the texts also cannot be copied and pasted, when they are in Russian. They are erased when I press 'command+C", and all I have is a single letter 'c' instead. No problems with texts in English. Maybe Russian is not supported for copying and pasting?:(

1) I am extracting Projects, WBS , Network , Network activity and network activity element from a SAP 4.7 system using bapi's

I am able to get all the details except long text. I want to know how do i extract the long text other than getting it manually by using select_text and Read_text Function module, is there any bapi to achieve this.
The reason why i am not using Function modules Read_text and Write_text is, object name( TDNAME ) value stored in STXH table for project, wbs and network are the project, wbs and network itself so i dont have any issues with this but the TDname value for activity and activity element are completely different ( Routing number and counter is stored respectively ) which i am not getting as the part of the bapi(BAPI_NETWORK_GETINFO) output.
2) I have to upload the extracted Project and it sub object data to ECC 6.0 system , i am able to achieve this by using BAPI's BAPI_PROJECTDET_CREATE, BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN and BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN. I am not able to load the longtext for the same, is there any way to load the long text .
All help will be greatly appreciated and rewarded.

I don't think there is any BAPI to do it.
We are doing it by read_text & edit_text . required fields for text name can be fetched by following select

How to Activate and adjust database structure

Hello Experts!
I am working on a screen-exit u2018PPCO0012u2019. In u2018EXIT_SAPLCOKO1_002u2019 function exit & there is a structure given u2018CI_AUFKu2019. I did implement this structure but now I donu2019t need this user-exit anymore. How can I delete this field from structure? Because when I try to delete the field and check this structure it gives me error message
u2018Structure contains no fieldu2019.
Also like as we can u2018Activate and adjust databaseu2019 table through database utility is there anyway to do the same for structure?

Yes I did add a feild to a custome structure COCI_AUFK. But I used for component I sued ZZNAME and component type is NAME2. Now I donno is this causing problem?
But what I've done it i deactive my this project thought cmod.
Still having short dum becuase of VBDKL
this is error:
'Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure "VBDKL".'
Then I went to check VBDKL (structure). When I checked it I get this message
'Field NAME1 in table VBDKL is specified twice. Please check'
I looked many time but NAME1 is not repeating at all. Not even in include structures

FROM tthe first part the regexp replace part gets the text between a start and end point you mentioned that would be <A and </A>
the regexp substr just looks for the phrase oracle.com in the text between those two points.

I myself do not use MS Access, but a PreparedStatement is in general the best option.
You can set parameters in the SQL which then get converted and even protected against SQL injection hacking.

i had an error in the code. which comes from working too fast. & also for free!
so you should cast to char after you do a check for -1. that is the only change.
two other issues:
you can use a larger buffer size for expected larger streams.
you really should be closing your own stream within a finally clause.

How to locate and remove this plug in?

Back in the day when I had given Android a try I was trying to import my iTunes library onto the Android device. I ended up downloading and useing the program Double Twist. However since then I've ditched Android and no longer have any use for the program Double Twist. When I browse the list of installed plug ins I still see Double Twist listed its listed as:

yet I have no idea where to find it so I can remove it. Can anyone help?

When I launch Finder I'm presented with Mac HD and Network (Network contains nothing) yet in Mac HD I see Applications...Developer....Library... when I go to Library I do not see another sub folder called Library. When I go to internet plug ins the one I'm looking for is not listed, I'd take a screen shot but apparently the image is to large to be uploaded.
When I press Command, Shift, G and type in either:

I'm presented with a message saying "This folder can't be found"
