I have Sap 5.0 version, i am trying to assagin tcode for Query , but it's through an error as no blank speace . But the same i did in 4.7c vresion i am getting any error pls help how to assaign Tcode for ABAp query.

SE30 - gives you a run time analysis and points out the issues more at design time.
ST05 - Is the most useful if you want to track time taken for execution of each of the sections.
SM50 - Will give you a work process overview, not sure at a program level how can it help you.
Some times you will have to use a combination of SE30 and ST05.
I would like to use St05 personally.

Hi All,
How do I find the TCode for a Config Activitity node?
For example.
OX09 is for "Maintain Storage Location"
OB52 is for FI Period closing/opening
I know these from google search, but how do find tcodes for other IMG activity nodes?

Go to SPRO and in Menu Additional Information Click Display key and IMG activity then Sytem will show the SPRO Transaction along with path
Else Go to Particular Node say Create Purchasing Group and Right Click on Node and Select Display Technical Info and in ID tab the Last four Charecters wud be the Trxn code.
In SPRO-IMG screen Only Few Nodes will Show / have the Transaction codes.

Hi,
We need to goto SE80.
In our program we right click on object name and goto create
-> transaction. Enter the module pool program and screen number and save and activate.
Or by SE93 also we can create a transaction code for our program.

How to create Tcode for Area Menu

Hi,
My requirement is to create an Area Menu se43 and assign a Tcode for it.
I have tried all options with SE93 but not success. I could able to reach to transaction se43 by using the start object 'Transaction with parameters' in SE93, but my requirement is to directly diplay the area menu so that I can start the applications over there.
Can any one help me to solve this.

Creating your own SAP Customized Main Menu
You can add additional menu transaction in the SAP main menu without affecting the original SAP default area menu S000.
For example, you have created a transaction code called ( z123 - ABC Own Report ) and you want to insert it under Logistics. The specific user will be able to access ABC Own Report by clicking Logistics -> ABC Own Report.
Steps :-
Goto Transaction SE43 - Area Menu
Click the copy button. Copy from S000 to ZXXX
After copying, click Change (area menu ZXXX)
Double click on Logistics and add in your transaction code in the AreaMenu.
Remembers to Activate it.
Next Goto Transaction SU01 - Maintain users
Type in the user name and click the Defaults button
Type in the area menu (ZXXX) in the Start Menu field.
Click Save
The user will be able to see the additional transaction on the next logon.

I would like to create a Tcode for a SapQuery i would like my users to use.
Is it possible? Can i use SE93 for this and it is, how do i use it?

GO TO SE93....
No need to use small report
No need to use generated program name (it really can change)
Just create a parameter transaction with reference to START_REPORT transaction. When creating a parameter transaction you have to set the following parameters:
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE = AQ
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = precisely the first 12 characters - query user group (including trailing spaces), 13-th character is G for global queries
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT = Query name as shown in SQ01.
That's it.
Well, and do not forget to check the flag "Skip first screen".
To all others interested: just try to add some SAP query into a role via PFCG, then run it, and then via System -> Status look into the definition of the transaction generated, and you'll see the answer.

I believe there were no specific t code for query designer aone the following are the only methods through which we can reach query designer
RRMX which takes you to Bex analyser and then you have to go to edit mode of the query
start ->Bex-->query designer .

I am still having problem... If i give Z* it shows all the Tcodes created with Z.
For that i will click Display object list and get my Tcodes inside my package..
But that is not my issue...

now go to tool .query->select query print layout--ouble click on ur saved query then ur pld will open set it with its propertites and layouts pls close the thread if ur problem is solved

How to find Tcode for database table

Hi Gurus,
I need to find out tcode for Standard SAP table in SCM APO '/SAPAPO/PBMVWT' for maintaining Plannning book text in different languages.
The problem is that Table maintainance is not maintained so SM30 wont work. I tried Where used list option for table but no tcode or report found using this table..

Hi,
there is no maintenance txn. If you need to have text in different languages, you need to do it as follows:
- logon for example once in english
- goto txn /SAPAPO/SDP8B
- maintain the text in English and activate the planning book.
- Logon in the other Language
- enter /SAPAPO/SDP8B again
- Type in the text in the other language and activate the Planning book again.
This will give the planning book language specific texts.

How to keep apps for later and not have iTunes prompt for an update?

can I get iTunes to stop offering me an update for an app I have unchecked for now but am not ready to delete permanently? I have some I bought that, for now I don't wish to use. Some are organizational apps, and I bought them to see if they would work for me. So far, I am still not clear which one works best for me so I want to keep it in my itunes library, to try later, when I have more time. I have unchecked it on my iphone and ipad and for when I sync, but when I check updates, they are always listed in the update list. With them there, I cannot check, update all, and have to type in my password for each individual download, which as we all know, on an iphone, if you have a good password to keep your itunes account from being hacked, can be a pain to type repeadly. But basically, I want to know if I can avoid being prompted to download and update for an app that I which to 'keep on the shelf' for now, since I believe that if I delete it from itunes permanantly, I would have to buy it again, should I want to try it out again.
I appreciate any help you can give me. I did do a search for my question but only found how to permanately delte apps in itunes. If there is a clear answer in a thread, I'd be happy to know what it is.

As with your iPod when connected to iTunes, the iPhone has various tabs for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. Your iPod and your iPhone can have different sync preferences.

How come the driver for the validiy sensor has an older version but newer release date

Can someone please explain why the driver for the finger print reader has an older date but a newer version?
The one on HPs website := Driver Version 4.4.234.0 and Driver Date 24/09/2012.
Yet the one on my P.C. := Driver Version 4.5.235.0 and Driver Date 22/07/2009.
Is it worth updating or not?
I can't seem to get the add-on working on I.E. 11.0.3
Any advice appreciated.

Short Answer:
If you are running the same version of the Operating System that you were running when the driver was installed, then it is likely your driver is fine as it is.
Based on your Example:
If you have upgraded your Operating System, and you are using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 AND your system is among those supported by the "newer" driver, then you should upgrade.
Long Answer:
There are several Validity Sensor Drivers of this same revision - in the case of sp58869 , the driver has been issued as a compatible driver for the HP Envy M6 for both Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. The change might have required additional supporting libraries used with the driver and did not require changes to the driver software itself.
You didn't say which computer model you have nor the version of Windows you are running.
It is true the specific driver within the version class might make a difference if you have updated your Operating System since your own driver was issued for your computer.
It is true that reinstalling a "same version" driver can help if the driver on your system is corrupted. Driver corruption is normal to some extent -- leave a driver on a Windows computer long enough and one or two of the zillions of instructions can corrupt, links can be lost; data can become unstable due to library changes or registry errors.

you can't update to iOS 5. You can only update to the latest version available for your device, which for the 3GS is iOS 6.

Just purchased Office for Mac 2011. I have an older version of Office installed. I have asked several "informed" people the question and have several informed answers. One says to uninstall office 2004. Another says just put Office 2004 in the trash first. Microsoft says to keep the older version on your computer and just do a new install of Office 2011. Nobody mentioned step #1 which is to make a bootable clone back up of your whole computer before installing anything new, then you don't have to worry if something goes wrong.
I would put, "Just put Office 2004 in the trash first," on the bottom of the list. Things like Office store bits and pieces all over the place and dragging some of it to the trash will just break your 2004 Office.
Despite the general take on Microsoft by Apple users I'd just install on top if that's what they say to do.
