How to assign ownership of the term to one of its shared terms?

Hi everything,
I have created a term called "New to Company", then I added the child term "1st week", "1st 30 Days", and "1st 90 Days" under it. Then I deleted them since we decided not using them. Later, we want to use them again
so I was trying to add these child terms under "New to Company". It will not allowed meto do it. I found these three child terms are under System-> Orphaned Term. When I select one of it, on the right side ofthe window, pleae see the pic below.
Anyone please let me know how can I assign ownership of the term to one of its shared terms to make these three child terms back under the "New to Company" term?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to assign ownership of the term in orphaned terms.
For your issue, did you reuse the child terms before you deleted them?
Deleting a term when it is still reused elsewhere will move the term to the orphaned Term Set object, and the term becomes an orphan.
Orphan terms cannot be deleted directly. When all reused term objects are deleted, the orphan is automatically deleted.
You can only assign the ownership of the term to one of its shared terms, you can not make them back under the “New to Company” term directly.
If you want to use them again, you should delete the reused terms in other term set, then the terms would automatically deleted in the orphaned terms.
Now, you can recreate them under the “New to Company” term set.

I'm fuming! Same problem as I like to manually assign location data, esp as I just imported lots of old photos which I recently found on an old drive. They are now on new Photos app, but iPhoto, otherwise I would use the latter to assign geo data as before. It seems very complicated but maybe I could delete from iPhoto, somehow import in to iPhotos, then import from iPhoto to Photos. Would that work?
Lots of my photos have ALSO lost their geo data and their face data due to the fact that somehow my new "Photos" library suddenly decided to put 4000 odd duplicates in the new library imported from iPhoto. I then ran a duplicate-finding application in the new photos library, managed to remove most of the duplicates, however most of the photos that then remained had lost their face data which took ages to put on in the first place!!! (Perhaps the ones I deleted had the location nd face data I wanted and the software kept the duplicate version. I don't know...)
Plus I am having a nightmare with the new automatic uploading photos to icloud application that runs in the background if enabled.. It says its still uploading but doesn't appear to have got past a thousand in last few days and just 'stuck' on this amount, despite saying it is uploading automatically. My iOS devices only show a fragment of what is on my mac.

Importing tape into Imovie 11. How do I import all the clips as one long clip?

How do I import all the clips as one long clip? I have 45 min of footage and I want it as one long take I can edit in Final Cut ProX. When I import, all the clips are split up when the scene cuts. I just want the 45 min in one long video.

iMovie will import the tape as if it is direct from the camera. It will sense the scene breaks and put all the clips in chronological order.
If you want to import it as one long clip, I suggest you load the tape into the app that you edited the tape with. Then export it out as a QuickTime movie in the DV codec. You can import this MOV file into FCPX or iMovie.

How can I delete all the text in one story?

Yeah, it's a dumb question. I've done some pretty complex things using ExtendScript, yet I can't seem to figure out how to remove all of the text in one story.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it will show you the main directory.. so if you link in windows explorer it will be..
\\TCname\data
Or \\TCipaddress\data
Data can be whatever name the main (root) directory of the TC is called.

You can do that using XML Content and Actions.
You can write XML in specified format and upload it to portal, that will automatically create the content for you in PCD. You can create iviews, pages, assign iviews to pages etc.

Dear All,
I have assigned multiple sales org. to one product in product master. For ex:
Sales org. 1 ,2,3,4 & 5.
During the campaign creation If I select the same product for sales org. 1 it shows no error.
If I put sales org.2 it shows warning message saying that Product is not assigned to Sales org. 2.
But I have assigned all 5 sales org in the product master, however only one SO(i.e.SO1) is active at one time.
How to assign multiple SO to one product ?

It must be looking at the sales org at the header level. Change the sales org at the header level to sales org 2 and try adding the product for the same sales org 2. I think it will work fine now.

How do I make all the clips on one track the same volume?

I am trying to raise the volume equally on all the clips. One would think that it would be as simple as turning up the volume knob on the audio mixer on the track with all the clips, but of course not, that would be TOO simple. When I raise the volume, it keeps jumping back and forth as if I asked it to key frame the volume knob. How can I perform the simple task of raising all the clip volumes to the same volume ?

I do not recall what version of Premiere Elements that you are using nor the computer operating system on which it is running.
So, I will generalize for now, referencing version 12...
1. Assuming you have several Timeline audio clips that you want with the same volume...select the first, go to Adjust Tab/Adjustments Palette/Volume Panel expanded and adjust the Volume.
2. Then right click the that first file (with the adjusted Volume), select Copy.
3. Select all the other audio clips that you want to have the same Volume level. Then right click anywhere in the selection and select Paste Effects and Adjustments.
Does that work for you.
If you have video with its audio linked to it, depending on the specific circumstances to be discussed later, you might want to unlink the audio and video beforehand.

First of all, synonyms only help you easy reference the object. It doesn't have any implication of object privilege.
As long as you have proper privilege on target object. You can access it with or without synonyms.
Assuming you have proper privilege of objects, you can use following command to assume schema owner.
ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA = Schema_owner

How can i dynamically vary the color of one graph line

I was looking on the developer zone and noticed several people are looking for a way to change the color of one graph line. Simplest case I would like to know: a graph is running, then you press a button and from that point on the color of the graph changes, but doesnt change the old data line color. THis way the line will consist of different colors.
The property node changes the whole line, and the line is always just one color. It should be possible to make the line consist of different color sections, anyone know how?

The application is actually not as slow as it seemed, i had some settings set wrong (anti aliasing in plot, and some functions in advanced, when you right click on the graph)
Especially unchecking the anti-aliasing makes it much faster
Also, just plotting point and not a line, or alternatively, changing the interpolation makes it faster.
Anyway, the attached files do not rely on processor so much anymore, see for yourself
