How to ask Adobe team for a bug-fix/feature?

How can I suggest an important bug-fix/feature be put in
Fireworks?
I'd like to request that Fireworks be made to use the monitor
profile in Windows to adjust colors to match sRGB. With a properly
profiled monitor I see corrected colors in Photoshop and
Illustrator but Fireworks does not appear to use the monitor
profile to display colors correctly.
Anyone know how to get this request to the right person? It
seems so obvious that a professional designer would need this -
correct colors displayed.

How big is the Adobe team for developing the iphone packager?

How many active full time developers are working on the iPhone packager at Adobe currently? I'm a bit curious since it would help me get a realistic idea how long it will take for new versions of the packager might come out. This is not to be taken as criticism (I realize the product is still in beta).

I printed out the table of contents and the sample chapter using 100%. The print is too small for me to read. The first page looks great - comfortable to read, but this is 14.00 X 10.00 iinches. The next pages came out of the printer at 7.00 X 10.00 inches. I'd need a magnifying glass for this. Too bad. I know I'd learn a great deal from your book.
Last month I got Photoshop Elements 11 for Dummies. The print size is perfect even under the graphics. And with this book there is none of that gratuitous humor that you often see in the Dummies books.
I should probably start a separate thread for this but perhaps you could give me a short answer. If you do a video that requiers a teleprompter, what kind do you use? I'm going to make three minutes videos for my websites and perhaps for Facebook in both English and Spanish. Even though my clips will be 250 words or less, it's hard for me to deliver the Spanish from memory. But I hate to pay over $600 for a teleprompter. Do you have any suggestions for a penny-pincher?

I have read through some of the tutorials that you have directed me too and they are very useful, thank you. however there are still a few things that i am not clear about. I am using net beans 5.0 I have placed a text file named Results.txt into the project at the root so the program can view it.
When I use the code that you provided me with, does it matter where the file is, or will it look through everywhere on the hard drive to find a match?

How to find description for the bugs fixed in a CPU ( Critical patch alert)

I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out WHICH BUGS are fixed in the recent Critical patch alert
I looked into the README file of the patch ( in my case its 8534387 for Solaris SPARC ) - but even in the README file there is only the list of the bugs fixed:

This patch includes the following molecules:

I tried the first one and you get multiple document where this patch is mentioned , but no clear place for the bug description .
Is there a convenient way to know exactly the DESCRIPTION of each bug that was fixed in a CPU ?

OrnaDo a BUG search using the BUG ID rather than a Knowledge Base search. After that if you look closely at those multiple documents you mentioned that was returned, there should be only one for your Platform and for your product. Ignore the rest and click on only the one relevant to your Platform and Product.

CS5 does not work... I have asked ADOBE to stop selling until fixed!

Message I sent to ADOBE after they dug into my RUINED flash file and lost more than 100 hours of design time... I am so PISSED OFF I cannot see straight! I cannot believe they are actually selling CS5 with the known problems... The software DOES NOT WORK!
Thank you... but seriously Bro this is absurd. You tell ADOBE couldn’t take another 6 months and BETA this out? Does ADOBE realize there design software is more expensive than everyone else's? And it should perform as such and this problem is not a small issue, my system crashes constantly ruining files that may have hundreds of design hours invested and ADOBE is selling this version?
I am making a FORMAL REQUEST that ADOBE STOP selling CS5 until these bugs are worked out. Tell the if they feel that’s not a good idea ask TOYOTA how that’s working out for them? Designers like me put so much time into our work there is NO WAY I will risk losing what could amount to ten-of-thousands of dollars in design time by working in CS5. You have forced me to sit aside the money I invested in CS5 because I cannot trust the build! How can ADOBE knowingly sell CS5 with these errors? The software does not WORK!

Yes. The Yosemite upgrade is notorious for damaging CS5 installs. Please reinstall and let us know how it goes.
Also make sure Yosemite is upgraded to 10.10.1
The reinstall will set your instal to 12.0.0 If Help > Updates does not work, go here Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh
download and apply the updates for Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw.

Firmware V4.0623.0.42 for N80 - bug fixes?

I have installed firmware V4.0623.0.41 in my Nokia N80 but after that the application I developed, stopped working (It uses WLAN).
There's no FOTA option in my mobile so I can't upgrade it by myself. Any Nokia Service Centre can cope with this and install V4.0623.0.42 on it?
Before addressing this issue in that way I would like to be sure if firmware V4.0623.0.42 will "bring back" my application, so the bug fixes list is very welcome.

i see so *#7370# is the code for the hard reset, i thought it is a soft reset i.e i thought it only resets to the original factory settings without removing the standard applications like quickoffice, adobe, settings wizard, mobile search etc.
Because i too thought i should reset the phone after the 0.41 FW upgrade and used this code to reset my phone but then it didnt uninstall quickoffice, adobe, settings wizard, mobile search etc...But now it looks like if you use this code after installing the 0.42 firmware it will uninstall them..hmm intresting.
but like you said its no big deal really as you can download and reinstall them anyway.
now lets hope that nokia release the V5 firmware soon and in that i hope that they fix the "go to" application thats in the "my own" menu and allow the users to put applications in there! as at the moment it has only 3 applications in it (inbox, calender and notes) and there's no way to put any other apps in there! how useless is that!! as it would be useful to put all the commonly used apps in there and assign it as a shortcut button like i used to have it on my previous 6230i and my good old trusted 6280! ahh the good old days!

Windows users: don't be put off by the "for the Mac" in the title. It's an excellent tutorial on using spectral display for editing, and it's not Mac specific at all. I learned a lot!

N9: How to make a basic call? Bug or feature?

People might make basic call perhaps like this: 1) they press the Phone-button, 2) they will get under "Call" -title small window for search (which scrolls away when scrolling contacts) and below that contact names starting from A... 3) they might scroll the names down and find right, 4) and call.
Next time, when pressing Phone button, the contact list at least in my N9 is is in position where I left it, and of course the search window is gone. It is frustrating to start to scroll names towards beginning in order to find the search-window, at least in my case, when # of contacts is >500.

To add to trinnemaas tips: activate the "sweep down to close app" feature within display settings. After using the phone feature, just drag your thumb or finger from top of the screen to bottom - this closes the app and nex time you open it it will be pretty much ready for you to do your thing
Or you can use the "search" applicaton instead, which will let you have pretty much instant access to search your contacts by name..?

You can disable portrait and then insert a graphic image large enough to serve as your frame or background. To that add text, shapes and other images managing layers with Arrange. Ta Da! Fixed Layout.
