How to asign some content filtering policies to a wan port ISA550

Hi, I have a Cisco ISA550, and we are trying to make some url's rules for the network. I have established a policie, with some content and url's, but now I need to asign them to a configurable wan port. What I have do is:
1. Go to firewall and open content filtering policies
2. Generate a new filtering policie. (named: diarios)
3. Load the policie with some URL (all are enabled with the tickets)
4. go to Policy to Zone Mapping and change the LAN zone. Now using "diarios"
5. Content filtering turned ON
6. Go to Advance settings and configure it.
everything saved and it works. But now I need to asign this rule only to wan port #3.
Can someone help me please?

Open the Trace Log panel in Scout - it shows you all the trace messages for the selected frames (in a console-like view). If you select all frames, you can see all trace messages for the entire session.

Can't fault my timecapsule, however just struggling to get one little bit of functionality working. I'm keen to get access to the WAN port interface counter information via SNMP, so I can track total bandwidth/throughput & also volume.
I have no issue getting SNMP to work & can see the 2.4 & 5.0GHz network counters, also total number of WIFI clients, wlan0, wlan1 and bridge0 interfaces. Trouble is none of these are the WAN/external ethernet port.
I see that it is likely that I'm trying to find the vlan1 port, however from what I'm reading this may only be available when the device is running in a routed mode (I'm running in bridge mode).
Anyone able to suggest anything?

Some cable modem you can turn off NAT.. and then use the TC in router mode.. or even use DMZ if the cable router allows that.
Have you ever looked at gargoyle router firmware and its ability to count and quota all clients connecting to internet service.. it is a simply fantastic firmware and can be loaded onto a router that costs $70-130 dollars.. it is 3rd party but very solid if you choose the right combo.

How can I check or set the Airport Express WAN port settings

I have a Netgear DG834G for ADSL connection with an Ethernet connection from the Netgear to a new (couple of months old) Airport Express. Performance for streaming and downloads has fallen significantly. On doing some problem diagnosis, I found that the Airport connection to the Netgear was showing as 10Mbps (an amber light), rather than 100Mbps. It should be 100Mbps (both devices support 10/100 Ethernet). I think the problem is with the Airport; I have tried different Ethernet cables and different Netgear ports. Other devices connect successfully at 100Mbps to the same port on the Netgear using the same cables.
Using the Airport utility I see no way to see any data about the Ethernet speed/duplex setting, nor any about how to configure manually.
Is there any way to do this?

Unfortunately, there are no port settings available when the Express is configured in Bridge Mode, so no way to "test" things that way.
The Express should act just like a 10/100 Ethernet switch in Bridge Mode, so you may want to take the Express to an Apple Store or service shop to let them have a look if there is no other way for you to test the Express with the products that you have there.
If you want to experiment to test, you could temporarily configure the Express in router mode to see if the port behaves the same way. There are port adjustments in router mode, but I doubt that they will have any bearing on things when the Express is switched back to Bridge Mode.
The default mode is Automatic, which should work, but apparently does not. Try the 100 Mbps Full Duplex setting to see what happens.

What we wanna accomplish.
We have few groups but i'll make an example on two.
We have one group that have allowed "Media" and another group that have allowed "Exe".
What is best practice if one user is in both group.
How would you do Content filtering?
I dont see in Content filtering condition
if (Envelope Recipient does not mach group) then Block.
Is the best way to create first?
If (attachment.type="Media") then (insert header="sometext);
and after in Content filter below
if (Envelope Recipient) and (Header does not contain "sometext") then Block.

Help with content Filtering

Hi all,
I have setup some content filters on our C300 appliance.
One of the filters checks for attachments of type media and puts the email into a quarantine area.
Another filter checks for attchments of type image and sends a notification to the recipient that they have a restricted attachment and attaches the original email to the notification.
The problem I have come across is if the email has both a media and image attachment, the email is classed as restricted and sent to the user as an attachment of notification.
We do not want our users to be able to recieve attachments of type media regardless of what other attachments are in the email.
Has anyone come across this before and do you know of a way to get this to work correctly?

I would assume that the Deliver action on the Media filter would deliver the email to the end user? This is not what I want to happen.
would it be better to have it Drop the email after it has quarantined it? It would then go into the quarantine area and drop the message?
No, you do actually want "deliver".
When you quarantine something, in effect what happens is that it's marked for delivery to the quarantine rather than the real destination for that message - but not actually sent there at that stage.
When the message gets to the end of the processing, it's then delivered - and will make it's way to the quarantine rather than your mail server.
So by putting a "deliver" directly after the "quarantine" you'll actually deliver it immediately to the quarantine. If you were to use a "drop" then it would be marked for delivery to the quarantine, and then dropped, so it would never make it there.

I think the simplest solution is to create a filter that allows server 2 (based on it's IP) to communicate with the internal domains, and drop the messages when they are targeted to any other domain
so:
filter source IP = servers
condition: message to: is NOT abc.lk or yy.abc.lk
action: drop message

Natively in IOS this is not possible. However you can configure CWS (Cisco Web Security). The router will forward web requests to a cloud based web security service.

assume that i have a 6G file(i think it large enough), then i wann insert one ascii character at the begining of the file,does that means:
1> i need create one 6G+1byte new file, then copy all content of the original file following by that addition character?
2> not creat new file,just set original file length to 6G+1byte,then offset all 6G byte by one byte,after all adding my one character?(it seems not some kind of optimization ...)
what should i do?

could some means can set the read hint of 6Gbyte content after my character first read out? ----just let my addition point to the begining of 6G original content ,then the addition character take the place of the file header? ----the inster may be the same....

I tried copying some content from various websites (open content from plian HTML pages) and tried to paste it in Quickoffice document as well as in mai application. all the text got pasted properly however the content had some graphics and pictures in it that did not get pasted. So, I want to know if there is any way I can do the copy and paste from website including embedded graphics

You will need to copy and paste the images separately from the text. Or you can try pasting into TextEdit. However, it should work if the editor can handle RTFD files as does TextEdit. You cannot copy images to a plain text document or editor.
