How to apply a picture of human face onto spherical surface with 3D tools?

I’m learning Photoshop CS5 3D features and looking for guidance/steps for the following task:
With the 3D set of tools, to create a sphere with shiny surface and apply (paste?) on this spherical surface a photo of human face.
I need to do it in such a way that the human face following the spherical surface will get appropriately distorted by shape of the sphere.
I've tried to do this with the help of Pshop manual but did not manage- I'm too new to this 3D features,sorry...
No video tutorials, please - I need just to read the material and follow .
Can someone skilled in Photoshop CS5 3D tools , please, help me with this task?

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

If your camera pictures are stored on an SD Card you could purchase a lightning to SD Card adapter..

You could also get the pix to your computer then copy them to an SD Card, if your computer sports an SD Card reader.
Then use the lightning to SD Card reader..

How to "hide" the pictures in a "Faces" selection

I am trying to hide the pictures containing a certian face that I have identified in the "Faces" choice.
Now when I choose that person in "Faces", I get all or most of those pictures showing up.
Now I would like them to become "hidden" but the option does not exist as far as I can tell.
That is even tho the help section on iPhoto suggests that one CAN

How to get slideshow pictures from a DVD onto Mac

Hi
I am not sure if I am in the right forum, however I need help with transferring pictures from a dvd slideshow onto my mac iPhoto.
When I see the files on the dvd, they do not seem to want to open as pictures, they are ifo, bup & vob files.
The DVD would have been created on Pinnacle, but as I now have a Mac, I want them to be included with my other photos.
Any help would be appreciated (please use simple terms as I have limited knowledge of how to do things)

they are ifo, bup & vob files.
Those are constituent parts of an mpeg2 video file. Doubtful if you can 'reverse engineer' those to single photo files, so I would suggest you take screen shots instead.

I urgently need to find out how to apply behaviour to images in my webpage. Created with dreamweaver and linked J Query stylesheets.

I have created a web page with a photo gallery of thumbnails that link to bigger images when you hover over them. When the bigger image opens there is an odd shape at the bottom right hand side , that when pressed, will take me back to the home page. But its not the correct sought of button or symbol. I dont know how to set this up properly. I have linked J.Query style sheets. But must have missed something. Can anyone help??? this is my first web page design. It is all done except for this.

1. Make sure that you have updated all recordsets to the latest (CS4) version. Older ones created before the GetSQLValueString function was introduced are vulnerable.
The GetSQLValueString() function has always existed in Dreamweaver server behavior code. However, versions of this function prior to Dreamweaver 8.0.2 are vulnerable to SQL injection.
Unfortunately, you can't update older server behaviors simply by deleting the old version of the function and replacing it with one from DW 8.0.2 or later. Other small changes were made in the server behavior code for compatibility with the revised function. PHP server behaviors created prior to DW 8.0.2 need to be deleted and rebuilt. Yes, it's a pain, but far less of a pain than being hacked.

SAPDBEXE and SAPEXE,one is DB dependent and one file is DB independent.

How do I download pictures off my camera onto my macbook

I am trying to download pictures office parents camera, Canon Powershot A710is. For some reason I can't even get my Mac to read that there is something connected to it. Help. Sorry this is so veague.

Personnaly I use Picasa, downloaded for free from google, as opposed to Iphoto. Simply because Iphoto hides away any pictures you import. I prefer to store my photos on an external drive that I can backup independantly!
Picasa should find your Camera Automatically when connected via USB, and you can set it to download into a directory of your choice and place pictures in folders by date!
All under YOUR control, which Iphoto seems to stop you doing these days.

I'm guessing you are printing from you computer.
Would like you to follow the step below.
Return to the photo you were trying to print when the issue occurred.
Click File , and then click Print . The Print window opens.
Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on the software program, the button might be Properties , Options , Printer Setup , Printer , or Preferences .
Click the tab that provides paper type and size settings. The tab might be Features or Paper/Quality .
From the Size is drop-down list, select the paper size that matches your needs.
From the Source is drop-down list, select Tray if it is not already selected.
From the Type is drop-down list, select the paper type that matches the paper in the tray.
Click OK , and then click OK again to print the photo.

i found agreat website with free cd covers for my songs that will show up in the corner of my ipod. but i can figure out how to apply the picture to all the songs in an alubm an dnot just one, i can only drag the picture into the box in itunes one by one.

It seems absolutely so easy but I don't know how to upload the pictures from my phone onto my icloud account on my computer. I used the Beta but then I was using too much data. I only want some pictures available on icloud from my laptop and I want to delete the same pictures from my phone to save space. I'm scared if I delete them and they are gone from both my laptop and phone I won't be able to get them back!
