How to align text in margin with text in document

I am using InDesign CS3 and am trying to figure out how to add text to the left of my document where there are figures and tables (so I can later create a table of figures and table of tables). I cannot get the text "Figure 1", "Figure 2", etc. to line up horizontally in the left margin with the figure I placed in the center of the document. What am I doing wrong?

How to make textframe go down with texts.

Hi All:
There are two parallel textframes in my page, TF_1(at left) and TF_2(at right), and there are another two textframe TF_3 and TF_4, two tables,TB_1(in TF_3) and TB_2(in TF_4),
TF_2 is too narrow to place TF3(with TB_2) , so I wanted to move TF3 a little to the left , but when I moved it, TF_4 (with TB_1) did not go down with texts, how to resolve this?

How to create a picture presentation with text ?

I need to create a 2 minutes video of a Bus rental company, the video has to be created with pictures text and voiceover, the text will be the subtitle of the voiceover so that the video can also be used without audio...
I would like to make it in FCPX but I never worked with pictures in video, is there any cool plugin that you know or any particular method to create nice slideshows in FCPX ??

I'm not familiar with any slideshow plug-ins compatible with FCPX and a quick search didn't turn up anything very promising.
But FCP itself has plenty of capability for creating multimedia projects like this. Keyframing is pretty straight forward (easier than the old FCP) and gives you plenty of control over timing of moves and effects. And you should be able to use the stock titling tools to do your sub titling.
Another approach would be to use iPhoto or Aperture (or some third party photo editor) to make your slideshow. (You could use one of the photo editor slideshow templates if one of them appeals to you.) Then export the slideshow as a Quick Time movie and bring that into FCP to edit your audio and subtitles into the presentation. Keynote could also be used like this.)
Finally, if you are (or can get) comfortable working in Motion, you can create compositions that will be both and impressive and unique to your client.

How to associate a test message with a change document

I am using solution manager 7.01.
accessing my change documents through the workcenter I need to create a new test message - so I use the Create transaction button on the button bar, Service Process, Test Message
Then I am in the create test message screen. However from here I cannot see how to associate my test message with either the change document that I was processing or to the maintenance cycle.
Ideally I want to link the test message to the change document however at least to the maintenance cycle.
How do I do this?
Am I creating the test message in an incorrect way?

This program is working fine. You can test it.
Only problem is as the column headings are big for some columns, they are getting truncated which you can always change by changing the column width in declaration

How do I count changed words with text insertions & deletions

I have a pdf and I'm going through using Adobe Reader to mark sentences as deleted, and adding text etc. Is there any way to get a word count of the document with the deleted sections removed from the count and the text insertions added to the word count?

Thanks. I feared that. The problem is that I have upwards of 1000 comments, some of which are single word deletions and some of which are deletions of >1000 words, so it will be a hassle going through and counting. Is there some way to parse the xfdf file to count the number of deleted words (I can't figure out how, from a cursory inspection of the xml)

How do I create a form with text fields that can continue to multiple pages with out it over lapping

I have created a form in Livecycle and have made every object a sub field. But I am still having the same probably. The text field only continues on to a second page and overlaps the footer I have created at the bottom of the page. I am new to livecycle and have tried a lot of different things to fix this problem. How do I fix the problems with text formating functions in hotmail and other text based sites?

In a Mailing list provider site it disables the text formating functions, instead only showing a 'loading' message. The functions never appear. In Hotmail the scroll arrows on the right hand side does not work. Sometimes the email toolbar becomes 'grey' and the buttons do not work. When forwarding an email sometimes the email does not show in the new email message.

But you're way beyond that and I see no fixes. In fact the phone is probably going to get more problems before finally gving up the ghost. Continued use is just shorting out more and more of the circuitry. For that reason I don't think repair is much of an option. Go to an Apple Store and buy an out-of-warranty replacement.
