HOw to assign keyword to a group of photos

Apple Pro training series advises to assign keywords to multiple photos, to simply use CMD A to select all photos, then drag
keyword over one of the photos and it should be assigned to all. When I do that the keyword is only assigned to the
one photo that it is dragged to.. not all. How do I do that?

Turn off "Primary Only". The tuturial seems designed to trip users up at this point.
Since you are working your way through it, I leave figuring out how to do it as an exercise (but you might examine the Tool Strip).

I want to remove a keyword from a group of photos. They all have the same keyword attached, of course. When I right-click keyword and choose 'Remove keyword from selected photos' it removes the keyword from the most-selected photo ONLY, not from all photos that are selected. I have to remove the keyword from each photo one at a time.
I'm running LR 5.6 on a Mac.

In Develop you can highlight a group of thumbnails in the filmstrip, then right-click and choose Develop Settings -> Auto Tone
In Library you can highlight a group of thumbnails in the Grid and click the Auto Tone button in the Quick Develop area.
What you can’t do is click the Auto button in Develop and have it do more than one photo—this is by design, except, maybe if you have Auto Sync enabled.

Iif the photos were synced to the iPad they can only be removed by connecting to iTunes on your computer, unselecting the photos folder that you synced to the iPad and then follow that with a sync.
IF the photos are in the camera roll, open the camera roll album, tap the as select button in the upper right corner, tap on each photo that you want to delete in order to select them and then tap the trash can icon.

How to assign values to server group when you parallelly client-copying

I'm now trying to create server group.
Currently, I use serial process, or default settings, when client-copying.
But I want to implement this in parallel processes.
Due to this, I have to create server group and assign a lot of values to something I don't know!
I want to create a server group, but don't know how to assign values to ones like "Max. requests in queue", "Max. no of logons" and so on.
Could you please advise me how to allocate values to the resourses shown below;
Advanced : 1 *I think "1" is the flag for advanced settings
Max. requests in queue
Max. no. of logons
Max. disp. of own logon
Max. no. of WPs used: *should be the total of SM50, I guess
Min. no. of free WPs
Max. no. of comm. entries
Max. wait time

Please suggest is there any way to assign Event to Auth Group.
Scenario is:-
Add event ZHCM* to its own authorization group.These changes to SM64 are needed in order to assign the transaction (restricted to the custom program only) to Payroll for kicking off their interfaces after each payroll run. Please create custom auth group say ZPAY and assign the ZHCM* event to this new auth group.

i hope you are assigning to the radio group not to a radio button. i mean u could have radio group xx with buttons butt1,butt2 , butt3 etc. u cant have
xx.butt1 := 100
Besides that it's perfectly acceptable by oracle to assign to a radio group unless of course the variable is badly spelt

Using Lightroom 3/Mac. Attempting to apply a preset to a group of photos. I read the forum already but what I read didn't make sense to me. Sorry. Also wondering if anyone else is plagued by Lightroom's tendency to take over the monitor. Whenever I want to switch to another application, I end up having to "Hide Lightroom" to get it to move. Any thoughts?

Adding a keyword to a group of photos

I'm trying to add the same keyword to a selection of photos. I'll type the keyword in the keywording panel. It will only apply the keyword to the first and last photos in the selection. I'm using lightroom 2.2

I am in grid view, I discovered late last night that if I had double clicked on an image so it was the single big image (I guess that switched to loupe) and was selecting things that way I couldn't do the group keywording, but if they were are small then it worked. This is new behavior to me, i just upgraded to 2. In 1 it didn't matter about that. I was hoping that was a preference or something that could be changed.

How to keep Keywords from Bridge when importing photos

I am moving images from Bridge on my old computer to LR on my new computer. The photo comes in fine but the IPTC Core fields are not there.
How do I fix this?

I’ve never done it but I think the only way to do it is to use the export command to send files to the desktop or an external hard drive before moving to your new computer. Try selecting a test batch of images in Bridge and using:
File >> Export
After selecting the destination, click on the Image Options tab and choose all metadata.

How do you assign keywords in iMovie 10.0.7?

I cannot find how to assign keywords in iMovie 10.0.7.

This reply doesn't reflect the iMovie '11 interface. This looks like the older versions, which allowed the user to toggle Advanced Tools. iMovie '11 does not have this option, and there are no Inspect or Keyword buttons available. Is there any way to assign keywords to clips in the new iMovie?

You can search for keywords that were assigned to clips in the old iMovie 11, but I can't find how to assign keywords to clips in this new version. Other than this, I'm finding all the old features and am loving the new layout and speed of imports with this new version!

This is a huge mistake in their release of iMovie. I was using keywords to categorize all of my son's soccer team videos by player. This REALLY distroy's all of my past content categorization. I hope Apple makes an update soon to FIX this as it should be considered a defect in my opinion (whether it was intentional or not).
What is funny is that I can do a search on the old video content by my old keywords and it still finds the video clips. It just won't let me add new keywords to new video going forward.

Hi,Does anyone know how to assign filters to user/ group in System9. I know that you have to create filters at the database level andassign security filter security from shared Services. The step I ammissing is where do you assign filter (i.e. ReadAcctFilter<<filtername>> to Accounting <<User/groupname>> thanks, 

assign filters in the shared services, under the analytic server to the user... procedure would be look for the user in the particular domain, and assign the user provisioning and the filter also.. I hope you got it.
