How to apply hue and saturation effect to only certain layers?

I am wanting to change it to this, but I want the girl behind the mountain scene: http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/286/poster2q.png
The only problem I am having is that I cannot put the girl behind the mountain scene withought having her affected by the hue and saturation.
So basically I am trying to get the girl behind the mountains withought her colour changing? Any ideas how? (Draging the layer behind the mountain one doesn't work without being affected by the hue and saturation.)

How you have your layers set up one can only imagine.
I put your 2 images on top of each other and added a mask to the top one and paint in.
Change the layer blend mode to something else(color burn in this example) for more options.

Hue and Saturation

I have no presets in the pull down menu in hue and saturation. I just want to get the general options back, cyanotype, Old Style, Sepia etc

1) Change the Hue and Saturation of the PNG in question (probably using the ColorMatrixFilter class, or something along those lines).
I would place the entire PNG inside a movieclip & modify the movieclip.
2) Be able to change the hue of different parts of the PNG... (I know , this is probably tricky).
I could only imagine of breaking up a PNG into multiple MC's so each one can be modified independently. Probably will be a pain in the rear end.

I have always wondered how people get to add black and white effect in a photograph. Anyone with tips and/or videos to show how this is done?

Start with a raw image for detail, you can adjust anything here especially shadow and highlight detail, the second button). You can then use the adjustment layer of black & white. Start with auto, but how pull the sliders around is different for each phot. If you still want to enhance certain areas I suggest color balance (under the black and white) for shad, mids, highlights.

The Integer type UDF is the answer.
If you have a large amount of values to convert, you might create a new Integer UDF ("UDF_INT"), and use a GlobalChange to move them. Example: where "UDF_NUM" is not equal to " ", "UDF_INT" = "UDF_NUM".
This will put your values in the new field without decimals.

How to apply audio and video transitions automatically when drop multiple clips to timeline?

If I remember OK, in previos versions of Premiere it was possible to Drag multiple Clips from project area to timeline, and apply automatically audio/video transitions.
It was possible to configure how many video frames will be overlapped to do a default transitions (and for audio, also).
Is it possible in Premiere CS6 to do the same thing ? Leave me a link to documentation, or a hint, how to get this thing done.
I have searched over the documentation, but i have not found.

I believe the feature you're referring to is Automate to Sequence. In CS6, it was in the Project Menu; for those using CC, it is in the Clip Menu.

Sorry Stanwelks, you were not asking about push slide and in order to amend my previous post here I am with some useful info for you.
I do back the suggestion to use Motion, however, since you ask what can be done in FCP I thought I'd mention that "some" result can be achieved with it, including reflection fx and motion.

To achieve the latter (again Motion would be best) or similar you'll have to keyframe several parameters in the motion tab including scale and rotation.
Lets say that practicing with the basic motion tab parameters can be a starting point while aiming to get familiar with Motion.

How to import RAW and JPEG, but see only one image?

This is driving me crazy.
I shoot sometimes RAW and sometimes JPEG on the same memory card. So some pictures have only a JPEG file, others (the ones I shot in RAW) have a RAW+JPEG pair (or at least, Aperture sees it that way when displaying the content of the memory card).
What I want:
- import only once
- for JPEG files, JPEG is imported as master
- for RAW files, RAW only is imported as master
There seems to be no combination of the import settings that lets me do this?!?!?!?
If, under the "RAW+JPEG Pairs" settings I select "RAW files only", all JPEG files DISAPPEAR from the import list. WHY? This setting should be for "RAW+JPEG Pairs" only, it should not affect images that only have a JPEG file. I want to import JPEG files as well, so I select "Both (RAW as master)". Now, in the imported project there are TWO images to deal with, which is not what I want.
Even if I were to import twice, how can I exclude the duplicates?

Please ignore my post. Aperture behaves correctly. I got confused because many pics look alike, but aren't really the same pic. Sorry for the confusion.
